Frizzy hair, HELP !!

I live in Ballarat (actually met my 1st BB member who lives here 4 1st time last week - :woman: Kass20, such a gorgeous & fun gal. I'm double her age BUT we get along brilliantly, tho I am young at heart. And wat a cutie her bub is ) ... and yeh, I head down 2 Melb once in awhile ... we moved here from Melb jst ova 3yrs ago so our friends & family are all over Vic.

Often head to DP folks about every 2mths who live sm town called Nyora (Gippsland). We now bypass where u live in Pakenham.

If u gave me the names & addresses of hair product wholesalers am I able 2 go in myself ?? I thought only hairdressers can go in ??

... Also mite help if I ask u wat hair products u wld recommend 4 my hair type as mentioned in my previous thread/post ??

dont know if this helps, but i have really curly frizzy hair, and the only thing that settles it down (if im wearing it curly - i use different products if im strainghtening..anyway) is pantene daily leave in conditioner. i just put about a 10c piece worth in my habds and rub it through, and leave it and my curls are nice and smooth and defined when it dries...sorry if thats not what you were after...

there are only 3 things that have ever worked on my frizzy hair - frizz ease hair serum (bout $25 for 50 mL) or Olive Oil (bout $25 for 5litres!) or sweet almond oil.

the trick is to learn just how much to use so your hair doesnt go all funny and oily - you need to use just enough.

after a few goes i am sure you will be fine - almond oil is now my favourite - i can straighten my hair and people comment on how lovely and healthy it looks! or curl it up with the diffuser and it looks just fantastic.

stronlgy suggest Sukin shampoo and conditioner - best i have ever used.

I have been a hairdresser for 12 years. i warn against using olive oil it has been known to cause scalp problems if u use too much.

i would find a local hair suplyer get them to send you a list of their products or a catalogue, tell them your a hairdresser new in the area (what are they to know, they prob wont even ask) and find out if they deliver, if you have hairdressers in the area someone must suply them, and get it delivered to your door, my sister does this all the time you can buy awsome shampoo and conditioner and moisterisers in bulk mine lasts me almost 2 years.

buying cheap moisteriser wont do anything esp if you are using crappy shampoo and conditioner. the cheaper professional brands are better than all the supermarket ones.

oh and i like the CPR phase 1. to either leave curly or straighten it. i hate all the oils and never use them not even on clients. just get a normal hair shampoo (cause you have fine hair) and a deep moisture conditioner (for the curl) and keep it off your scalp remember using more conditioner doesn't do a better job just is a waste of product.
