WHERE is your tattoo? I am wanting to get one no bigger than about 10cm x 10cm, 3 Fairy Wren's on a branch. The places I'm thinking are either somewhere on my upper arm or the area between the back of my neck and my shoulder blades.

one on hip and one on upper butt cheek.
Don't like tatts on women's arms personally but that's just me.
Planning one lower back soon
I have one down the side of my calf, and one the side of my stomach/hip
I have one on each shoulder blade, one on my inner right ankle, one on my left outer ankle between my achillies tendon and my ankle bone and one on my inner left wrist.
i have one on my tummy near my belly button, mines looking fine after two pregnancies!
I have 3 stars on the top of my right foot and I have 'que sera sera' written across my right wrist.
Hmm i was thinking it better to avoid areas where i tend to gain/lose weight because do they look bad once stretched and then unstretched?
I have one on my shoulder blade and then another one on my forearm that goes from where the elbow is to my wrist (on the inside of the arm). And I am getting another one on the back of my neck with a large (quite large actually) lady bird cause they are dd's favourites and then get her name and date of birth under it. And I am also soon to be getting "No Regrets" tattooed on my wrist in another language, haven't figured out what yet.
tush, shoulder blade, inside my wrist
Thanks for sharing
I am leaning towards having it more on the back of my neck but to the left side. Kind of where a necklace would sit, but the branch would go upwards so the birds would be in a vertical line.
However, my hubby doesn't think it's a good idea. His point is that when or if i want to get a job it may not be appropriate... has anyone had this as an isssue? I can't see it being a problem, mainly because the areas I'm qualified in are the Arts & humanities feilds where i know a visible tattoo wouldn't be an issue. I can't ever see my self going in to a field where it would be a problem, but his point is that how will i know in 10 or 20 years?
So if i don't get it on the back of my neck i would be leaning more towards my torso somewhere, maybe lower side back.
I have two on my belly on opposite side and was planning on getting them fixed up but decided against it as I was worried about stretching during pregnancy but it has not been an issue at all.
I have one on my inner left ankle, one on the under side of my left wrist and a nice piece on my lower back that kind of comes down a bit over the top of my crack (this one is my fav)
I was planning on getting a butterfly done at the nape of my neck with Nikita's name underneath but DH doesn't like that idea. I will eventually have it done but may pop it lower between my shoulder blades or some where a bit more inconspicuous.
FWIW - my mum totally freaked out when I had my wrist done for the same reason your hubby mentioned and TBH it has never been an issue and I have worked in a couple of customer service jobs since having it done.
I guess the thing to consider is that you do not know where a job might take you. I can cover my wrist tattoo with a watch and bracelets but if you happen to get one done on your neck sometimes even clothes cannot cover it.

i have one on my left shoulder blade and i am about to get one on my inner wrist
can anyone tell me if the wrist is going to hurt much lol
Matryoshka - i have a ginormous piece on the side of my torso, some bits stretching across the belly, and surprisingly enough, post-partum everything went back to where it was, lol. the tattoo is still looking as when it was first etched in :3
I have one on my thigh("I believe in love surviving death into eternity"), and one on my wrist (Two overlapping envelopes sealed with love hearts)
I seriously regret the envelopes, it's such an ugly design in such a high-visibility spot! The tattoo parlour were having a $50 special on that day. I went in with a few designs of my own and they said it was only from a small selection they had... So stupid me picked a design. I had no idea where I wanted it (since I still wanted my other designs in the spots I'd picked for them!) and managed to get myself talked into getting it on my wrist. Regretted it the second the needles hit my skin.
On the other hand, I loooove my thigh one! I really wish I hadn't just looked for the least painful bit of my body to put it on. I want it huuuuge, dammit! It was my first, so I was terrified of the pain - which turned out to be so bloody managable!
When Smudge is a couple years old, I'm getting his/her name in DH's handwriting somewhere (most likely over my heart), and my brothers' names on my back (because they've always "had my back")
I haven't got any tattoos yet but i have a few in mind already. I want a tigerfly on my left leg just above my ankle. I want my star sign (sagittarius) on the back of my neck and i want some sort of elephant design on my feet or maybe my kids names havent decided yet but i know i want tatts on my feet.
i have a butterfly above my right hip got it when i was 18 or so..dont regret it as u cant see it anyway i dont go around with my belly hanging out
was thinking of getting a 'H' near it for Hannah
