LOL ... my DP hasn't said anything as of YET ... but i have seen the raised eyebrow in a kindish manner & lately he has been hitting the usual dusty treadmill in the garage

(Oh, Kim ... Cendrine starts 3year old Kinder tomorrow can't believe my one & only baby has grown so quickly for the day to come ... i feel sad but excited FOR HER at the same time as she is so lively & loves to be around people of any age ... she said to me before her bedtime tonight "Mummy will you miss me" and i said "Yes, i will miss you but i am very happy you are going to Kinder because you are going to have a wonderful time there " )

I made these today, easy and yummy. My mums recipe.

    125g choc chips (1/2 packet)
    2 cups SR flour
    1 1/2 cups brown sugar
    125g marg or butter
    1 egg

Cream marg and sugar. Add egg and choc chips, mix well. Stir in flour.
Roll into balls and place on a lined tray. Press down with a floured fork and bake for 20mins. Will be soft but harden when cooled. Walnuts on top are also nice.

Well, i couldn't decide on a recipe as so many yummy choices ... then low & behold i look on the back of the pkt of Cadbury Milk Choc Chips i purchased the other day & there's a recipe so i had a go at that today ... They are are ok i mean they DO taste nice BUT i like my choc chip cookies a bit on the raised side as these were very flat ... and i think i prefer them looking dark not like vanilla IYKWIM, maybe might add cocoa powder next time

    Here's the recipe if interested ;

    Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies

125g butter (i used unsalted butter from Aldi)
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/3 cup caster sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla essence
    1 egg
    1 & 1/2 Cups SR flour
3/4 cup Cadbury Milk Chocolate Chips

    1. Preheat oven to 160C (my oven i needed to bake at 170C).
2.Cream butter & sugars until light & fluffy.
3.Mix in the vanilla essence & egg.
    4.Stir in flour until combined.
    5.Add choc chips.
6.Place teaspoons of mixture on greased baking tray & bake in moderate oven for 10-15mins (I placed on baking paper on baking tray & I baked for them 15mins ... Be warned don't put too many on tray as these spread heaps).
