Now...what was I going to say? Oh yeah. Maz, that didn't make any sense at all. I'm staying with...I think Chrissy, cos she booked the twin rooms, and Caddie WON'T appreciate my cold feet. I wrote all this in the FB group. That I'll crash with Caddie if Chrissy gets a hot date, and with you two if Caddie gets a hot date, and you two better not get a hot date or I'm out on the street!
My neck is all stiff. I can't turn to look right, I took a heat pack to bed last night and had a hot shower on it today, but nup. Didn't help at all. Hurty as! Hoping it rights itself soon. Can't be faffed going to a physio.
Can't remember what else we said in the last thread...your muscle thing sounds ouchy though Annat.
Just a quick Q - anyone with boys that are TT, if you are out in the garden and they want to do a wee on the grass, how do you make sure they don't pee on their feet? J has no idea how to hold on and aim.
Also J has been diagnosed with Rotavirus. I have to go back to the GP on Friday. I think he must have contacted it at the swimming pool at the hol house, as mum said the water smelt funny, as she got him straight out. But not soon enough hey?!
Oh Meg, lmao!!! Okay, Bailey just wees outside...buuut, I tried to teach him to wee on the toilet. We were going great guns when one day he let go.......and he shot out all over the wall...and you know what I did??? I got me little fingers and poked it back down! I turns around and DH is standing right behind me...I was a bit emabarrissed at first but he didn't even make a comment. I spose that is how I would teach him..needless to say the porr little fella sits down to wee now! Bit tricky being a mum sometimes....
Rotavirus, I have heard of it but annot think what it is at the mo.....hope he goes away soons anyway, poor kiddo!
The Vic fires are.......the saddest thing I have ever watched. The Churchill fire is one that my Dad is keeping an eye on. I can't even imagine what suffering people are going through. Mum is a RN and has told me about some horrible stories, one was about a man hosing his yard in prep for the fires when he got smashed on the back of the head with a cricket bat....did not see who did it either.....and I think for each person that lit a fire, they should get 25 years for each death they have caused. I am putting together a box of things to send to my Mum. She works with anther Nurse who lost everything but thankfully has her kids and hubby. I just said for her to keep what her boys would like and to pass the rest on. I just felt I had to do something.
One thing that really annoys me though, I understand and appreciate the media covering what is happening but then in a few months time, tv stations, individuals and programmes etc all win awards for it. I don't think it is something to be glamourised.
Stay safe girls.
xxxx
Maz - hope DH is okay!!! I get in 'those' moods too...lol
Girls i booked a queen room and i cant change it. So um as long as you dont snore..I dont mind sharing my bed.lol I worn you i cant wait for a sleep though as i havnt had a full one since millana came along. 3 days of bliss...
Hope that you are all well.. it was my birthday on Monday, and i got the best bday present ever! We sold our house in Sydney ! So of course we have to wait until settlement, but fingers crossed all goes well! then we can build or buy up here on the Gold Coast, We are very excited!
That is so funny Vix. DH reckons that he helps him hold his doodle out, when they are outside, and also DH has a pee with him, to try and showhim. Hmmmm.... I can't do that though!
Well I don't have a son but about a month ago I did have my daughter outside nappy free weeing in the bushes, trying to be like daddy!
MrsT- Yay on sale of your house, thats great you can now buy up there.
Meg- How is J doing? Is he getting diahrea? Don't you get sick.
Vixstar- Yeah some of the coverage I am abit unsure of, I feel sometimes they are just looking for ratings not really caring so much for the people.
Caddie- FIL coming along slowly, the op sent him a bit loopy but medically hes improving, they feeding him via the nasogastric tube at moment and hopefully once his tummy starts working they can start him orally eating. Thats great Millana loves kindy so much, sounds like she is a little social butterfly.
AnnaT- How you feeling? Maybe the friend was too upset to tell you with you being pregnant yourself? I know sometimes it can make it harder for people.
Ambz- Thank god the wind blew the fires away from you, scary being so close to you.
My friends uncle was found dead in the fires, pretty horrible her aunt and cousin drove in a car without wheels down to the creek and sat in the creek til fire was over, her cousin then went back to the house to find his own father dead, very sad, and now the aunt is in ICU as she ended up having sezuires and other medical probs.
Its just so horrible cause that is just one story, every other person affected has horror stories too.
Im ok Shell, still in a bit of pain but last night exhaustion must have taken over cause I had 2 pretty decent blocks of sleep where I was unconcious
As for my friend, I dunno whats going on but she shouldnt think because Im preg I wouldnt be there for her, IVE been there 5x and all I know if I wish I had of had someone who understood to boost me up Might be because Im preg, which is fair enough I guess but still hurt a little, I consider her one of my good friends.
Ripley has his (late) 12mth needles today. Interesting to see how that goes. Jett is going to daycare, hayfever or not, because there is no way Im going to try and corral both of them for something like that. Plus he's driving me insane. Its sunny so they should play outside today.
Shell, Im so jealous your nearly ready to have bub, I still have atleast 5 or 6 weeks minimum and I am sooooooooooooooooo over it.
Whats rota virus? I cant remember? Does it cause diarrhoea? Hope he recovers quick meg.
Um not much going here. I have been asked to have a little stall to raise funds for playgroup so i am worried if i will have enough stock. Myself, maz and other girls on our store website are making things to raise money for the CFA. Im hoping everyone here will go and look please!
Ruby has recovered from the spider bite. It as been hot here and the girls are constantly asking me to go in the pool and i hate water.lol well the swimming kind.
I cant wait to meet you guys in june. I have told some of my friends and family. Some think its great and others think wow! brave to go and meet people ya never met.lol
Frigs sake, the girls are fighting and slapping each other. Its never ending battle, as maz can attest as sometimes i cant even talk on the phone they are being so silly.
Better break it up as they are fighting over a bday invite.
Meg - poor J - I hope he recovers quick, lots of fluids for him and please don't get sick yourself.
Shell - OMG your poor friend...in all this bushfire tragedy I feel so blessed with having two beautiful children when so many are going through heartache....I feel like I can't complain about them ever again as I am so lucky to have them.
Caddie - will go and look at the website, good on you for raising funds!
Not sure if I will make the meet-up will depend if DH is around, so will play it by ear.
Oh dear..Finny is starting to cry, hi to everyone.
BBL maybe

Hi guys, have been trying to post for ages, just wanted to send all my best wishes to everyone affected by fire and floods, I hope that all of your families and friends are safe.
Shell-hugs for your FIL. Wow just about to bring bubs into the world, all the best.
I have so much to say but not enough time to say it. I love you all and will try to catch up more, but life is just so hectic. I am all teary, hormones huh. Just know that I havent forgotten any of you.
Caddie-Hahaha my friends dont understand online friends either
Just a quickie today.....I can't get over how quiet this thread is now. last time I was here (months ago) I could not keep up and felt useless! NOW< I have to go to page 2 to find Sept 2006!!! Must be our gorgeous children keeping us incredibly busy!
Yestrday morning, Bailey was eating his toast and Noah was cruising around the chairs and bailey asked him 'are you my brest friend Noah?' and then kept saying 'Noahs my best friend'...awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Must've learn't about besties at preschool! Gotta love preschool hey! lol
Well, we have dug out the winter woolies...18 degress here atm..last sat was over 40 degrees.....weird.
Caddie and Co...WTG on the fundraising. I mailed my massive parcel on Thursday night down to Mum for her work friend who lost everything...bed set, kids clothes, kids CD's and a few toys, hats, kids books.....minds gone blank! watched Australia Unites on Thursday night...gawd I love this country.
Have a great Valentines Day girls....whatever you do...we don't celebrate it...EVER! lol Just another day for us.
I know what you mean vix, alot of girls have dissapeared which is a shame. I hope it is that they are busy and not because they dont like us anymore
And everything helps with the donating.I just think the aussie spirit is awesum! They have a gorgeous tutu im trying to win on auction.lol
My hubby wrote me a lovely card and i got him a signed hawthorn pic. Only because he works hard and is paying my trip in june to melb. I have to get back in the good books somehow.
We have to celebrate V. day cause we met on V. day so its also our 6 year anniversary. We didn't buy anything, tho my plan is to buy myself a Wii fit for after bubs is born and say thats my gift! We did get to go out to the movies, MIL was very nice to offer her babysitting services.
Helen- How are you coping with it all? I can only imagine how hectic and full on it must be. I'm stressing about one toddler and a newborn, you have double the work. Hopefully the tearies don't last long. You getting sleep?
Laurin- Hows everything with you and bubs with DH away? Is Finn settling alot better?
Caddie- I can't wait for our June meet-up, so how will your DH go with the girls all on his own for that weekend?
