I'm such a princess but then bub hasn't arrived yet so let's see how long it lasts! The more heavily pregnant I get, the more comfortable I wanna be but I still CAN'T bring myself to wear trackies out. And I think DF would unengage me if I wore uggs out!! But it's make-up every day for me - not a full face but ALWAYS concealer, bronzer, eye make up and lip gloss. And I really enjoy this routine because it makes me feel human so I'm willing to bet money that it continues after birth! I'll be made up in hossy, guaranteed!

But I am concerned about the spewing/spilling issue at home. Do they make adult bibs??

Normally I try to stay away from trackies....promised myself when I became a SAHM that I wouldn't fall into the trap. So the tackies only go on if it's cold and I'm off to gym. So my 'uniform' is cargos/jeans and a top of some description.

    That is 'normally'.........

At 35 weeks preganant, I am running out of things that fit, so if there is nothing going on I tend to stay in my PJs (Peter Alexander too). I even shower and put them back on. Occasionally I will wear trackies and a top of DHs. If I am leaving hte house it's jeans/cargos and a top. Wahtever's clean and confortable.

I can't wait to be able to go out and do some real shopping after this bub is born.

I ALWAYS get dressed...usually after the biggies have left for school. I've found that if I don't, I don't feel good about myself. Also, my pyjamas then get stained or wet on the sleeves, which I don't like, rofl.
Usually I wear jeans or cords in winter, and always try to stay warm. In summer, I live in shorts or a short skirt and a t shirt!

This sounds mad... although I don't wear sequins and my best tops every day, getting changed 3-4 times a day jic of a spew seems so time-consuming. If DS really goes to town messing me up then I change, butwouldn't wear clothes I didn't want to be seen in jic.

My makeup is just eyeliner, lippy and mascara, done in 2 seconds but worth it.

Well honestly its only been in the past 6 months that i've had the luxury of having that bit of time to do my makeup/hair and put on nice clothes to leave the house, before this point i was lucky to have a shower and brush my teeth, i literally didn't have the time. But people are certainly right when they say it gets easier after the first year.

I also agree that i feel better about myself when i do get dressed rather than staying in pjamas all day, but if i'm having a difficult day i just go with the flow!

I wear yoga pants at home... and I wouldn't dream of leaving the house in them... unless of course I am staying in the car - Eg: Picking the kids up from school.

Otherwise, it is jeans and a nice jumper/long sleeved top... or long skirts and tops.

LOL - im a bit of a princess too....my DH is home most days (does shift work) and i like to look 'presentable' .......even the days he's not home. I will always put bronzer or foundation on and a bit of mascara. I always wear something that i would be seen up the shops in......

I work in an office, so as soon as I get home, off with the bra and on with my pj's.
I envy those who do not need to wear a bra for support...grrrhhh!

hmm my day works a bit differently!

Stay in pjs until i get a chance to shower (usually late morning when ds has nap), then i put on "house clothes". I wear this until we are going out - at which point i change in to something better which would be jeans, pants, dress, skirt - whatever. I'll wear that while out, then when i get home, i put my house clothes back on! Basically because i don't want any of my clothes i'd wear out to get stained/soiled from cleaning, feeding etc so i put the stuff i dont care about back on.

I don't wear make up around the house, i only wear it if i'm going out somewhere nice - either to catch up with friends or out for lunch. But if i've put it on and i'm back at home i don't take it off. I style my hair every day, but this is only a recent thing because i've got a haircut which needs styling, but its very easy so doesn't take long.
OMG you just described my everyday. We could be twins!!!

Some days, I wear trackies, t-shirt and DH jumper (can't fit into my jumpers now I pregnant & don't want to buy any now it is spring). On lazy days I have a shower and get back into my pj's. Shocking I know.

    I think I'm a freak.

Don't get me wrong, I don't ever look "dressed up", but whether we are at home all day or out and about, I still get up before the kids so I can have a shower/get dressed/make-up on.

I have a "uniform" of sorts......several pairs of well fitting jeans/pants, and a stack of co-ordinating tops. All wash and wear, but all kind of timeless styles too....so things that will last me a few seasons that I know I like.....and nice shoes/boots. I am a bit of a fan of nice footwear to make me feel "up".

I am usually grotty by the end of the say, but it all comes out in the wash, and I like to feel good at the start of the day..........

Occasionally on a Saturday when DH gives me a lie in I will come downstairs in my robe and no make up & unshowered and Olivia says "Oh Mummy, are you sick?!" LOL!!

Lately I've been trying to get properley dressed in the morning. I'll never wear my shoes inside (sorry FlyLady ) but I do find that I'm more motivated for the day if I'm wearing my clothes not my PJ's.
