I'm invited to friends' christmas parties only on the condition that I bring slice.

My fave is an almond slice:

    1 pkt Marie biscuits
    90g marg
    1/2 tin sweetened condensed milk
    2 Tbps golden syrup
    50g flaked almonds
    1 block roast almond chocolate
    10g copha

Melt marg, condensed milk, golden syrup and almonds in saucepan. Add crushed biscuits and press into slice tin.
Melt together chocolate and copha. Spread over base and refrigerate.

You can make this with macadamias or cashews instead of almonds. I also often make 2 to use up the full can of condensed milk. In this case I use 1pkt Marie and 1pkt Arrowroot biscuits so that its not quite so sweet.
