TTCaLC - that sucks. Sucks for you, sucks for your DH, sucks for the kids. Sounds like a lawyer-fest and that's only ever good for lawyers. If they have warrants why don't they enact them? Sorry, you must be so frustrated and angry. Hope it gets resolved quick smart and you get to bring those children home soon.
New To This - thank you and welcome. I'm sorry for the loss that has brought you here and I hope you'll find support here that you need. Lovely women, every one of them, and they understand. Good luck with the return to work. Will be v. tough having that pg in close quarters but hopefully you'll be on your way again soon and can share in the ups and downs of that wonderful journey. Take care.
Mildez - thank you and I'm sorry you have a cousin due the same day, 'cause even though you love them that would still be tough. I'm a bit shocked about the insensitivity among the midwives and I agree they should have a better understanding. Surely they could do something lovely to celebrate the happy news while respecting and supporting and caring for you and the other midwife who have been through this awful grief and loss? It amazes me frankly how oblivious some people are, how lacking in care for others. The counselor I saw today was talking to me about how little acknowledgment there can be for loosing a baby and she recommended looking into online forums because there was a lot of support there. Lucky for me, I'd already found you all
Ric - how are you going?
Kit, MatthewsMum, MissK - thank you x Kit, sorry you have been crying a lot lately - good on you for looking toward a new start and I hope that BFP pounces on you!
Ferrals - if you hold your nose while you drink it does it still taste bad?? The 'juice' our naturopath concocted for us was vile. Think of it this way - the more yuck it is, the more good it must be doing
Hello to everyone else - Crafty, SarahRach, Jahazra, Snugglybean, Dory, cuppy, Sunbeam, Iona Macca, SammyP, Kirsten, and anyone missed sorry x
AFM - I had my first session with the counselor today and it was good. She said a few things that have stuck with me - that everything I'm going through is normal (nice to be reminded esp. after yesterday's melt down), that I need to treat myself as if I were my own best friend, and that each grief experience is different because each time we experience one we are different, but that they link to past grief experiences which can make it harder. All wise and reassuring. I'm glad I am going.
Hope the weekend is fine for everyone - no more snow OS and some more sunshine/rain here depending on where you are. Looking forward to some POAS action this week from our testers - good luck everyone xx
