Go the Brazilian (little landing strip down the front), or the XXX (EVERYTHING gone!). Ive had it done since I was 16 years old (XXX) and love it!!! It doesn't hurt at all (never has me anyway), you kinda have to expect some level of discomfort. oh, sorry just read you've had them! I still say have another go though
However, when preggie I just used a Lady Remington, to keep things trimmed and very short. Well, actually my DP, did, I couldn't see jack from 7 months on!!! I was very pleased at the result! Looks the same, no pain, and probably quicker and easier to do yourself!!
If I could I would laser my 'down south' region though I certainly would!!! Imagine that, a lifetime of no pubes!!! Perhaps I should hit up the family, partner and friends up for a laser voucher and appt as a gift for being an awesome mum, lover and woman!

One of my friends had her DH trim her up before the birth of their baby and apparently he took a little too much off and she said she felt embarassed that perhaps the middies would think she was trying to be prepubesent haha.
I just kept my mouth shut because I'm totally nude down Sth, which got me wondering do most ppl take it all off these days, leave a little landing strip, or just trim the bikini line?
Are the MW and my Doc going to think I'm a freak because I have no hair downstairs? I prefer it and so does DH & a few yrs ago this was what all the girls had, but maybe things have changed.
    What do you do?

a VERY long time ago, I was told by a nurse I was working with during a night shift, that a woman who was delivering her baby had a bit of hair that needed to be trimmed.......and when it was gone there was a tattoo on her pubic mound that read' KEEP THE LAWN MOWED...........now forgive me, but thats classic!
Ive got nothin', zip, zero down stairs as well...............and meand DP love it too!!!! I know what you mean about the prepubescent thingy though, takes a little gettin used too

The midwives will have seen everything including lots of hair, no hair, unusually shaped hair, piercings and tattoos. Honestly I'm sure they will not be phased no matter what you look like down south

I was just thinking i NEED to go and get waxed, my problem is DD2 is so so clingy i'm not sure she would stay with someone even if it is for me to run off for 10min.... hmm wonder if the person would mind a pram in the corner?
I want to get a Brazilian again, had it AGES ago before both the girls and well now lets say it's an untamed jungle and god knows what or who is hiding in there...

Another question!! It has been 3 weeks since I had my waxing done, the chick there said around 3-4 weeks was perfect but I have to say that although it had started growing back there doesn't seem to be much there? I can't imagine going back now when half of it isn't even growing back? I would feel like I would get it done and then have the hair that isn't grown back yet might come back in a week or so??

How often to you regulars go? I was thinking more like 4-5 weekly?

Yes go 4-5 weeks and then after it thins out a bit more you can go 6-7-8 weeks depending on your hair growth
