Just because of the type of skin that is on you're finger...the same thing happens anywhere on your hand really, as well as other places (cannot think right now hehe)

From what I have been told, it is because the skin on your hands is actually quite thin, and because it moves a lot it makes the ink bleed... apparently it is the same with toes.
Oh... I was also told that sometimes the ink doesn't even stay on the finger, so some people end up going back time and time again to re-do the tattoo.

My Dp is covered too, except his back. He has his inside lip done and his willie too.
Both look pretty clear still and they are about 20 yrs old. The one on his face has faded, but it was pretty small.

Oh Dp says there is a topical anesthetic you can buy especially for tattoos. YOu might see some ads for it in a tattoo magazine. Dp reckons the tattooist should provide it as part of the service.

I read that stuff (local number) can cause issues with the ink??? That was on a tattoo website!??
Ouch on the willie & OMG at having to hold it to tattoo it!!! heee heee heee
