Ear piercing for an adult ... Where to get it done ??

Hi, if you know where your holes are or can see them clearly by looking into a mirror, you can re- pierce your own ears with a brand new needle & Ice cubes,to numb the area. I`ve had to do mine a few times,i do it at home,it doesn`t bother me,& i don`t find it painful, good luck.

As far as pain goes, well obviously everybody's an individual and has a different pain threshold, but earlobes are incredibly low on the ouch-scale, and I personally think needles are less painful because they're not crushing the flesh like a gun will, kwim? And because the holes are already established, you just need to punch a bit through at the back, it'll be less painful than getting them done freshly because the job is already half-done!!
The clamps will be a little painful, because they have to hold the skin completely taut, but it actually helps numb the piercing site so you'll barely feel the needle go through - if anything, it's a sting like a mosquito bite and you're all done.

Lol cysts are actually extremely common, but since they really only cause problems in a few cases nobody worries much about them. Mine were just lumps of hard tissue in my ears that would be completely painless and not warrant a thought for months, then would flare up, become red and ooze and be very painful, and eventually I just got tired of them flaring up and had them removed. If yours haven't given you any trouble you should be fine to go ahead and put earrings back in them, if they do flare up later on most are as simple to get rid of as a trip to the GP and a little scalpel job (the reason I had mine done in day surgery was because I had three in each each and they were pretty big). They're caused by a little piece of flesh from the outside of your earlobe getting stuck inside rather than being pushed out the back (which is extremely common with guns, as I said, blunt instrument = bad news) and because the two types of 'skin' are different, your immune system recognises it as a foreign body and walls it off - like an oyster coating a speck of sand in smooth material to stop the irritation - creating scar tissue and a big lump that won't go away.

Oh yeah I agree....my pain scale is def mostly based on clamp pain! :-)

Ear lobes are fleshy...no muscle or anything so very minor pain.
