    Hi Issy,

How's things? Has AF showed or anything yet? If not are you still holding off on doing some tests? Well yesterday I was 8DPO and all the suspense of not testing was getting the better of me. I had some internet cheapie tests as well as some name brand tests so I caved in and did one of the internet cheapies. There was a hint of a 2nd line, so I decided to do a Confirm test and once again a hint of a 2nd line, so I did a First Response, Assurance Plus and Clearblue Digital and guess what? I got my I cant belive it, I really thought I didnt have a chance this month. I am very excited but because of my previous miscarriages I am also terrified. Everytime I go to the toilet and I am scared in case I am spotting or bleeding. DH and I have decided not to tell anyone until after 12 wks (coz I lost both my other babies at 12wks). It was so hard not telling anyone yesterday and DH was away for work so I didnt even get to tell him until he rang me at 4pm. I was hoping to tell him in person but I couldnt wait a few more days. I did more tests this morning and they are a lot darker than yesterday.

I really hope this is your month as well, it would be terrific if we were pregnant together. My fingers are x'd for you!!!

I really hope that this baby sticks like super glue

Fertility Friend has indicated that my due date will be the 17th of November. I havent even booked a Dr appointment yet, I'll wait until next week, think coz I am very nervous.

Anyway hun, take care and please let me know how you get on, I am thinking of you and sending you lots of

    Hi Leigh,
Wow, wow wow, I had a feeling about you! Congratulations! Its so exciting, im so happy for you! Im not even due for AF yet so I def wont be doing any tests any time soon. Im due on Sat. Me and DH have been chatting about TTC and have decided to go back on contraception. It was a hard decision because we both another baby but the timing is now really not great and we have decided to wait another WHOLE year until we try again. I have to admit it will be nice not to stress about AF arriving each month and just chill and get on with everything. It will be so weird to go back on the pill after so long, but I guess its all for the best right now. If I was to get pg, I would find next year really hard as I finish my degree and DH and I will be moving into our new house so its better we wait till all that mahem is out the way.

But congrats to you hun, you deserve it and god knows you have waited long enough! Im sending to you. Try not to stress to much and just hang in there, im sure you will be just fine. Keep me posted on how you go with everything!

    Thanks Issy,

My AF wasnt due yet either but I couldnt stand the suspense any longer. You never know, this may be your month too. I totally understand what you mean when you say it will be a good feeling not having to stress about trying to get pregnant now that you've decided to go back on the pill. The past 23 months of were a complete nightmare. I hope everything goes good with this baby. Like I said I am soooo scared. I'm not sure how many kids DH and I will have but if everything works out fine with this little bub and we do decide to try again I hope it doesnt take this long to fall pregnant coz I can't stand the stress, it totally took over my life!!!

Anyway hun make sure you keep in touch and let me know if AF shows or doesnt, and I'll keep you posted on how everything goes with me.

    Take Care

I'm not even game to change my ticker yet, I am scared I will jinx myself.

You've really had quite a journey to baby #2 and you still have quite a way to go. Let me say I'm sorry for your losses and everything you had to go through, but on the other hand, congratulations on your BFP!!! I'll keep you in my prayers that everything goes well.

    Hi leigh,
Well AF arrived this morning, right on cue and I have to say I have never been so happy to see her! Since the m/c in Jan, AF has been all over the place and its so nice to have her back on track and normal again. Hopefully the pill will keep AF normal too so when we ttc again, all will be good.

How is everything with you? I hope your? not stressing too much, although I know thats so hard to do when you have been through 2 m/c's. Im sure eveything will be fine and you'll have a healthy and happy pg. Im thinking of you and that it all goes well for you.

Keep me posted on your pg and Ill keep you posted on my situation (you never know, we might change our minds about ttc, who knows!).

Anyway hun, good luck, and I hope to hear from you soon.

    Hi Issy,

How's things? I'm glad AF came on time and yes going back on the pill should help regulate it. I have also known heaps of people who havent had any trouble TTC right away after they've come off the pill so fingers x'd you'fall quickly.

So far I am good, still majorly stressing though. I have booked a Dr appointment and go on Tuesday so I'll have a blood test to see what my hcg levels are and hopefully he'll send me for a scan in a few weeks. Last time he sent me for 1 around 7 wks then for my NT scan at 12 wks (but that's when I found out my little bubba had died at 11 wks). Im hoping this time he might send me for a scan around 9 wks as well, some how I doubt it though. If he doesnt I will go to a dr that bulk bills and pretend I havent been for a scan yet just so I can go for one around 9 wks as well, just for peace of mind. DH and I still haven't told anyone. I haven't even told my mum, I really want to but I think I'll wait until I've been for at leas 1 scan before I tell her. Plus my sister is due for a baby at the end of next month, Im going to hold off telling her until hopefully 12 wks, I don't want her to feel awkward if I did miscarry ( so hard that I wont) when she has her baby.

Remember I told you that DH and I are flying to Brisbane for a kid free weekend in April with some friends? Well coz we aren't telling anyone that I am pregnant how am I going to explain why I am not drinking (usually I would definitely drink, especially coz we wont have our daughter with us for the entire weekend). Can you think of any excuses I can use so they wont suspect I am pregnant?

Oh by the way I noticed on your signature that one of your m/c's was in May last year, so was mine (another thing we have in common).

Well I'd better go, take care and please keep in touch.

    Hi leigh,

Im so glad to hear everything is going well for you, im sure it will stay that way, im for you.

As for the drinking when your away, I had the same situation at Christmas, it was too early to tell anyone i was pg, but because it was christmas, everyone was drinking and I knew people would ask what was going on. So I made sure that all i drank was vodka (aka water) with orange juice or rasberry. It worked perfectly. When everyone was drinking champagne and they gave me a glass, I just took it and pretended to drink it but quietly tipped a little out each time they werent looking. A friend of mine told everyone she was on a strict detox program due to headaches and lathargic episodes, we stupidly didnt suspect a thing! When my sister in law wanted to keep it a secret when we were out for dinner one night, she made sure she always had a beer in front of her, but secretly her husband was drinking it at the same time as his, they sat them close together, so she was just pretending to drink from it. Nobody suspected a thing because she kept finishing her beers.

Ah the joys of keeping an exciting secret like that!

Anyway hun, we'll chat soon. You take care of youself and let me know how you go with your dr op.
