As a fellow hairdresser. U have EVERY right to ring them and tell them u want it fixed. Forget about the blonde for now, get them to either dye it all one colour or put more brown foils on. Dying over bleach so sooon will not be good for ur hair and can lean to it breaking off. Just start again hun. HTH

I'd go back and maybe go blonder just to even it all out. If you just want to get rid of the purple/blue look you can wash your hair a couple of times with dish washing detergent, it will strip your hair which isn't great but you can put a treatment in after. I've left the toner on too long before and don't worry it fades quickly after a couple of good washes.

They have to fix it, really. Dont be afraid to go bad, you don't need to be aggresive, just show them your hair....

Pineapple colour = you probably need to give it a good dose of toner. It will take the brassiness out of it.

The excess toner colour WILL wash out...usually after one wash so don't worry about the blue/purple tinge.

But yes if the hairdresser did it, they should fix it at no cost.

Did you end up getting your hair fixed or have you decided to wait a bit?

I called them and told them I wasnt happy but didnt want anymore damage done to my hair. The next time I am getting it done free by my hairdresser and they are throwing in a free product as well. I have been going there for 3 years so when I told them I was considering going somewhere else they were quick to do what I asked.

That's great that you are getting it for free, so you should, just remember to ask for the free product at the end and it's something you will use.

Yep - had my hair done dark dark mahogany with a slight purple rinse through it. A week later my hair was a flourecent purple and in the sun it glowed!!! I saw my hairdresser and told them I was coming in to have my hair darkend to black (I was happy with that) and that i wasn't going to be paying for it as I never wanted purple hair in the first place. They changed the colour, didn't charge me and it looked great. Really glad I went back. Go see them monday and tell them to fix it.

Just pop your DD in the pram and go back and get it fixed. i don't think I've ever been to the hairdressers without one of my kids in tow. hehe. Being so tiny she'll be easy to tend to while you're sitting there with the colour in your hair.

Hope you can get it all sorted. I hate it when hair-do's go wrong

My hairdresser couldn't do my hair either as she was going on holidays so she booked me in with another hairdresser at the salon.

Colour blunder number one ... i go back this same hairdresser tried to fix the colour at NO CHARGE ... then comes colour blunder number two ... so i wait for my hairdresser to come back two weeks later telling her i just can't walk around with the shocking hair colour ... so she insisted i come back in ... she herself 'fixed' at again at NO CHARGE ... BUT i was asked this time by the hairsalon manager to pay for the blowdry ... so i walk out with my nice usual hair colour & hair WET !!

First of dont get mad with them... GET FURIOUS!!!!!! Dont take that with a pinch of salt. They said they'd fix it and they made it worse. I say march yourself down there with as many kids as you can get a hold of (not for sympathy) it'll make them think twice about screwing you over again!!!!!!!!!

Sorry again. I get really wound up when people are stupid. I dont mean you Alibaby, I mean the first hairdresser and then the second for not fixing it right!!!
