I am so sorry you are going through this, giving you a big warm embrace. I would just like to encourage you to take all the time you need after the birth to spend with your precious baby. To be able to have memories of your baby to keep close to your heart is something you will keep forever. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am sorry your baby couldn't stay.

If you are interested, there is a volunteer organisation that can organise someone to take professional photos of your bub for you to keep. The website has contact details for each State. Heartfelt used to be known as the Australian Community of Child Photographers (ACOCP)

Heartfelt : giving the gift of photographic memories - Home

Heartfelt is dedicated to providing this gift to families in a caring, compassionate manner.

All services are provided free of charge.

I'm sorry to hear that your bubba won't be staying earthside. I can't answer your question but know that we are here for you when & if you want to debrief. ((Hugs)) Apart from photos, have you thought about the hand & foot casts?
