Need some help

I am now going through my tired lot of clomid and i was wondering how long it has taken people to get pregnant? I have had 2 misscarriages and are really wanting to start a family.
About two and a half years ago i went to see Dr Russell Dalton from Ballarat because i heard he was great fertility dr so when i went to see him he thinks i might have endo but before he could opperate i feel pregnant, its not been 6 months since my last misscarriage and we have not fallen pregnant my specialist has told me i should wait another 5 tried of clomid to see what happens and if we dont get pregnant then she is quilified to remove my endo and clean it up.
My question is do you think i should listen to my doctor or should i go see Dr Dalton because of his reputation? Im confussed what i should do.

my own experince with Clomid has been positive, but I have comfirmed PCOS and I also had some other issues that had to be fixed, namely a precancerous condition in my Uterus that required medication to correct before I could be sucessful with clomid.

I need to always trigger ovulation when I use Clomid, and I have heard alot of ladies also need this and also in most fertility clinics they will not use Clomid without using a hormonal trigger(injection) to help your body release the egg from the ovary.

Here is how a usual cycle goes for me.
Period starts, I take clomid from 5-7 days (this has depended on the Dr I use) on Day 10 or 11, I go to the OB or fertiltiy clinic and they do a ovarian scan and check on egg growth, and egg numbers, if the growth is either right or nearly right they will either trigger me that day with the hormonal injection or ask me to come back in 24-36 hours time to trigger. Both of my pregnancies have been day 11 triggers. but some ladies need up to day 14-15 to have the eggs at the right size for triggering. Our OBGYN will not trigger if you have over 4 eggs but I am 40, have a MC history and PCOS so I am not a overly high risk of having multiples, I think most OBGYN's will not trigger if there is more than 2 eggs ready to release.
We then do our thing....or if you prefer they can do Artifical insemination. We have tried both, but my DH is okay so I prefer to do home baby making not Dr office LOL.

Then we wait and test on day 28 or sooner if I can't hold out.
I know that OBGYN's vary from this alot, I have heard some scan more, some don't scan at all and only blood work, some don't trigger etc.
I just do not ovulate or release without support from medications to assist that. I would ask about the hormonal triggers, or at least ask if he could scan you on day 10 or 11 of your cycle or at the very least do a day 21 blood test to see if you ovulated.

Hi thank you so much for responding im just so confussed im still learning and about the fertility side of it all. when i started takind clomid i was on 2 tabs a day for 5 days then i would go get a scan done and she would tell me when and how many eggs i have. the last one was 3 eggs but nothing worked. Should i take to my doctor and the injections too?

my Angels, I would ask my Dr about the hormonal triggers if I was you, I use Pregnyl, which is he brand name.
