MatthewsMum: 16! Go you! I think it's a brilliant idea to get back the lil'uns that didn't make it past day 5. Fingers crossed there's a BFP soon for you!
Ami: Oh the 2010 baby! It's such a hard thing to let go of. I was telling DH yesterday that if we get UTD next cycle maybe I'd go into labour early so that way it would still be a 2010 baby! But for me, I think the whole 2010 get preg super quick thing comes from not really wanting to admit that Splat is gone, and I'm not pregnant. Like, if I get pregnant really quickly, then I can pretend that I didn't lose a baby, I just had a super long gestation (lol!). But I think there's a beauty in being able to mourn properly and say goodbye, and I think the time is helping me to do that. That's today's epiphany anyway, lol.
Rose: 10 DPO is too early! Give it a bit and see what happens xo
Tegam: I still haven't started AF! I'll see when this cycle actually finishes (waiting..waiting...)
Reet: Freaking awesome quote! Love it. Welcome Oh, I got AF 4 weeks after I stopped bleeding, 6 weeks after D&C.
IonaMacca: Yay! Back into BD'ing! Good luck!
Alice: Visualisation is so good, I really don't do enough of it! Ohhhh holding a newborn, they smell so good, lucky you May's not too far away now....
Bons: Good luck, let us know how it goes!
AFM: Still no AF, temp dropped this morning so maybe today? Games night was heaps of fun, ate waaaaayyy too much food though. Still feel a bit sick, bleh. Waiting for Day 1 again.....
im so far behind now we have started a new thread so i'll just respond to the latest stuff....
welcome mummatomany, Ami & Reet - im so sorry to hear about your losses but im sure you will find a lot of comfort and support in here. Although it can be a sad thread to be in, it can also make you laugh till your belly aches and we all need that sometimes!
Reet - i got AF 35 days after D&C, everyone is different and unfortunately you just have to ride it out and give your body the time it needs, it is an awful lot to go thru physically as much as emtionally.

day9 for me so nothing exciting to report, bought my OPK's and will start them on Thurs. Seeing my gyno/ob on Thurs for a papsmear and will see if he has any answers as to why nothing is happening! hopefully he can order a few tests to help us know what the heck is going on!
Morning ladies, I'm having trouble keeping up with everyone, just spent 20 minutes reading through all the posts and have now forgotten (again!) what I was going to type
Anyway, Hi to the newbies! I hope you get your sticky BFP's very very very soon!
Jellylove - lol I wasn't allowed to sit in beanbags because I sat down one day around 7wks and my left hip 'popped', literally, and I didn't feel a thing... for a few days anyway, and since then (even to this very day) I have had cronic lower back and left hip pain. Physio said that sitting in a bean bag would only make it worse... I didn't believe her, but after waking up this morning with my hips all locked up I'm starting to believe her lol
My tax return this year is going into new stock for my e-bay store and new beads for Jewellery making... thats approx $1000 gone in a flash But, I stand to make back approx $3000, so it's worth it lol.
Hi everyone else!
afm - I'm backed up , literally... and it's painful... I asked DH last night if I was like that with DS (I can't for the life of me remember much of back then) and he said sometimes, but couldn't remember if it was before or after we got our BFP... I just remember that I had the flu from pretty much the moment I O'd back then to a week after our BFP (Approx 3-4 weeks total).
I get queasy a bit in the evening and after drinking milky drinks, and every time I cough like I did with DS, but that could also just be the flu creating symptoms where there aren't any... I'm back on taking strong painkillers 3 times a day atm, my hips, neck and back have been playing up the last few days, makes it really hard to do things because of the pain, but when DH isn't here I just have to grit my teeth and get on with things.
I have to go, DS just destroyed the TV remote... and DH isn't happy.
Matthew's Mum, Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better... Best of luck for you xo
Jenna, Oh my goodness! That sounds horrible! Best to do as the physio says then haha! your ebay shop sounds like a good idea - especially if you're making that much money! woohoo!
Have a good day all of you! xxx

Its getting hard to keep up ladies, theres so many of us in here at the moment.
So I went to the chinese herbalist and got my herbs...mmmm yummy
I had some acupuncture and made an appointment for next week and on the way home realised I would be ovulating before then, so I rang and made another appointment for this week hahaha... the poor fellow hahaha.
Hubby and I now praying together at night now too, and the bding is about to start full swing tonight...so here we go ladies. Heres to a successful April.
Also I was thinking, lets not focus on Not having our 2010 babies, lets concentrate on 2010 pregnancies. I cant wait to at least be pregnant, It would be nice if it wasnt in my every thought all day every day....a little obsessed maybe...
MM so pleased and excited for you....
Ferrals adrlin how are you??
Jelly love, AF is one confusing biatch, hopefully she is here early so you can be pregnant earlier next month. Is it definitely her??
Reet - I stopped bleeding on 27 Dec, and AF resumed 6 weeks later. Good luck to you, from one newbie to another!
Rose - This is so difficult isn't it, so hard to not get your hopes all the way up (every! single! time!) just to get crushed again. I hope that in a couple of days when you try again (hahaha did you like my joke? Who seriously waits a couple of days? ROFL) that you get your BFP. Are you still feeling poorly?
MillyD - so right, can't wait to be pregnant again, though afraid that I'll live in terror of the same thing happening. Stupid miscarriages, ruining what should be a really happy time with doubt and fear.
I guess what we all need to do is try to RELAX about it a little bit... sigh, it's so much harder to do than it is to type it out.
AFM (what does this mean? I'm just sticking it here because that's what everyone else does!): Well I'm due for AF this week, so have started the frantic preg tests (POAS? I'm sorry I'm so crap with abbrev). Did one in the middle of the day today and there was a SUPER FAINT LINE at about 10 minutes. I know, I know, they say you shouldn't wait that long, but you know how you stare and stare and stare at these things... I think I'd probably waited too long. I have no MS, but my boobs have been a bit sore since I o'd last month - which I actually felt via cramping this month, the first time that's happened! Here we go again, jumping at every sign. I hate this.
Jellylove - that naughty AF... I hope you slapped her... hard! I am hoping it's implantation though The best thing about the money I get back is that it's only a hobby, so I don't have to pay tax (I checked everything out before I started selling things, just so I wouldn't get caught out). Makes everything a lot easier, and I get to keep myself occupied while DS is asleep or playing. Doesn't seem to get the housework done though lol
Millyd - I've got everything crossed that you catch that eggie this month!
Mathews Mum - good luck - hope those embies are going well on day 3 - only one more day..... how are you coping with the wait?
Mo4 - I hear you sis.... it's just more of the same - worry! You'll get there.
Ionna macca - feel better girl. Are you able to just curl up in bed and feel sorry for yourself and devote your energy to geting better?
Reet - welcome! You are right, these are just wonderful women in here. I am sorry for the loss of your chrerished little bubs. A loss is a loss, no matter when it happens. You have the right to grieve your little bubs and your dreams. Grief is a very demanding and surprising journey.
It would have torn me up too if someone I knew told me they were ending their pg willingly after my losses, but that is their journey and their choice and they will live with the burden of their decision for the rest of their life.
Hope you get a big BFP soon. Hmm I bled for 8 weeks in Feb 09, but some was spotting and actually included AF ( not that I realised it at the time, but looking back on my temps and cm which I was charting but not reading).
Kit - tough crowd or not, I hope you had a good time. What "boardies" did you play?
Ami - welcome. I have to go back and read up, but I hope you're doing ok.
Hi to anyone else I have missed.
Murray, Ferals, TCALC, Crafty - thinking of you and missing you.
AFM - well it happened again, I stopped getting emails for this thread sometime late in March and only just realised. Although, at least it only took me about a week this time and not the better part of the month. All going well here - I still live with, what is at times, a crippling fear each day, despite my best efforts to be positive and thankful, but the specific things I am fearful of change as my journey progresses, so I suppose not even fear is stagnant. I think I am able to have some sort of sanity, just through sheer stubborness to be so very thankful for the blessing I have this day. I hope you all get to escape soon! Wishing you lots of babydust for April.
Bons - sounds like a nice weekend - fishing, chocolate, holding and taking in the beautiful aroma of a newborn, puppies and into the 1ww - good luck! This is your time.
Jenna - hiya! I have been off with the pixies lately and wrote hi to you in another thread DUH! They don't call me Dory for nothing.
Alice - I agree! There is nothing like it, except maybe holding our own cause then we don't have to give them back. I agree about the sweet sweet aroma. It is something special. I have a really understanding GF who just lets me nurse her bub although not so much now cause he is 8 months and getting too active and heavy now. I will have to find myself a new friend.! Ha, I dont think so.
Jenna, T hopes Ami,Jelly - I didn't read your posts before I posted. Another Dory moment.
Ami - fingers crossed.
Jenna -last couple of leads up to AF for me have involved feeling miserable with flu like symptoms, but not being backed up. Tackle some extra fibre and suck up some more water. I find sometimes just being constipated makes me feel nauseated - but boy am I hopeing that these are symptoms of a BFP for you. Hope your and the remote survived!
Ami - You posted just as I was typing my post lol afm means 'As for me', it's just easier to type afm instead of the whole thing. Took me quite a while to get used to using it when I joined the forums back in october 2008. When's your AF due? Mine is due Saturday, but after the m/c last month when we got our BFP 1 day after AF was due I'm waiting until next tuesday before I test just in case AF does decide to put in an appearance. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that you get your BFP this month though!
Dory - Hiya darl! It's great to see you're still hanging in there, I've been thinking of you a lot, and my DH said to tell you next time I spoke to you that he's wishing you good luck!
lol about saying hi to me in another thread, thats just like me not remembering what I've read on the orevious page when trying to type out all the persies lol I've been drinking water like it's going out of fashion, eating fruit, bread, cereal... everything I can to get things moving.
On the upside though, we walked past someone smoking this morning (I'm an ex-smoker, managed to finally quit just before christmas, though I went through a pack of them on the morning of my wedding, and paid for it afterwards d'oh) and it made me feel really queasy... normally it's like I'm someone who hasn't had a drink of water in a week and is given a jug of water every time I walk past someone who's smoking, so it's very odd... but then again the majority of my sense of smell has gone MIA with this flu, so that could be causing it. I soo want to test though, 4 more days until AF is due, and I have to wait until next tuesday when I get paid to test. Bugger.
Just a general question - I know I'm not going to be able to hold onto that pee on tuesday until I get down the street, so is it ok to put the sample in the fridge until I get home? Just thought I'd ask as it would make things sooo much simpler in the mornings when testing lol
afm - DS now has the flu too... he's soo clingy, screams when we put him down, snot dripping down past his lips, tries to eat it (yucky! lol) rubs it all over his face... it's the first time he's ever had the flu, which must be a record for an almost 16 month old... he's had colds before, but they've only ever been really mild with a bit of a blocked nose and a slight fever, nothing more.
Poor munchkin. I'd better go and relieve DH so he can go and do housework lol
JennaJayen- Well see first of this morning i went to toilet (this is funny!) and i peed, i was still half asleep got up off the toilet just about to wipe when i noticed something in the toilet oh my god!!!!!!!! it was a ****roach!!!!!!!!!! scared the crap outta me!!! then if that wasn't bad enough i noticed a bit of blood on the tissue so i was like great went back to the bedroom then i realised i was a week early and it could be implantation!!! got so excited then... cos the blood was bright red and very light... had bad cramps though this morning and some darker bleeding.... then this afternoon nothing! no cramps... no blood... so hoping fingers crossed.... Great thing you don't have to pay tax hey! that's awesome - good job you checked all that out before you started! think i might have to start a hobby... before i drive myself insane during these 2ww's how did you decide you wanted to do that?
Millyd - I've been confused about what it is all day... at first it was AF, then i suspected it could be implantaion, then it was AF again now im not too sure will let you guys know as soon as i know myself haha! strange how she's a week early though! grr
Jellylove - No more blood? That's sounding VERY promising darl! I'm double crossing everything that that was implantation I've never had it myself. I had a slight breakthrough bleed with DS the day after our BFP (I was approx 3 days late, but not sure as I was on the pill lol) some mucousy dark red on the the TP a couple of times and then nothing.
I've always liked beading, and jewellery, I started doing a couple of simple elastic bracelets to give to friends for my 20th bday before I met DH, and only did that for a couple of months, one bracelet a week lol then when DH and I bought our first house in september 08 I needed something to do while he was away, so I pulled my beads out and started making simple bracelets again. I've now graduated from simple bracelets to necklaces, display pieces, wrap-around bracelets, chokers, earrings etc, you name it I could probably make it. I've made fully posable beaded insects, octopus/jellyfish and pandora style charms. And my entry into the competition has a semi-chainmaille part to it (my first ever attempt at it, and it even looks proffessional!), just to give it some pizazz I'm actually really liking doing chainmaille, lots of fiddling, but the end product looks stunning, and you can add all sorts of charms onto the chainmaille links to add your own personal touch to it. I think I've been actively beading for... 18 months now gosh the time has flown by lol and I still ahve so much to learn!
If you want to give beading a try to see if you like it, get some plastic or glass beads of any style (I prefer glass, I'm not a plastic fan at all lol all my pieces use glass or metal beads), some thread (tigertail, fishing line, elastic etc), tie a thick knot at one end (has to be thick enough that the beads won't slide over it) with approx 2 inches of thread left free at the end, thread your beads onto the other end in whatever pattern you want, make it as long or as short as you want, and if you're using elastic, tie the ends together and make sure that the knot won't come apart (it is the most frustrating thing when you're trying to tie off a piece and it slips and all the beads fall off, hence the extra 2 inches of thread at the knotted end), if you're using tiger tail or fishing line, attach a clasp onto the end, attach the knotted end onto the eyelet (the bit the clasp connects onto the hold it closed) and you have your bracelet/necklace
The best thing is, that you can sell them at markets, on online auction sites and pretty much anywhere these days. The best designers can even get shops to put their items on display to sell on commission.
OH Ami and Jellylove,
my fingers are so tightly crossed for you, nothing else though as Bd has started
Hi to everyone else, too tired tonight...sorry
Rose how are you??? whats happening now??
Ami I am so excited for you...cant wait to know more, when is AF due???
love and babydust
oh and Dory I have been keeping an eye on you in another thread, glad you are doing well xxxxx
Jenna, No more blood so far - but there's time yet! And I'm just so worried, I know it's bad too stress about it, but it's definitely easier said than done not to! Say I do get my bfp... How long will it last this time? KWIM? I think everyone in here thinks the same things tho
Your beading sounds amazing! It's crazy how you came from doing it as a small keepsake thing for friends to selling it online! I hope you end up with your own shop that would just be fantastic wouldn't it? Do you have a link to your e-bay shop? I'd love to see some of it! I think I might give it a try, might not be for me! might be that i end up loving it! I did take up knitting for a while but i only knitted a few inches and then gave up Thinking of going for a walk early tomorrow morning as i have the next week off from work! might start doing something with myself!
kitfaerie-could it be a sneaky bfp...t-hopes-i like gardening,i think getting back to nature is good for us...jennajayen-maybe ring pathology about sample,i think putting in fridge is what i've been told to do on previous occasions, don't trust my memory on that one though...jellylove-hope the bleeding turns out to be positive..millyd-what a lovely thing to do(praying together)...dory-glad to hear things going well, fear is to expected..ami-you are doing fine with the abbreviations, fmu(first morning urine)is the strongest, they say not to wait to long as then the 2nd line can be an evaporation line, having sore boobs is a good sign, might be too early for anything else to show...thinking of you all
Another BFN today 11dpo. I am still cramping, breasts are even more painfull( not usual for me with pms only with ovulation). Metal mouth from time to time. Still feel terribly so at this stage i am thinking it is going to be the mother of all AF's. Still posotove for the coming months and who knows maybe even this month. I am a strong believer in getting your hopes up and it does no harm .Bad news is still bad news even if you were hopefull and the fall is not any harder. Always think the best and be positive.
Alice- I hope you are well and all the visitors took your mind of things for a while. You seem to have an amazing social life.
Jellylove- Sounds so exciting. I hope you are feeling positive as it certainly seems that way to me. As for the ****roach i think i would die. I have never seen one but the thoughts of it make me shiver.
Bons -how are you, any news? Only a few days left.
Jenna- I admire your ability to hold off till next tuesday to test. I should take some advice from that. I am praying you have no AF on Saturday. Your symptoms sound promising. Fingers crossed for you hon.
Ami- fingers crossed for you hon.
Dory- hi there. Hope you are doing well and staying strong you come accross like a very strong and caring person.
I'm going to go and try and get some work done. Supposed to be doing papers and research all week and am so behind obsessing over all of these symptoms. I will no doubt test again tomorrow and let you all know.
I have to appologise again for my spelling. I was never any good at it but doing ok in life with computer spell checks.
Chat tomorrow
rose - hang in there! signs seem positive! best of luck - keep trying with the poas I remember with my first i poas at 10dpo and got a bfn but then poas day af was due and BFP! so yeah there's still time hun xx fingers crossed for you! and the ****roach was not a nice thing to experience when i had just woken up
