I have funny thumbs...whist I have gotten used to them over the last 30 years I still get asked what happened to your thumbs my standard comeback now is "I had surgery so they looked like this to have a good conversation starter"

I had my left big toenail removed when I was a child and for years I used to refuse to wear sandals or to wear a fake toenail. Now I quite enjoy freaking people out with my toe, and it's excellent for scaring children into never picking their toenails
