Thanks for the feedback!
I've used Clinique Happy for about 10 years! But I deviated last year to Christian Dior Hypnotic Poison (the red bottle), which is EDP. It's so strong though, even one spray lingers forever. What i'm wanting to use next is Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, I think I will go with the EDP, seems like it will be better value for money.
Oh i got DP to get me the Chanel Coco Mademoiselle on his last trip overseas ... love it but as it was the biggest bottle i got bored with it after using it for so long, LOL
Member Bath she likes Clinque Happy (or is that Happy To Be ??) from memory (maybe she will pop in here) ...
EDP always last more than twice as long on me than EDT.
I always seem to be more in favor of the guys' aftershaves as i love more spicy fragrances ... i just love the guys Hypnose, but can't find a small enough bottle to buy (bought a vial but just didn't seem to pack the same punch of scent)![]()
It's funny about the Clinique Happy - its citrusy (spell?) and i've worn it since my early 20s. But my dh is very predictable with gifts, so most occasions he gets me a bottle. I have like half a bottle and 2 full bottles spare!
I'm a bit disappointed with the Burberry Tender Touch - it's a pretty smell, but gone within 2 hours.
I did get my Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, the EDP and it is quite strong! But still gone after say 4-6 hours... i think maybe fragrances just don't last on me?
... i'm the same Tan, most EDP's smell weak on me after 4hours, i tried the YSL Young Sexy Lovely EDT yesterday would love that in EDP (EDT last like 1hour on me if 'm lucky), be nice for day wear... Tried the Paris Hilton ' Can Can ' after two sales girl's going on about it and OMG it smelt terrible on me, far too sweet for me too !!
I only ever buy EDP
I have Lauren Style by Ralph Lauren and Covet by Sarah Jessica Parker. Next on the list is YSL's Baby Doll I think, or Vera Wang's Princess....
If you have a Le Reve consultant near you (not sure where you are, im on the Gold Coast) they do Hypnotic Poison & Coco Mademoiselle for about $80 for a 50ml bottle, and its parfum not toilette
I have the Le Reve Coco Mademoiselle and cant tell the difference between the Le Reve & Chanel one
Matryoshka if you get the lotion &/or body wash in the same scent it helps to layer, therefore making the perfume scent 'last longer' so to speak. It may also be that you are used to the smell therefore cant smell it IYKWIM? I have 4 perfumes that i rotate so i never get too used to them![]()
