I would be wary of leaving it to be honest. Even though they are designed to be left unsupervised we got ours when living in an area that did this and I just couldn't bring myself to leave it for more than a couple of hours just in case.... We also tend to do massive cook ups which mean slow cooker is very full so we tend to have to stir it occasionally to make sure everything is under the fluid level and doesn't dry out....
