I've had 2 early m/c, a blighted ovum and a hydatidiform mole pregnancy
Hi,
I'm a first time user.
In the last 18 months I've suffered two early miscarriages, a blighted ovum and a hydatidiform mole pregnancy (partial). I am 38 so am worried my age is against me. I am hoping we've just had a run of bad luck. Has anyone else had a blighted ovum and hydatidiform mole pregnancy???
We are trying again but the fear of something happening again is not making what should be an exciting time for us very enjoyable.
I'd love to hear from anyone.
Thanks
kiwisandra

Hi there i just wanted to say welcome to BB, in the past i have had 4 miscarriages but help you on the rest,it is hard to enjoy the next preg when you are worring about what might happen , i have been there afew times. All the best with TTC. I am a kiwi to.
Welcome to Belly Belly Kiwisandra... I am sorry for your losses - you have been through such a difficult journey. I have not experienced your journey but I have said goodbye to 6 babies... I know there are some women on Belly belly who have experienced an hydatiform mole - hopefully they will pop in and share their experiences.
A blighted ovum is as I am sure you know unrelated to the hydatiform mole - and many very early miscarriages are "blighted ovums".
I am wishing you every success with your journey. It's a difficult time. I know you will receive much loving support here on Belly belly...
kiwisandra welcome to bb I am so sorry for your lost I lost my baby Jan 3,2007. I that you will get an soon hang in there and have faith everything is going to be alright. Sending lots of and a your way.
:angel2:Baby boy lost Jan 3, 2007.
twenty weeks
We love you and miss you.
I had a blighted ovum not long ago (D&C last week), was not expecting it at all as I felt everything was going ok - although this was my first pg. (Actually we weren't even trying at the time I had only been off the pill for a few months)
I will be 38 this year, but I am not too worried that age is against me. I am keeping positive attitidue to it all. I spoke to a clairvoyant about me having a kids and she told me that I would lose a baby early in pg then have a healthy one shortly there afterwards. I dont usually believe in this sort of stuff but so far everthing has turned out right. (She told me this way b4 I even knew I was pg).
I felt this has helped me prepare to TTC as it IS going to work next time.
I know I have probabaly babbled and not answered your ?? but I just wanted to tell you my thoughts.
Thanks everyone for your positive words, they really do help. Its is reassuring knowing there are others that can relate. I am trying to be positive.
I'm finding it very difficult at the moment as I've got lots of friends who are getting pregnant and it appears to be that its happening so easily for them - I am happy for them but get so sad for us.
Anytime you need to chat your always welcome I felt the same way when I found this website. Everyone is very supportive sending lots of your way. to everyone see those very soon.
