    Morning ladies

Crafty-I understand how you feel i know i am a few years younger but ever since i did our PGD IVF cycle and looked at my FSH level i panic that time is running out i have been told stress can cause that level to fluctuate and mine wasn't really that high just a touch and that was the most stressful month because the month before i was racing the clock to get the prob testing complete and then my cycle was cancelled because of high E2 so i was pretty stressed but in my mind i think the worst that i am to old and time is running out every month now i think to my self i wonder what my FSH level is.
I know all my other hormones are normal so why can't i relax why do i feel like it wont happen why why why god i hate this whole process.
i got my peak reading on the wed & thur and fri and i felt my egg pop thur night my temp chart confirms that so we are in the tww together.
About your CBFM i would say it is not working because of your E2 remember it was low on your BT so it is not detecting the rise but you are still ovulating which is good you just have to BD every 2nd day to be sure to catch it.

Murrycod-sorry your night was a flop some men are real wan#ers you would love my DH he is not a drinker he will only ever drink on special occasions and then it will only be a few i have never seen him drunk a bit merry maybe but he is funny as makes me laugh all the time so i like him just the way he is.
When we met i was off my chops on a girls night out at the club where i work and he had done sercurity there a few times so i recognised him from across the room and i yelled out at the top of my voice there is that sexy sercurity guard with the cute a#se little did i know he had been eyeing me off for a while but thought i was to good for him and he thought i was married so he came over to say hi with a black coffee in hand and here i was throwing back the cs cowboys with the girls the rest is history we have been inseperable ever since.

    TTCALC-aww dress ups so cute.

AFM-doing the whole stupid mental thing telling myself i am not pregnant it wont work i may as well forget it we are duds i hate this part.
I was told by my FS if i am not pregnant by May to come back to see her and she will do a normal ivf cycle to speed things up but i cant afford her SIVF way to exspensive i have looked into westmead ivf clinic which is public so really cheap but i will have to go to sydney for all treatment even U/S and BT so a lot of travel i don't really want to go down that avenue but i don't want to waste to much time either and they have a waiting list sometimes i wish we never decided to have a baby together than none of this would be happening and we would not have gone through all this heartache.

Ferrals honey IKWYM, before I misscarried last year, DH and I were happy enough to plod along, not use contraception, but not count days ect, actually it wasn't untill was a week past AF being due I realised I was PG, I had no idea when my AF was due.....look at us now, obsessed and totally consumed with the whole thing. I may be only turning 30 next month, but I feel like an old grumpy un fun cow!

Crafty, we love you so darn much. X Don't go anywhere just yet, I know you can tough this one out, it's getting there that's the hard part, but you will amaze yourself how strong you can be. Good on you for just going with the flow of things, sometimes I know it consumes me way too much and it isn't healthy. Honey, just take it easy for a while XX

    Have fun playing dressups TTCALC!!

    Morning all
Thanks ferrals and murraycod for keeping me going, Ferrals I know what you mean about doing the Im not pg bit and to hell with this whole thing but I guess we have to just wait and test to make sure as we don't really know yet do we.
Murraycod I so admire your patience to have all those tests and still be smiling at the end of the day, I hope the biopsy goes well and you get a good result and then on to may for your next ivf won't be long now.
Ferrals I know what you mean about spending on more treatment, I know that my only other option is to go to the clinic and spend god knows how much on tests and maybe drugs and IUI and then eventually maybe ivf and to be honest I just haven't got it in me anymore I have to accept that if its not happening naturally for me then its not happening. I know I did ovulate late weds as I felt real sick had bad pains in my right side and migrain it all tied up with an opk but I still have this niggling feeling in my heart that my time is up !
But I will test on 26th just to make sure unless AF turns up before ! I will be 45 on that day and well could be the end of it for me I think if no BFP.
Glad you found me in the other thread seems they understand a lot more on there for us oldies !!!

TTCLC hi thanks for your thoughts I know how hard it is with kids at home trying to stay poitive and do the best you can for them and TTC at the same time is not easy ! finding the time when they are all in bed and quiet well thats a challenge ! enjoy your dressing up my little DDs 6 and 4 are always dressing up as fairys ! they love it my DS 2 also likes to be a fairy ( bit worried about that one )

    Have a great day !

    Hi Ladies

Thank you all for the very warm welcome. I'm not sure when I can start the clomid again. I have another FS/Gyn appointment on the 28th April post op so I'll check with her then. I figure if I am going to O naturally I might as well start doing my OPK's once the bleeding has stopped. I'm also back to doing BBT charting as well so we'll see how it goes.

I guess if I don't have AF by the 6th week my FS/Gyn will give me something to bring it on. DH is going away in July for 6 weeks so I'm trying to decide if we should do the IVF so we can keep going whilst he is away. Hmm not sure but then we have our BFP before we have to decide.

Murrycod- actually i had highlights done on wed so thats my excuse lol i can live with that.

Crafty-LOL my DS2 loved wearing my nieces fairy outfit when he was little pink wings and all you just brought great memories.
And the oldie thread is good to talk to women that have the same concerns with that blasted biological clock ticking.

Porsche-It would be nice to have a BFP before having to decide that's where we are at my fertility is supose to be normal but as i am no spring chicken and we have a 1 in 4 chance of having a baby with a genetic condition that is not viable with life we are trying to hurry things up a bit because we might have to try a few times to get a healthy baby my FS said if we are not pregnant by May to go see her for a round of normal IVF to get pregnant quicker i am hoping i don't have to.

    Morning everyone,

Porsche of course you would be feeling shocked, angry and upset - such a difficult thing to go through after a long time TTC, especially if you didn't feel any different and you'd had a little heart beat earlier. I'm so sorry. I know some women here have managed to fall pg waiting for the first AF to show so who knows maybe it will be your month. Whichever way, hope it doesn't take too long. I went six weeks from mc to AF but as others have said, sometimes it can take a bit longer.

MurryCod - at your friend's leaving by 7:45 after all that incredible cooking! My taste buds are jumping just reading about it (I'm a bit food obsessed atm). I love vindaloo curry mmmm. Must. Stop. Thinking. About. It. Bummer. Hope you had a few glasses of wine with your DH afterwards and scoffed the rest. But still!

Crafty - Don't give up yet - honestly, we give ourselves such a hard time over birthdays and they become really significant to us, but it's not like you'll get to your birthday in 9 days and suddenly be less fertile than you were six months ago! It's a slow change and you're still in with a chance, you're still ovulating, so please stay positive. IKWYM about missing your carefree happy self - TTC can weigh so heavily on us that it's like living under a shadow so maybe it's good to give yourself a mental rest from it from time to time to feel stronger. Your little kids sound so cute!

Ferrals - I agree SIVF is v. expensive and it's difficult when you're not in Sydney to go down for all your ultrasounds and blood tests. You don't have to go far away to realise how much more limited services are outside cities it makes me really cross. MurryCod you'd know all about that where you are! Had to laugh about how you met your DH - I met mine on a booze cruise, we had our bonkaversary yesterday (12 years!!)(we've been married for 5). Whenever anyone asks us how we met we say it was the magic of beer!

    MatthewsMum - how are you?

Kit - getting that essay done?

Bons - things OK with your DH away?

Everyone else we haven't heard from in a while. hope you're all having a good weekend.

AFM, I'm obsessed with food, what I can eat, what I can't eat. DH is out doing the shopping now trying to get some food in the house so I can stop being so grumpy. I hope it is worth it! Also charting for the first time in years so I don't know, there's lots to remember - what tablets to have when, what to do when, what to eat. I'm trying to stay positive but woke up this morning feeling really stressed for the first time in ages. I know I have to be patient but it's not one of my finer points!

Anyway, better clean the house up while DH is out. Love to all,

    Alice x

T-hopes - we posted at the same time. Beautiful dream - hope it comes true for you! I had one like that when I was pg, it was so real I didn't want it to end. When I woke up I cried because DH had missed it. We had a little girl and it was the most transforming experience we were just in awe of this little baby. Fingers crossed for you and all the other TWWers. Come on!!

    Morning all,
Please hang on Crafty!!! I know it seems like there isnt hope but you are strong and I know you can do it! Where there is a will there is a way! xxx
Welcome Porsche! everyone is great in here,if you dont mind me asking, why does your DH have to go away? I definetly know what Dh's going away feels like....I have a 5 or 6 week stint coming up mid may......xxx
Ferrals - There is nothing wrong with having a blonde moment! i have them often They provide my DH with hours of laughing, big hugs.
Murraycod - I have always had really bad cramping, I went on the pill at 12 to help it, I hope your bruising goes quickly, i found arnica helped with mine.

Hugs to everyone I missed, crossing my fingers for more BfP's in here, you are all so deserving! xxx

AFM - If one more person says to me "you are young, you have plenty of time" im going to scream lots of obsceneties at them!
I will fill you all in the rest of my medical history - i was found to have lupus(sle) at 14 when i went to see my dr about something else, my levels have gone up and down since then, I had 2 previous mc's before DS, both very early , 4wks and 5w2days, I was told that my chances of conceiving after 30 would be less than 40% without help, but because my body attacks itself the drs couldnt say if I would have very good chances of a H & H pg. With DS I had to take aspirin on a daily basis to help my blood thin and inhibit clots forming in the placenta, but i dont know if that was what happened with last pg, only indication of anything wrong was an oedema on the babys head . Chuck in a retroverted uterus that makes the dildo cam a given for most u/s...and that is me.

Sorry everyone, just having a bad day.
    xxx

Hey girls, I know it must be annoying to hear that over and over, you should see the faces people pull when I tell them I'm 37 and TTC my first! Priceless! Then they realise and pull their faces into a fake smile and say "oh thats ok, you've got plenty of time still...." then they quickly move onto a safer subject hehe!

Well, I'm just waiting for AF, no spotting at all yesterday, didn't feel like I was UTD cos boobies are soft and not even sore anymore but did a POAS anyway (BONS I blame you for suggesting it ) BFN of course. DH caught me crying in the toilet and felt sorry for me so took me out for tea and we drank a bottle of wine, I thought sod it! but woke up feeling guilty, and was relieved to see some spotting ( I would never forgive myself if I had been preg and drank just because I was in a sh*tty mood) so maybe she will come a day late tomorrow, just hurry up please so I can start again!

Ferals and Mildez- I am putting off starting IVF too, mainly because I want to prove I can do it myself first but also b/c we are sorting out a mortgage at the moment and money is tight, the cost of IVF is scaring me a bit.

All you TWWers hang in there and hope for lots of good news soon, to everyone feeling down, big hugs to you.
Porche- welcome I am a newbie here too, I hope you feel lots of love and support here.

Onto the age thing again I looked after a woman at work the other day who just had her first baby at age 44, so we're all in with a chance still!!

    Hi Everyone!

Bit of a downer post for me, sad to see all the lovely people who who deserve and want babies so much! Oh I wish I had a magic wand

Crafty: Hang in there darling, we're all barracking for you!

Ferrals: You done good with the BD'ing babe, and I think it's awesome that you hooked up with your DH on a girls night out! My DH didn't talk to me for the first 6 months we knew each other (we were in a production together, and I was totally in love with him and he chatted with everyone else but me! Very primary school!)

Porsche: Welcome, sorry for what brought you here, but I hope you find some support xo

Saffy: Boo for BFN! Hopefully AF will show up soon, be very kind and the shoof off to not be heard from again for a very long time!

Murraycod: Go on wit your bad self :P Your a crack up love!

I'll be back later to do a better round on persies, just wanted to share (read that as vent, lol). Just went to see the friends who are also TTC (she of the Stupid Comment which almost resulted in wine bath) and guess what? She thinks she's UTD. 10 DPO, sore boobs and nausea. And ringing me in excitment and then crying cos her boobs hurt. I dont have a lot of sympathy. And it hurts more than I thought it would. I'm not sure how I can get through confirmation and then scans and all that with a happy face on. It's just, she says things out of naivete, and now that's she UTD quickly and easily it just confirms that, and places even more of a distance between us. So, yeah. Ouch.

Love to everyone from a Sad Kitfaerie
