HI Everyone,
I havent been on for a while but a big congrats to Tanya and Eloise!!! What a wonderful Christmas present for you and your families!!
To those who were waiting for AF, yay! Glad she made her arrival. And to those who dont want the dreaded visit...... cross fingers she stays away!!
As for me (CD 26), just had a second round of clomid (100mg) but it didnt seem to help me ovulate. I was sure I did (did a few OPT and it indicated a surge) but my progesterone levels were only 4.7 nmol/L. I did notice on my results from when I first started the day 21 blood tests, that my progesterone levels have increased slightly from no clomid to 50mg clomid to 100mg clomid. But still it's obviously not enough. Does anyone know what the levels should be? I have now got a referal to another FS in Wollongong who can help me further (:crossfingers:). I know it's a long shot, but has anyone had dealings with Dr Chris James in Wollongong? I would love to hear from anyone who has! I am also going to try vitex/herbs over the holiday period and following months, hoping that may help regulate my cycles.

morning everyone, well it was test day today, day 32,bfn,what am i doing wrong, off to see my councillor this morning, and see my fs friday,he has already told me 'no more clomid'and because it's been a year ttc he would do more tests maybe they'll be an answer in them, who knows
-
Matthew'sMum sorry this was not your month, I know how hard things can feel right now, never ending uphill battle XX
I hope your FS on Friday can shed some light, and work out a plan for you for the new year XXX
Starting the month over can seem a frustrating and long wait X I hope that a lovely christmas can make it go by a little quicker for you XX

Afternoon ladies
Looppylouie-Not sure i can help with the clomid and Progesterone levels but when i first started my ivf cycle my progesterone level on day 1 of my cycle was 4 and that was normal and then it went up with each blood test so if that was your level on day 21 it is definately low has your FS recomended crinone surpositories (progesterone supplmemt) for the 2nd half of your cycle just about every women is put on it after ivf as there E2 gets so high they give the crinone to balance the hormones out.
Mathewsmum-sorry it was a BFN this month i hope you can get some answers from your FS.
Hello to everyone i havn't mentioned.
AFM-Thanks for the well wishes on our upcomming wedding on saturday.
I was confident that the ivf diddnt mess up my hormones but this morning i had red spotting and have had it every time i have been to to loo i have never had mid cycle spotting it might be because we have had some rough BDing the last 2 days (sorry to much info) but now i am worried that it is going to stuff up any chances of me getting pregnant on the positive side i have a really strong positive on my opk and full ferning on my maybe baby.
anyway has anyone had spotting at ovulation time and still fallen pregnant.
-
Hi MurrayCod,
Thanks for asking about me. I do have a belly now. Still feeling nervous about things but just doing one day at a time. Im sure the worry never ends! I will be 18 weeks on thursday and hanging out for our scan on christmas eve. Not long to wait.
I wish you all the best for your IVF journey next year. Im glad you can go to Mildura and dont have to go to Adelaide or Melb.
Big hellos to everyone else. Im sorry to see some ladies are out for this year but its great to see the BFP's starting to roll in again. Next year will be full of BFPs for everyone!!
I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas and New Year break. Stay safe!
-
Hi ladies!
WOW!! GREAT to come in and see BFP'S!!!! :hooray: congratulations girls, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!! :D
Hi everyone, hope you are all well even if no bfp's happening :)
I am doing reeeeally great! No bfp here, Im just coming into my fertile time and not too concerned with TTC at the moment. We're relaxing as much as possible about it until we start IUI's in feb so if if happens that will be great but we're enjoying sex again like we're meant too, not scheduling it and leaving me feeling flat and stressed..
Cant remember when i temped last...was the cycle before last...I havent spent money on tests etc and Im saving that way hehe
Im feeling alot more comfortable about my friend who is pregnant, due in 7 weeks, before I took our break I was soooo bitter about anyone who fell pregnant and It was making me a miserable cranky unsociable person to be around.
Im enjoying myself, going swimming at the baths at the beach, sunbaking, running around as much as my bum knee will let me *i hurt it at work on oct7* and Im getting in to the renovating, gardening, hammock lazing...christmas!! I was really upset about not having a bfp to share with the family as a gift, but Im trying to focus on positive stuff...
It's amazing that after giving my mind and body a "proper" break, how much I am greatful for and how much I can just enjoy things I should have been enjoying before.
Im still bummed about it all but 100% more optimistic IYKWIM..
Hoping you all have a great christmas and can share some lovin without any tears.
Thinking of you, my angels, my saviours, ALWAYS!
Eliza xx

WOW I should come over here more often! Congratulationis to the lovely eliselouise :stork-girl: :stickyvibesgirl:

Hi ladies,
just a quick pop in - I don't get on line much, so sorry for the lack of persies, too many posts to catch up on, but very quickly...
CONGRATS ElsieLouise!! YAY!!
Hi Coco! glad things are ok with you :)
Murraycod - sounds like its all happening! :)
sorry to all the ladies that AF decided to visit :(
hello to all the other ladies here!!
AFM - super tear-jerky hormomes (AKA clomid) now finished and we're in the middle of "shag fest" so I can't type for long, as I have to get dinner ready, so when DH comes home I can jump his bones right away as he has a very early start tomorrow
-
Hi girls
I know it's been ages and I have popped in from time to time to see how you are all going. I felt I had to write something this time and say
Huge Congratulations Eliselouise :happyforyou: That is such fantastic news it's totally made my day, I so had a feeling this was your month.
Also Ferrals heaps of best wishes for the wedding lets hope it is just the start of amazing things to come.
AFM I am due for my second IUI on about the 19th hopefully. I am still clinging to the hope of a BFP as the psychic said I'd be pregnant by Christmas.
Hello to all my old BB friends (and the girls I don't know so well) I hope you have lovely Christmas' and the 2010 brings truck loads of BFPs.
-
afternoon all ,murraycod,ferrals&madison-thanks...scarypinkfairy-sorry to hear your cycles are mixed up,you'll get there...juleswa-glad all is well....Eliselouise-look forward to your updates...loopy louie-fs had uped my clomid to 150,they might think that could me an option for you to,i've heard clomid can interfere with opk kits but fs still wanted me to use them...coco-good to hear from you...cherished-how are you?..milly-good luck...sunbeam-hope the psyhic is right,be looking for your updates...craftmummy-are you holding out so far...afm-concillor i see gave me some brochures to read about iui, icsi &ivf haven't had much of a chance to lok at them though as when i came home sil rang with bad news about bil, been in a nursing home for a while now,he took a turn for the worst and family was told basically to say their goodbyes,so spent a lot of time in there today, their giving him morpheine so he was asleep a lot..my dd2 said he'll be with 'Matthew 'now
-
Evening all
Matthewsmum sorry to hear the news about you BIL, that is horrible. I hope you all have plenty of love and support around at the moment
Sunbeam its so good to hear from you, how have you been? I see its 5 days till testing, hopefully santa can bring you a BFP for xmas.
Murraycod thankyou so much for your kind words while in here and let me tell you ill be missing you guys an awful lot as well. This forum and TTC has been my life for the past 12 months and its going to be hard to leave you all behind, but dont worry you will be all joining me very soon in the PAML thread, i can just feel it.
milly good luck with the shagfest :D
Cherished so good to hear from you hunny, hopefully you can get a BFP for xmas and we can be belly buddies again, wishing you all the best of luck
Coco glad to see that things are going well for you and that your more relaxed, hopefully it will just happen now with no added stress
Maddison 18 weeks wow that time has flown, enjoy your scan on xmas eve and have a lovely new year
Ferals cant help you with the bleeding at ovulation time, havent had it happen before but hopefully your cycles arent too messed up
Craftmummy thankyou, i tested and got BFP on day 24 of 24 day cycle, didnt expect it at all so was a nice surprise
AFM got blood test results this morning, BHCG is 44 so only 2 weeks at the most which fits right with when i would have ovulated, so now a long nervous wait ahead but will be all worth it in the end
Take care everyone and ill definately still be lurking to see all those BFP's real soon :)
-
Morning ladies just a quickie.
Sunbeam-good to hear from you i was thinking about you last week hope you get a BFP in a few days
Milly  you sound just like me my DH does 12 hour shifts in sydney and gets home about 8:30 when on day shift so i have dinner ready his next days uniforms and lunch done so when he gets home he can eat and than i can jump his bones i told him if he is tired to grab a redbull on the way home the things we will have to tell our babies on their 21st ( how much trouble we went to to have them )
Coco-i am so happy you are doing ok i still have slight issues with pregnant people too i try to avoid what i can just makes it easier on me.
AFM- the spotting has stopped i know it was from being to rough sex on demand can be demanding LOL iykwim and i think my lining might still be a bit fragile so i think this month will not be to promising but got to be in it to catch that tricky little egg and tonight should be the last night we need to BD as i snagged DH sat, sun, mon, tue and will today so then i will be in the TWW.
-
Snuggly - Aw I'm sorry to hear AF came after you started to get your hopes up. i was really hoping this was your month
Elouise - Hooray! Congratulations! I was almost as excited to see your BFP as I was to see my own. I'm seriously thrilled for you. I knew those symptoms looked good!
To those of you who are out this month I'm really sorry, and to those of you still waiting to test I'm sending you as many good luck vibes as I can. I'm anxiously awaiting somor more good news in time for Christmas.
Things are going ok for me. Still suffering from really bad M/S but at least it comes and goes now and I have some periods of relief. I just past the 8 week mark and have started telling everyone as I can't keep it in any longer. Looking forward to my first U/S on the 30th.
-

sorry you got a BFN goodluck next year ,
Eliselouise great BT results bring on the MSickness then you know your ok !
Ferrals I don't know where you get your energy from think I need some of your energy as I couldn't manage a shagfest maybe the vitex is the reason I don't feel like it as much as I used to bit of a problem when your TTC !
AFM well I caved yesterday and got a BFN but it was day 26 and I know I ovulated around day 15 so maybe too early but not holding out any hope just waiting for AF to show up,
Guess its next year for me too now !

-
ooopppsss and congrats tanya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Morning-well i am in TWW i am not geting my hopes up this month as i do think all the hormones last month mucked me up a bit with the spotting i was also dry as a bone at ovulation time to the point of gravel rash ( sorry TMI ) proberbly from the crinone sup ( progesterone) so i will put this month down to a practice run after the long wait anyway i am due to test on new years eve so we will see if my DH sperm is super sperm and could swim through my poor, dry, gravel rashed over used sore v jay jay LOL.
Hey Zstar-26 weeks already! i am annoyed that i had to waste all those months waiting for the PGD IVF i could be walking around with a belly too anyway we had to give it a try otherwise we would had said we should have tried it and regretted it later on down the track so i am now praying it happens before i get to old my cut off is 37 so i have 16 months so snag a healthy bub glad all is well with you.
Craftmummy-sorry you got a BFN yesterday maybe a bit early i will cross my fingers for you.
Mathewmum-i am tired this BDing on demand is not real fun i told DH no more sex until we are so ##### we can't stand it and want to rip each others clothes off ( he he that won't be long ) maybe our wedding night.
Hello to the ladies i have missed i will have a break from BB over the weekend so i hope when i get back i see some BFP's
-

-
Hi ladies, hope you don't mind me jumping in. Ive just joined this site today so not really sure as to what I do?!? Anyway DS and I are TTC again after a missed m/c in Sept and Im due for AF on Christmas eve with a 35 day cycle. My cycle has been pretty regular since D&C. Im mrs impatient though and have been testing for the last 7 days... needless to say they have all been BFN  Im still struggling so much with our loss and everytime AF arrives it just rubs salt into the wound.
I know its still early but am starting to lose hope... I miss our tiny little angel so much and we are just praying that we will be blessed with a BFP for Christmas.
Is anyone due for AF around Christmas time and struggling... it just dominates my thoughts, friends keep telling me to relax - I wonder how this is possible?!
Thanks for listening :(
-
T-hope welcome to BB and I am so sorry to hear about your angel and joining this thread but everyone on here is so supportive and helpful and can relate to some of the feelings we go through after a pregnancy loss. Best of luck I will pray you get a BFP for a Christmas present.
Hello to everyone else!
-
T-Hopes Darling I am so so sorry for the loss you guys have suffered, it is never easy, and I don't think we ever fully recover from it.
I am so glad that you have found us crazy girls here on the BB site, Welcome with open arms XXXX
You will find loads of support from the girls, post anytime and vent whenever you need to, it all helps X
I misscarried in March. and still each time i get AF I feel completely hopeless and sometimes find (mabey a lot) jealous when friends fall PG around me...it still hurts.
I won't lie and tell you things get easier because I don't think they do, I just find more reasons to smile everyday, more than I did the day before.
Anyways i won't ramble on, welcome to BB XX I hope that you stay and share your journey with us, and I hope that we can in some way make it a little easier XXXXX
Hi Emmy !! X
-
Hi Ladies!
just taking a quick break from shagging LOL.
sunbeam - hello! I was wondering how you were doing. Here's hoping the psychic was right and you get that BFP for christmas.
Matthwes mum - hugs.
I cant remember now who was talking about hormone levels - but here goes. Get your FS to check your thyroid. THyroid is the "master" hormone (controls all others), my thryroid was low, and it was making all my "girlie hormones" low, esp progesterone.
Ferrals - you are not too old, I am older than you!! I'm already 37 and still trying for no 1! Oh and the TTC sex - does me in too, at the end of the week my cookie puts up a "no entry" sign for at least a fortnight!
crafty mummy - still 2 days to go!
murray cod - ;)
t-hopes - sorry you have had to join this thread. Here's hoping you won't stay long and get your BFP. I know what you mean about AF, its such an awful reminder. hugs.
oops, better get back to it LOL
-
hi everyone,T-hopes-I'm very sorry for the loss of your little one,i know it's hurt's so much, hugs,Hope af stays away and christmas brings you another bfp, keep us updated...milly-thanks,i'll put the throid on my list of ? to ask fs...afm-be back later after seen fs,hopefully he'll be able to do something with this old body of mine...
-
Thanks so much ladies... I wish I'd joined this site months ago! Can't tell you how much your kind words help! Just wondered your thoughts on something else too - last night I noticed the tiniest bit of pink discharge when I went to the toilet, it was day 28 of my cycle, never ever has this happened to me b4, I wonder if it could be implantation bleeding?? I have had period like pains this morning though I would be shocked it I got my period this early as Im a 35d cycle! Havent had a period in a 28d cycle since I was on the pill many years ago! I havent had anymore of that discharge since? Weird! I guess if AF doesnt arrive in the next 24 hrs it could be a good sign?? I resisted from POAS this morning, maybe Sunday I will again!
Thanks again xx
-
T.hope I pray for you its a little implant bleed. Best of luck. I hope you get a BFP in time for Christmas!
-
T-Hope I usually have a cycle B/W 32-35 days and seem to ovulate on CD21, so If is the case for you, it very well could be implantation bleed hun! I have heard that with implantation you feel crampiness too, so best of luck!! Oh and WAAAAY to early to test:lol:
Get your other half to hide that PeeStick somewhere in the house where you wont be able to find it!!:lol
Matthew'sMum hope the FS visit goes well :crossfingers:
Hi to everyone!!!XXX
AFM, I have an appt at Mildura Repromed to pick up all of my injectables and meds Monday morning...soooo excited to have them in my fridge!!!!
And have organised to have all of my scans done in Mildura so I don't have to travel to Adelaide every few days for them, don't know exactly how many I am meant to have yet, but I will find out all of that sort of stuff on Monday. So looks like I won't have to go to Adelaide Repromed untill eggpickup in early Jan!!!:D More cash for Xmas!!!
My current project ATM, is nagging and harassing my poor DH to buy me a treadmill for Xmas. It is something I will be able to use during my IVF treatment, and after (esp if I am UTD)!!! I put on a few kilo's over the 3 months I was doing IUI, and I don't want to blow up like a baloon doing IVF.
I can't walk down the river with my dogs now because there are campers on every bend, some with big scary dogs that run at me when they see me walking in the distance and it scares me, not to mention the 1meter psycopathic Goanna I stumbled across yesterday.....man did I Sh*T my panties!!
-
Hi Ladies
T hope welcome to this thread sorry you have to be in here with us all but we have all suffered and are here to help each other along the TTC road however long or short it may be,
Murraycod I have also put on more than a few kilos in the last 4 mnths think I just eat when Im not hungry but a treadmill sounds good if you get one ( I am sure you have hinted enough for him not to ignore you ! ) poor guy we women can knagg when we need to hey !
Matthews mum hope your apt went well spill the beans what did he say ? and your comment about your old body well what about mine 44yrs old and already had more than my share of bubs ! Mine must be totally Kna****ed
everyone else hope your all sorted for chrstmas its only a week away !
AFM well day 29 for me and a BFN again but keep feeling sick think it must be the vitex again as its within an hour or so of taking it in the morning, just waiting AF to show now hope I don't have to wait too long ! want to get on with next months cycle I am not getting any younger !
-
Crafty sorry you got a BFN hun X:comfort:
You know what you said about nagging??....Well I got my treadmill!!!!!:D
-
Hi ladies,
T hopes - could be an implant bleed! fingers crossed!
sorry about the BFN CM - though it aint over yet till the old cow AF arrives!
murray cod - YAY about the treadmill (I love nagging LOL)
AFM - darn clomid! dried my girlie bits WAY too much - had to cut the shag fest short as I could feel the beginnings of a UTI. So I'm now in the 2WW but I really wanted another 2 days of bd, so I'm not feeling confident this month. :(
-
hi again ladies... no good for me ... AF arrived today :crying: 4days early - weird but i guess if im not pregnant Id rather know now than christmas day! its such a roller coaster ride, im up then i just get smashed back down.... thinking of going back to acupuncture... i was doing it when i fell pregnant last time, maybe it will help! xx
-
evening everyone-muraycod-thanks for your update, sounding good...craftymummy-sorry about bfn, nearly sorted for chrissy kids keep adding things to their lists...milly-sorry the clomid being a pain, sound like your still in with a good chance though,fs looked up some previous tests and thinks if it was thyriod probs it would of been indicate in them, thanks anyway...t-hopes-sorry af turned up,acupunture sounds good,fs has given me the green light to have some too...okay afm-next step for me is a tubal patency(check for tube blockages)&pelvic ultrasound in one of the sydney hospitals,af being a pain cycle day36 and not here yet,bfn still, checked yesterday, thing is i have to have the tubal test,day8,9or10 and with public holidays coming up,if af doesn't co-operate i'm going to have to wait till next cycle because they'll be shut, while waiting for test to be done fs wants be to try naturally as he said i need a break from clomid ,but before we do ivf he wants be to have 2 more cycles of clomid,so 2 cycles natural,2 cycles clomid, then start ivf
-
Murraycod ! yay for nagging gets us what we want ( anything for a quiet life )
I guess you best be on it every day or else you know the comments you will get !
Mattews mum guess im with you this month day 31 for me no AF so waiting and waiting but I guess with chrstmas here the time goes quite quickly not thinking about it too much, Got a bit of a headache today so I guess shes on her way I always get a bad headache the run up to AF visiting,
Well girls enjoy your day and lets hope next year will be full of BFPs for us !
-
Afternoon all, looks like i'll be able to have the tests done in between crissy and new year as af has arrived...
-
Matthew's Mum pleased AF arrived for you at a time when you can still arrange the HSG test obviously a BFP would have been more welcome. Hope the HSG helps make the BFP come very soon so you can avoid IVF. I am hoping for the same. 5 cycles to go before we start. Please let it be.
T-hopes sorry AF arrived. On a positive note atleast the witch will be gone for Christmas or almost of you have a long AF. And then you can concieve a NewYears baby. They always say their is something in the water at NewYears (must be alcoholic) as where I work the most babies are born Septemeber/October and were concieved at NewYears. FX for all of us that this wait for another BFP is almost over.
craftymummy9 hope a BFP shows itself intime for Christmas.
AF has finally left my building so to speak so the wait is on for some fertile signs. Another week I guess.
-
T-hopes
It's such a hard journey - sorry you've joined the rest of us on it.
The TCC can do your head in, and as you you're finding out its all consuming but amongst the heartbreak there are some amusing moments - like the shag fest going on in some households!
I was so hoping it was implantation bleeding for you.
Mine was particularly mixed this time around, so desperately wanting BFP but so relieved because of some medication I'd taken which if I'd had BFP I know I would have been scared of its effects on bubs. The pregnancy journey after loss is hard enough without the extra burden of worries about the effects of medication on bubs. So the end result for me, I am relieved at the BFN but sad too.
Mathew's Mum - hey good news about the testing. Tubal patency, at least for me wasn't too bad,the proceedure and the results! I had a hysterosalpingo-contrast-sonography (HyCoSy). Although there are other procedures. I was told "it's like a grease and oil change" for your tubes, and apparently increases chances of pregnancy for about 6 months following the test. I am yet to see those results, but fingers crossed for you. I didn't have too much discomfort during or after, although of course there's no dignity with your naf on show for a fair while. If you can get them to issue you separate accounts for the procedure and the levovist, as medicare refunds on the procedure but not the levovist but your healthfund, might. Every dollar counts! Here's one of the better explanations of the options I've found on the web:- Specialist Women's Ultrasound.
Good luck. Lots of baby dust to you all.
-
thanks Emmy83 - yeah I should be ovulating New Years Day! Ive been really off alcohol since our loss but thought bugger it - im gunna get drunk on New Yrs eve and murphys law says we'll conceive lol! Ive been doing everything by the book but every where i look there is all these young slappers with babies and I bet they didnt do anything by the book yet they still conceive - doesnt make sense!
If we conceive next month Id be due on Grand Final day! My husband was so excited - were Saints supporters and he thinks that its a sign and hoping we have a baby that day and the Saints finally win another grand final! lol!
Emmy sorry to ask but you said you have to wait 5 more cycles till you can try again? did you have ectopic? here I am complaining that its not working for me and you poor love having to wait that time - you must be very frustrated... xx
thanks again everyone else for your support!
