In the last year or so, a few people, not many and not often, comment on my legs. I have varicose veins and spider veins. They were very prominent during my last pregnancy and are much better now but they are still very obvious. I personally, at this point in my life, couldn’t care less. I am happy and confident about my appearance and I make absolutely no attempt to hide or disguise my legs, I would NEVER decide what to wear based on how my legs look, i.e. I would never wear pants if I really wanted to wear shorts. And to me, they’re really not *that* bad. Lots of people all over the place in my family have legs way, way, way worse than me. When I’ve finished breastfeeding I will get them “done”, if I feel like it, I’ll see.
I am always surprised when people comment. Initially I think they are just rude, but actually I think some people have never seen legs like mine and are genuinely curious. I do think though that if I was not so self assured that it would really worry me and I guess I’m just wondering does anyone else get comments like this, and does it worry you? Is it rude? I don’t think I would ever comment or ask someone about something like that.
My standard comeback line now is, “Hey, you think my legs are bad, you should see my vulva!”That usually shuts them up pretty quick.

That usually shuts them up pretty quick.

it's blonde/white baby hair type stuff.... beauticians often ask if it makes using powders hard (apparently it can make it show up more?) never noticed it either, and I refuse to wax it because you can bet your bottom dollar it will go from fine baby type hair to a full blown man beard.
