I've just cut all mine off and at first when I walked out I was like wtf have I done (sorry miss k) but now I love it. Will prob let it grow out a bit so it looks more like the pix I liked but def don't regret it. Have had it alot shorter than this when I left school
i had hair down my back, almost to my bum. i got sick of it, tied in it a pony tail and CUT it off. my friend tidied it up and its now really short. i gave my big ugly ponytail to the alopecia foundation.
i love it, best thing i ever did, i look younger, its so easy to do in the morning, and im not so hot. and i can still pin it back if i want to.
i love my short hair.. love love love it.
mine was half way down my back and i got it cut short this year... it is short enough at the back to mess/spike a bit and long enough in the top/front to straighten and look feminine.
i get mine cut every 4-6 weeks. sometimes i trim my own fringe when it gets a bit long and also at the back sometimes.
it is a hairstyle i have to "do" everyday. i have wavy hair so mine just needs a quick runthrough a straightener to make it sit well. short hair only needs a small amount of product really. i use a paste rather then a gel and only use about 2pea size amounts. it usually only takes me 5 min to do my hair.
do it... cut it off.. you wont regret it. i can email you a pic of mine if you want ideas
I'm so glad I got mine cut off. Went from shoulder blade sort of length to a longish pixie cut around June this year. So easy to deal with, although it does take a bit longer than my old throw it up in a pony tail days. Got tons of comments when I first had it cut about how much younger it made me look - and you've gotta love that!
The down side is that my hair grows super fast so to maintain the style I can leave it 5 weeks at the absolute most.
I'm a bit of a serial cutter/grower so no doubt I will let it grow out at some point - I'll reason it out as being easier to deal with, but the reality is that I'll just want a change. So, it will get longer and then one day I'll just walk into my hairdresser and tell her to go wild.
I had long thick hair - half way down my back. I recently got it cut to just above my shoulders, the ends a bit layered. BEST THING EVER! I can still put it up in a pony tail or when washed, just towel dry, pop in a little mousse and hair spray and done. I am not big on styling my hair and hate wasting money on product (there's other things to use other than mousse and hairspray?). When I go out, I straighten it which takes no time at all and makes it look completely different to my everyday look. I got this done about 6wks ago and haven't gone back yet for a trim.
I've had it shorter before, like where I could spike it at the back. For me that was too short. I found I had to make the time to do it everyday, even if I wanted a lazy day, I couldn't just chuck it back out of the way and forget it.
