I actually have almost all the styles of them lol. I have the undies that just do ur tummy & bum, the bike pants looking thing that do pretty much the same thing as the undies. I also have like a fuller body suit one that goes from above ur knees to under ur boobs. This one is pretty good...except u cant wear shorter skirts & it also doesnt have buttons so u can go to the toilet....u pretty much have to take the whole thing off, which can be a pain in the bum. The best one is almost the same as the one i just mentioned but doesnt go down near ur knees. It lifts ur bum & makes ur tummy flatter. It has buttons like a body suit so u can go to the toilet. They do work. I love them. I have a major complex about the "muffin top" u get when wearing things like jeans, these things pretty much stop it all together. They are also supprisingly comfy.
Anyway as u can tell i love them hehe. All mine are just the target brand

I have the target brand bike pants ones and Dr Rei shapewear underwear one which basically goes up to your boobs. I definitely think they do the job and it does make a difference, makes it all smooth as opposed to rolls IYKWIM?

I do have a couple of "problems" with both styles tho. The bike pants ones really really really cut into your thighs to the point it can make it uncomfortable, I thought I was the only one with this problem but a few other women I know have also complained about this too. With the underwear ones I find that they can start to creep down from the top, meaning that you feel like you are always having to hitch them up which also means it can make it appear like you have "backfat". It is almost like you need a couple of hooks to hook them up to your bra, almost like stockings.

    OMG, thanks for reminding me!

I want the tummy ones! Can I get the non-backfat types there ? So I head off to Target?

I swear by Nancy Gance (sold in Myer). The tummy flattening/thigh shaper ones are about $60 but well worth it. I wear them most of the time to flatten out a fat roll I can't seem to shift!

Another brand which is fantastic is Triumph which you can also buy at Myer. The tummy flattening/thigh shaper ones are about $40. These ones are particularly good for hiding the "backfat" you get from some other shapers.

They do work!!! They don't necessarily make you "thinner" but you do appear to be because everything is smooth.

They are a MASSIVE romance killer though .

ETA: Avoid them when it's really hot. I wore mine on New Years Eve in Melbourne and if anyone remembers it was like 40 degrees come midnight. I felt like I was going to DIE because I was so hot and sweaty from them!! Half way through the night I HAD to get them off and I had to ditch them in the bin because they wouldn't fit in my clutch bag !!
