Hmmmm. I have tried both Natvia and Stevia and to be honest, I don't like the aftertaste. It has the same bitterness as aspartame or nutrisweet. Im not sure if I am particularly sensitive to it or something but I really can't stand the taste.
Personally, I prefer using a low sugar recipe. Applesauce is also a good alternative. Oh, and logicane is good too. It is sugar but it doesn't cause your blood sugar to spike as much as white sugar does.
I have a few recipes for cakes where I don't use sugar at all. But they have a banana and berry base.
