I made sand brownies (layered in the jar) for a gift last year, and I thought that I had better make the recipe before I gave it to anyone, and it was a total failure! As such I didn't give out any sand brownies!
However KR, I WILL try your brownies (I also admit I have never made brownies before last year), so since they work for you, I must make them work for me.
Thanks also for reminding me to try again with this concept (I bought jars especially last year!)
What a great idea! Think they would be really handy for the kid's school teachers, work colleagues and rellies you don't really know too well!
where do you get 1L jars from??
I think the large Moccona coffee jars would do. I also get large jars from my mum but I have seen large jars in places like Good Sammies!
whats good sammies?
Good Samaritans. Salvos. etc.
Reject shop have nice clip top jars for $2 or $2.50. I got those last year.
