positive OPK 2 weeks after D&C???

i had a D&C 2 weeks ago after a blighted ovum, and happened to do a OPK today and it came back positive, does that mean im Oing or is there still hormones around from D&C??
Im really confused!!
Then i did a HPT (dont really know why) and got a faint positive as well so thats making me think something strange is going on.

will someone put me out of my misery and terll me whats going on.

When you m/c early you can treat it as a period - I o'ed 2 weeks after I m/c'd at 6 weeks and I became preg from that cycle - and am now nearly 33 weeks. I had had blood tests thou that said that my HCG level were back to zero.
Im not sure if that helps or not. I guess it takes different amounts of time for the hcg levels to go back to zero, sorry Im not much help! Im sure that some one on BB will be able to help you out tho.

I am sorry for your loss..

OPK's detect HCG as well as the LH Surge - Pregnancy tests only pick up HCG. The hormone is very close in chemical structure. It appears you still have some HCG floating around your system and that is why your OPK's and your preg tests are positive.

It is possible to ovulate a couple of weeks after a curettage but if your preg test is positive and your opk it would seem your hormone level has not gone down.

Keep an eye on it - maybe even gt a consult from your doctor - rarely but sometimes if a curettage hasn't been complete this can cause a continuation of hcg levels. It sounds though that your test was very feint. Try another one in another week and it should be negative.
