as to the counselling i think you should only do it when you feel ready and like you say you are not ready yet and that is fine coming on this site really does help knowing that people feel the same as you and have gone through similar experiances but it will take time to grieve i think its one of the hardest things to do and i just read about you DD kissing your tummy how sweet my son used to put his ear to my tummy and after loosing her i came out of the bath and he put his head to my tummy and said that he could hear the baby i just burst into tears cos i new she wasnt there anymore he was 3 at the time but i have now explained everything to him it took me a yr to do it he new that the baby had gone but thats all i said i have now shown him the pictures of his sister and told him her name and told him why i light the pink candle all the time he was very understanding and asked a lot of questions but i felt so good about getting out as i want to be very open with him as my parents were with me my counsellor was the onw who said its amazing what kids pick up on and how much they understand as i thought he might have been to young but he is 4 now and i told him on the yr anniversary of loosing her but i do get upset that he doesnt have a brother or sister to play with i feel guilty but i just hope he will one day. sorry to ramble on i hope you dont mind.

    take care girls

    Hi Munchy and Curl,
I know how you feel about the m/c effecting everyone in the family in different ways. My daughter said to me the other day "mummy you are always down" Boy that was a wake up call but also made me realise the toll the 3m/c have had on me emotionally and physically.

I had to stop the ginseng etc as it was causing me extreme insomnia So I'm going to try a different practioner on MOnday.. Im also going to another fertility clinic next week to talk to the experts.

On top of this my husband has a recurring testicular infection(not std) and has to go to a urologist. Since the m/c Ive had an irritated urethra/bladder that comes and goes but theres no infection showing up

We all have to just hang in there at the moment ladies and be the strong women we are.

its amazing what kids pick up on when you dont realise how you are acting around them its hard to not show your feelings at times, i try not to cry infront of my son but my counsellor told me that i should let it when i need to as my son will no that it is ok to cry and that mummy will have her down days and that i will be ok which is very true as i dont want my little boy to grow up and not show his emotions but its hard cos you feel like you want to protect them and make them feel like you are happy and that everything is fine. i just wanted to say your poor hubby with that infection i hope it gets sorted i bet you feel like its one thing after another at times i no i did last yr it was just a bad yr apart from getting married but like you said we will get through it we have to be strong ah.
