I highly rec Muk Kinky Muk its a cream in a blue tube.. It moisturizes the hair, de-frizz's as well as defining the curl I have a lady with the craziest afro un-managable curls using this religiously now and she is obsessed and said she has never had a product like it before! I also have another client who has really fine hair which is lifeless and wavy and putting a little bit of this in scrunching or twirling into the hair and she has beautiful curls!
I have tried NAK, Bed Head, Schwarzkopf, Loreal, Matrix, PPS, Goldwell and all these products don't compare and the Muk is cheaper than all of them its $20.95 or some places have it for sale for $23.95 my client with the thick afro curly hair gets 3-4 months out of her tube using it everyday!
What about good ol' fasioned curlers.. you know the ones you put into your hair overnight?
For me to have curly hair.. I just get out of bed.. I hate it.
hairhouse warehouse do sell it its $23.95 there, get them to try some in your hair first and Muk have a 100% money back gurantee... They might try to sell you other stuff but be careful as some of them are 1st and 2nd years or unqualified trying to meet their target for the week with Muk you only need the cream nothing else
I keep a tube of the Juuce brand curl booster at work (so can't see it right now and it gives really soft curls.
For a more intense effect (but a little crispy) I use PPS D-Frizz.
I also highly recommend MOP C-curl. I used to use it, but it was too soft for me.
