Cutting the hair won't actually make it grow any longer. Cutting prevents it from getting shorter or thinner. Because split ends eventually split all the way up if not cut,causing hair to break off.so by cutting hair it keeps all hair in tact so hopefully it can get nice and thick!! good luck. I wouldn't cut it unless there were split ends tho

I'm not a hairdresser but my girls have very thin flyaway hair and it definitely looks better if I keep it trimmed fairly regularly. If I don't it just look whispier.
