Not sure about homeopathy will get one of the BB naturopaths to pop in, but acupuncture is brilliant for it... I get no period pain and only very mild cramping on day one. Its brilliant for any period issues, painful or heavy periods etc.
I am wanting to get out of using medications and into the more natural products eg homopathy etc and was wondering if their was anything I can use for relief of period pain.
TIA

Black Cohosh is brilliant for it.
not sure about remedies as such but i found cutting back on some things i was eating was great for preventing or reducing it.
preservatives in general and food colourings in particular nos 110, 122, 123,124 seemed to make mine worse.
A low-GI diet can help enormously with bloating and fluid retention and cramps. Also if you can get Black Cohosh or Dong Quai in any formulation these should help too.
I use a chinese herb my naturopath suggested to me. I think you can only get it through a naturopath or similar.
Its Dang Gui & Gerdenia, and i got it given to me because of my skin, but it also aids in the relief of pre-menstrual and menstrual signs and symptoms, and its really good!!! It also has other benefits such as giving you more energy etc.
It tastes absolutely ferral, but well worth it!!!
In a yoga class I went to a couple of years ago the instructor reckoned there were yoga techniques you could do to prevent period pain.
BP, Dang Gui = Dong Quai. You're right it's quite hard to get hold of.
Marydean, LOL after i posted i looked up on the tub and under Dang Gui it said Dong Quai![]()
