what foundation do you wear?

I went on a new foundation hunt last Friday night and after a few places I ended up at Napolean and was all set to buy Napoleon Light Diffusing and camera finish but when I was ready to seperate from my money they had none in stock sooooooo I will get it next time. Ended up with Lancome "colour ideal" very happy with it but will get Napoleon next time...lol just looked where you are from Danielle they must love that combo

LOL.... anyone with pigmentation should try the new Clinque "even better" foundation. I have the worst pigmentation going on from my last pg and it looks amazing. I even have a scar from a skin cancer I had removed on my cheek and it covers that without the slathered on look. Cost me $48 for a tube and I don't really use much each time, even though I do apply it with a brush.

I recently bought a mineral foundation from Inika Mineral Cosmetics. I love Inika because they don't test on animals or contain toxic nasties. Also, I am quite fair, and their range is suitable for very fair to very dark skin tones.

I just don't remember to wear it!

I'll be looking into that new Clinique foundation Nic! Interesting that you say it comes in a tube. I often get frustrated with their bottles... you can't get that last little bit out! Before I used Clinique I used to use foundations that came in tubes and was able to snip it open at the end and get a few more "wears" out of it. I don't use very much each time. I assume "Even Better" comes in fair colours? I wear the Just Neutral in their Dewy Smooth range ATM witch is quite fair.

I have been wearing the Mabeline Liquid Mineral foundation lately but this morning I decided to use my Avon Mineral powder and I got a really big compliment on how my make up was done today. I find my mineral powder is quite light so I put enough blush on my cheeks and T-Zone to add some natural looking colour without looking over done.

Bath, ... i'm going to Myer in Melb tomorrow so will check out the Clinique foundation for sure (and some dreamy Mac eyeshadows i only ever drool over when i pop in there ... thought might buy some Mac this time as have a gift voucher from in'laws from Xmas !!)

I don't like liquid foundations so I use Maybelline Mineral Powder thingy when I can be bothered which is not very often.

I like the Covergirl Smoothers tinted moisturiser, medium-dark, SPF15+; I put it on every day and it is never greasy. Every other (expensive) foundation or similar product I tried was too greasy on my skin. This is the only thing I have found that is great to put on each morning and looks natural while giving a slight tanned look - and the best part is it is very cheap from Priceline!

I wear Laura Mercier - oil free - $90 for 50 ml and worth every penny!

I always get comments on my skin when i wear this (which is not that often) and its the only foundation i've ever tried which i put on and actually makes my skin look fantastic but like i'm not wearing anything. I dust a light covering of translucent powder over the top and thats it.

The price isn't bad too when a bottle like that would last me a year, and that is based on wearing it twice a week or so.

I use Mirenesse...aussie based co. About $40 for 50ml.......

I purchase a lot of things online....i would love to try another brand, but scared of what shade to choose....i love the shades in mirenesse.

I don't wear it.
Instead, i wear a tinted moisturiser and it looks just like foundation but its more moisturising... i use Nivea visage tinted moisturising care

I'm a Revlon girl mostly...use most of their makeup...and I'm a daily wearer so I have to be careful that I can afford my habit!

Maybe I'll go and do a little splurge before baby turns up...

I use the Napoleon stick too and pay about $55.00 as well. It does last a while and if you buy the applicator brush it lasts even longer. The brush is expensive too at about $75, but I've had mine for about 18 months and I'll have it for ages. You're supposed to 'shampoo' the bristles every few days but I probably clean mine once a month. (Norty Norty!) A stick of Napoleon applied with the brush lasts me about 5 months and I use it every day. You can get it on ebay. I got it for about $47 incl postage once.

i don't wear it. i used to wear it and would look worse with it than without it as my skin would just go all dry and peely. Sometimes i put on mascara if i am out on the town but thats it,
