Mel I thought my labour was quick!!!!!!!!!!!! Was it really intense? I found that the 3 hour labour was FAR FAR FAR worse than my 12 hour labour!!

It was really intense. I was laying in a bed being assessed and all of a sudden the contractions got SOOO bad. Then the midwife looked at me and said I was officially in labour and told me it that that was probably mild compared to what was coming. She wasn't wrong, I had wanted to not use any drugs but had to give in and have gas. I was a bit disappointed at first, I felt like I was being "weak" or something, but I know I did what was best for me.
After having a big restless night on Thursday, Logan was an angel last night. Everyone in the house thought there was some thing wrong with him because they didn't hear him crying. I am finally getting used to things and some how managed to wake up just before he started fussing. YAY I don't feel like a zombie this morning
My sister is visiting for the weekend so he's going out for the first time today for a tour of the town. He looks so cute all dressed up for the day.
Hey Mel, sounds like all is going well!!! I am with you on the intense contractions!! I think being so quick it is alot worse. I didn't have that pain with Tilly!!
Coco is divine and although she's sleeping she won't sleep in her cot at night!! Im going to try putting my top in with her tonight so she can smell me!!
i've been using my hugabub and she loves it. good for the day when she won't sleep, she just sleeps in it!!

Meg, the feeding is going pretty well. He just loves to be cuddled so some times he pretends he wants be fed so he can just suck and get a cuddle. He does seem to take a long time to feed though, he falls asleep a lot so I have to keep finding ways to wake him up so he gets enough.
That's a good idea about putting your shirt in her cot, I might need to try that.
I took him out today since I was going stir crazy. He didn't have much of an outing yesterday, my sister just went to a winery to buy some wine for herself and some for MIL to say thank you for letting her stay on such short notice. But we had to come home instead of driving around because it was so hot I was worried about him. So today we went for a stroll down the street and went to BigW lol. It was so nice to get out of the house and just look at things I can't afford to buy
I'm going to have a snuggle with Logan and DF before dinner. Hope all is going well. What is a hugabub? is that like a snugglebed? Excuse my nappy brain lol
Mel, I too have the hardest time keeping Coco awake at feed time. I have wet washers on standby, I tickle feet etc but it often doesnt' work. She had 4 and a half hours between a feed today but after that she only fed for 10 minutes and I couldn't get her to have anymore. It gets annoying when you can't wake them. Meanwhile she'll have 5 hours awake time at other times!!!
A hug a bub is a sling! Im adding a photo of it to my website after this, so check it out. It's all material, and is very comfortable. coco just likes to sleep in it.
I bought a snuggle bed but haven't used it. coco is just sleeping in her cot down the bottom of it! Where have you got Logan?
Im going to go and post my photos then try to get some sleep! hope you and Logan sleep well !

Congrats Tiggy! So pleased to hear the little ones are doing so well...wow on being breathing tube free and less than 2wks after birth! Any idea on how long it'll be before you can bring your little precious bubs home? Maybe around the 36wk point?
