    Not loving the grey...

Is anyone joining me in not loving the grey that seems to be "the new black" this year?

I went shopping for something pink the other day (to wear for the Mothers Day Classic) and some shops I walked into were just a sea of grey - and other dull, lacklustre colours.

There's not even any really strong black or chocolate brown to work with!

I thought you meant as in hair

I was going to say... but it's sooo mystical.

Grey wouldn't even get a look in with me. If it ain't black it goes back

    :yeahthat: LOL

I couldn't agree more. Just look for out of season bargains... there was more colour last year!

Give me reds, oranges, blues... ANYTHING but dull washed out shades....

I thought you meant hair too!

I love grey! I wear it with black - I'm with Cai I am a black girl too... But I wear it all with bright reds, bright pinks, soft pink etc etc... Accessorise with bright colours and you can still feel bright!

I agree Inanna it *could* be salvaged using other colours...problem is, after not shopping at all (except for a frenzied beanie-search or two) last year my entire wardrobe is very sad and sorry and needs a sizeable overhaul...let's hope the op-shopping is better this year.

My hair is dark and skin is very fair so winter blacks and greys do nothing for me, unlike one of my sisters who has blonde hair and tanned skin who looks fantastic in every colour.

Im craving some colour too, but I am making do with the lighter greys and whites, coupled with dark blue jeans and metallic shoes (which I just love). Why cant chocolate be in this year? It suits my hair and complexion perfectly.
