Ami - You posted just as I was typing my post lol afm means 'As for me', it's just easier to type afm instead of the whole thing. Took me quite a while to get used to using it when I joined the forums back in october 2008. When's your AF due? Mine is due Saturday, but after the m/c last month when we got our BFP 1 day after AF was due I'm waiting until next tuesday before I test just in case AF does decide to put in an appearance. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that you get your BFP this month though!

Dory - Hiya darl! It's great to see you're still hanging in there, I've been thinking of you a lot, and my DH said to tell you next time I spoke to you that he's wishing you good luck!
lol about saying hi to me in another thread, thats just like me not remembering what I've read on the orevious page when trying to type out all the persies lol I've been drinking water like it's going out of fashion, eating fruit, bread, cereal... everything I can to get things moving.
On the upside though, we walked past someone smoking this morning (I'm an ex-smoker, managed to finally quit just before christmas, though I went through a pack of them on the morning of my wedding, and paid for it afterwards d'oh) and it made me feel really queasy... normally it's like I'm someone who hasn't had a drink of water in a week and is given a jug of water every time I walk past someone who's smoking, so it's very odd... but then again the majority of my sense of smell has gone MIA with this flu, so that could be causing it. I soo want to test though, 4 more days until AF is due, and I have to wait until next tuesday when I get paid to test. Bugger.

Just a general question - I know I'm not going to be able to hold onto that pee on tuesday until I get down the street, so is it ok to put the sample in the fridge until I get home? Just thought I'd ask as it would make things sooo much simpler in the mornings when testing lol

afm - DS now has the flu too... he's soo clingy, screams when we put him down, snot dripping down past his lips, tries to eat it (yucky! lol) rubs it all over his face... it's the first time he's ever had the flu, which must be a record for an almost 16 month old... he's had colds before, but they've only ever been really mild with a bit of a blocked nose and a slight fever, nothing more.
Poor munchkin. I'd better go and relieve DH so he can go and do housework lol
