    Take tinned fruit halves and place in baking tray on their backs, so the area where the seeds have been cut out of is facing upright. Peaches or pears are best, but other fruit will be fine.

    Smash up some chocolate chip cookies in a bowl. Add the mushed-up cookies to the divet in the fruit. So it looks like a single piece of fruit with a crumblish topping.

    Add some water to the baking tray - about half a pint/300mls.

    Bake for 25 mins(ish).

    Serve.


    Another option would be an upsidedown cake.
