Toccara - Im so glad to hear that the headaches have gone away and that you are feeling relaxed. And if it makes you feel any better....I have found many many grey hairs and i think I started seeing them a few years ago...i wish I could only say I have found one! ! Scary! Hope you have a lovely relaxing day today hun...take care.

Well, may this new thread be blessed with all the goodluck and magic baby dust in the world, may this new thread and the new year grant many wishes and see all of our dreams come true.

Quick up date - all good here so far, trying very hard to stay strong and keep busy so I dont sit around thinking about everything too much. I feeling pretty good, every twinge still makes me worry a bit, but I think I am getting better...I hope. I am sooooo loving being pg, which is lovely cause I didnt with DS, but this sometimes makes it harder. Anyway, busy weeks ahead, lots to do, so hopefully it will all go smoothly and fast....I feel that when 12 weeks comes around my stress levels will drop quite a bit...im hoping anyway

Sorry for lack of persies at the moment ladies, im entertaining my 6 year old at the moment...summer holidays have begun...where did the year go?

    Hi all,
Hopefully in this new thread we will see some more postive news!
Just got home from chrissy shopping and am upset as I ran into a guy who's daughter had heard I was pregnant, but hadn't heard the news I'd lost it more than 8 weeks ago. It was so awkward and I didn't know what to say, you could tell he just wanted to run away and didnt know what to say to me. As soon as I got away I just burst into tears, I must have looked like an idiot. I keep thinking im gettin better and not so sensitive about it all but things like this happen and Im a mess! and to top it all off AF still has not arrived - D&C was 8 weeks ago, I feel like I cant get on with my life as I cant even TTC!! The gyn told me he thought I'd get it soon but its been a week since I've seen him. I'll leave it till next week and call and say "can I please just start taking the clomid anyways!"

Thank you so much for the all the welcomes I'm so glad to have found you all even though I wish we weren't in this situation.

4DPO today but I've just started a new job so I'm really pre-occupied which is good.

Sending positive vibes and support to everyone and hoping that I see many Christmas/New Year BFPs!

    Trying to conceive

I decided to join this forum because I feel like I can not talk to anyone about this. I am 34 years old. Other than my husband, no one knows I miscarried (not family, not friends). I'm ashamed. I got pregnant around Oct 4, 2008 (conceived on first try) and had a miscarriage. I was about 5 1/2 weeks. It was a natural miscarriage (no D&C). I already had a period after the miscarriage, so my husband and I decided to ttc again right away. I ovulated around 12/5/08. We had sex on 12/3 (lh surge detected by clearblue), 12/4, 12/5 and 12/7. On 12/15 my breast strarted feeling alot fuller (haven't felt like this since I was 15) and my nipples got really sore. However, the sore nipples only lasted a couple of days. Now my breasts are still full, but no sore nipples. I was really hoping I conceived. My period is due on 12/22 and I took pregnancy test, but negative. I know it may still be too early to tell if pregnant, but since the soreness stopped and my breast haven't gotten bigger (which was the case during the last pregancy) I'm assuming I'm not preg. Does anyone know why my breast would feel so full if I am not pregnant? How long does it take to conceive after a miscarriage?

Emmanue, I am sorry for your loss but you've come to the right place, I found a lot of support here.

In regards to the soreness of your breasts, I think it's completely normal to get that before your period is due, I always do. However, I really hope that you are pregnant now as breast soreness is also a sign of pregnancy, just wait few more days to do another test and let us know the results.

    Good luck!

Emmanue - Im very sorry to hear of your loss and you have definately come to the right place for support. Everyone in here understands what you are going through and the rollercoaster emotions of ttc, and thats what we are here for, to support to eachother and guide eachother through when we cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel...and truth be told, sometimes that tunnel can be long and tiring, but we all have faith and hope that a light is there, somewhere in the distance As for your question about how long it takes to conceive again after m/c, that question is very hard to answer. Some women are able to conceive straight after a m/c and go on to have healthy and happy babies....others have to wait much longer for their bodies to recover. Each time I have had a chem pg (very early loss) it has taken me nearly 6 months to conceive again. My last chem pg was in June this year and now I am finally pg again, but this one is not a chem pg....thankgod. We are all very different and unfortunately we just cannot predict how long it will be for our bodies to recover. I that you did just test too early and that you are infact pg. GL on you ttc journey and welcome to our wonderful thread.

Tempus - I completely understand how you feel about being surrounded by pg women. For many years I have seen so many women around me fall pg and I couldnt help but fee very jealous and even resentful towards them. I dont think it was because I was a mean person and I certainly never let them know that was how I felt, but inside I was so upset....I kept thinking...WHY NOT ME? Its very hard, I completely understand.

Smi - So glad to see your ticker moving along nicely. How lovely for you. And dont panic about the symptoms, you may be just one of the lucky ones who doesnt have any at all...im sure there would be many jealous women out there who wish they too did not have any..especially morning sickness. I am one of those people who do not suffer from many symptoms, apart from sore breasts...I have never had morning sickness and so far with this one, none to report. Dont worry too much hun...sometimes symptoms come a little later....maybe they are stil on their way!

I finally found AJC's birth announcement last night and even though I wrote on the thread, I just wanted to write in here as well....CONGRATULATIONS AJC ON THE EARLY ARRIVAL OF SAMUEL....im sure he is just lovely and we cannot wait to see pictures of him. He is also a great weight for 5 1/2 weeks early...you grow them big AJC! My DS was that size at term! Good on you darling...

Sorry ladies, I wanted to write more persies but DS wants breakfast so ill bbl for more. Just wanted to say I have reached a very small milestone...I have reached 6 weeks which I never have since DS....im still praying everyday though...
