    I do Butternut Pumpkin, a few potatoes, a few carrots, Leek, onion, garlic, sage, cinnamon and a dash of curry powder and then top up with stock. It is unbelievably awesome.

    Is it you who roasts the veg before putting it in the slow cooker Rouge? I asked this question a while ago and got told to roast the veg by someone - flamin DELICIOUS soup!!

    Do you need to pre cook leek and onion or can it just all be chucked in slow cooker??

    You don't need to. But it adds to flavour if you do.

    ahhh ok

    so if I roast the pumkin and what ever else I want to and saute leek and onion!! Sounds delicious

    Or you can just roast the leek and onion with the pumpkin, just take it out before it gets burnt.
