I've decided I'm going to go from every four days to once a week. Hair is too long to bother with on work mornings and I'm back to work in under 2 months.
It was every 2 days and it needed it. Then I thought no, twice a week, just tie it back. Then to every four days. Today was day 5 (and I washed this morning) and just starting to look greasy. So I'm going to go to 5 days for the next 3 washes, then jump up to washing on only Saturdays.
However, talc on my hair makes me look grey. I'm old now, so can I still say prematurely grey? But not a good look when I tried it as a teen.
I shaved for the first time in over a year the other day. Legs, underarms etc. Usually epilate instead, so much better for you.
mmmmm this sounds feral but i only was mine about 1x a month, unless i've been swimming. I used to wash it 1x wk in my teens (i have really thick hair and it takes hours to dry!) and i have just gradually let times betwee washing increase. I actually always get complimented in my hair ( i am really lucky it is so thick and naturally straight at the front and wavy at the back) even though i don't brush it and hardly wash it! i just run my fingers through it to detangle. i am too unco to use straighteners / blowdry which takes hours. i like not dousing my head in shampoo!!
Can I ask when you say not washing your hair do you even wet it when you are in the shower?

No I don't let mine get wet. If it's really greasy I just spray some dry shampoo in. I wash mine about once a week or once a fortnight.
