Babymiracles - You are in my thoughts and prayers, try not to lose hope. Bleeding and cramping can also be completely normal in pregnancy. I know you must be so scared, wish there was something I could do or say to ease your anxiety.
Sending you all the  and stickyvibes I can fit on the one post......:stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy: :stickyvibesboy: :stickyvibesboy:

jackjack - I always get some twinges around ovulation time, but there not usually bad pains.
meh - Thanks for the suggestion. I know what you mean about how overwhelming everything relating to the bushfires has been. As selfish as it seems, I've had to switch off the telly because I can't bear hearing all those stories. The support that has come out of it though is just as overwhelming, but in a good way. Thinking of you hun. Keep safe!
jen - I've thought of another thing to add to the "you know you're dedicated to BB when" list: When DH uses the words "baby dancing" when asking if you're in the mood. I can't remember if was already on the list or not.
babymiracles - You're in my thoughts and prayers too. I'm  that it isn't over. :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy:
-
babymiracles - Try not to lose hope hun  I've had brown spotting, cramps and symptoms coming and going in the first tri this pregnancy, and all is OK so far. Can you go and have a scan and/or bloods done tomorrow to ease your mind at all? I know how much I panicked this first time I had the spotting, both DH and I were convinced it was over too :( Massive hugs to you, that everything is OK.
xxoo

Thanks so much Hannah and Megsmum
I have a scan booked for wednesday and doubt they will let me have one any earlier (based on my experiences last time) but i might go in tomorrow morning and see if they will do a blood test . So far it hasn't progressed so tiny bit of hope - but it is so similar to how it started off last time it is very hard to remain optimistic. Thanks so much for you thoughts and kind words. Will let you know how I get on
-
thank you all for the kind welcomes and understanding words.. it is soooo nice to be able to be surrounded by people who understand.. that is not something i have out here in real life as not a single one of my friends have ever experienced a m/c... something I am soooo glad about as I know the pain is just too much to bare, but it is also hard not having anyone around you who understands. all my friends are more like, you have sex, you get preg and then 9 months later wolah - baby... if only we could all be like that.. but i like to think that we who have experienced them... we experience them because we have the strength to keep going and to come out the other end, maybe not unscathed but we come out the other end all the same - so it is our strength that sets us apart... sounds stupid probably - but that is just something which has helped me.
babymiracles... i am  for you and I truely hope that it all works out for you this time around. Im sorry, I don't know your background but it seems to me like you deserve a happy ending. with my last preg i didn't have any symptoms at all throughout the whole pregnancy and it was going text book perfect till the day i had the m/c. (oh, except the spotting... but i have come to think that it just may be part of it for me)... the lack of symptoms may be nothing at all.. and light cramping could just be stretching which your body needs to do to make a bit of room for baby ;) so try not to worry.... and so long as the cramping is not intense and the spotting isn't bright red I am sure everything will be fine :)
well.. I am still cruising along. 6 days till AF is due and I am really going to try to hold out till at least then to test. I have not been known for my patience.... so i guess we will see how i go with that. I have still had some spotting and here and there. there hasn't been any today... but mind you there was some last night after a bd session (sorry if tmi - valentines day romp :P lol) so now I am scared to bd just in case... *sigh*
I noticed that I am looking "veinier" on my boobs, chest and arms... and my face is really oily and has broken out more... which is yuk.. but I am hoping it is all for good reason. Mind you I have not had an increase in cm yet... so still not holding my breath.... so I guess it is just the waiting game - damn this 2ww
hope everyone else is well xx

For Toccara, HannahD, Mel--anyone not already blessed with children, and wondering....
Can You Be A Mother When Your Baby Is Not With You? ~
I thought of you and closed my eyes
And prayed to God today
I asked "What makes a Mother?"
And I know I heard Him say.
"A Mother has a baby"
This we know is true
"But God can you be a Mother,
when your baby's not with you?"
"Yes, you can," He replied
With confidence in His voice
"I give many women babies,
When they leave is not their choice.
Some I send for a lifetime,
And others for the day
And some I send to feel your womb,
But there's no need to stay."
"I just don't understand this God
I want my baby to be here."
He took a deep breath and cleared His throat,
And then I saw the tear.
"I wish I could show you,
What your child is doing today.
If you could see your child's smile,
With all the other children and say..."
We go to earth to learn our lessons,
Of love and life and fear,
My mummy loved me oh so much,
I got to come straight here.
I feel so lucky to have a Mum,
Who had so much love for me
I learned my lessons very quickly
My mummy set me free.
I miss my mummy oh so much
But I visit her every day.
When she goes to sleep,
On her pillows were I lay
I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek,
And whisper in her ear
Mummy don't be sad today,
I'm your baby and I'm here."
"So you see my dear sweet ones,
Your children are okay.
Your babies are born here in My home
And this is where they'll stay."
"They'll wait for you with Me,
Until your lessons through.
And on the day that you come home
they'll be at the gates for you.
So now you see what makes a Mother,
It's the feeling in your heart
It's the love you had so much of
Right from the very start.
Though some on earth may not realize
You are a mother.
Until their time is done.
They'll be up here with Me one day
and know that you are the best one
Sorry mods... came across this today, and my thoughts went straight to those who've struggled with the thoughts that because they haven't been blessed with earth-bound angels, they somehow aren't considered a mom. I strongly believe that you become a mom at conception, whether the pregnancy is successful or not! So this is for all you girls! :grouphug:
babymiracles--This is for you, as well, but I felt weird listing your name with the others.... I wanted to make sure there wasn't any confusion with your current pg'cy.... IYKWIM. I have hope and faith that everything is going to be ok for you! Saying lots of  and sending you an unlimited supply of :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy: I definitely think you should try to get in before Wed. for a scan--if only for your peace of mind! I'm sure this will be repetitive and completely unhelpful, but try to remain calm... stay strong and don't lose faith... I know, yadda... yadda...yadda... but just try, ok?

You know you're addicted to BB when:
1. You sign a 2-year contract and pay $60 more per month just to have wireless internet service for a 5 day camping trip!
2. Your significant other walks in on you checking the position of your cervix, and actually gets turned on from it!
3. You resort to becoming an adult film industry advocate in order to "keep things alive" during those fertile times!
4. You read, post, and then refresh to read again in case you missed a post while posting!
5. You dream of being the first to post in the new thread!
6. You feel like you are wasting urine when you don't pee on a stick!
7. You see abbreviations in everyday life and try to work out what they mean in the TTC world (eg. DVD must stand for something like "Doing the vjay vjay dance"...)
8. When you get excited about choosing a new ticker....oh the choices!!!!!
9. You actually think in emoticons and abbreviations...and occasionally call your husband DH....and he says, "what the hell did you call me????".
10. And the biggest one of all....DH actually asks if it was a light or dark "BFP" and whether or not you used "FMU" to test!!!! (all in abbreviations...)
11. When getting a coverline makes you so happy, you feel as though you won the lottery! :hooray:
12. When you look forward to going to bed just so you can wake up in the morning and add a new temp!
13. You say you are taking a break from bb and then spend 24 hours trying to do anything but log on, including cleaning, washing, ironing, shopping, all the while saying to yourself don't do it don't do it don't do it before finally breaking down and getting your bb fix...
14. You drag yourself out of bed at 6 am every morning even though you're still tired, just to have "quiet alone time" on BB while the kids are still sleeping! :shhh:
15. You get the butterflies while logging on to read posts!
16. You keep your computer on all day long so you know as soon as someone has made a post!
17. You know you are addicted to BB when you go to put the date on something and you end up writing 9 DPO! lol...
18. You're whole day is ruined just because you can't log onto BB, and you feel like you're going to go insane without it! :computer:
19. You climb a slide and drive up the tallest hills at your camp spot trying to find a signal so your laptop will work! lol...
20. You bring your laptop to the drive-in with you so you can check on posts in between shows!
21. You check your chart at least every half hour, because what if somehow it changed?
22. You wake up at 2:30 in the morning to use the toilet, and contemplate logging on to see if there's any good news that can't wait until morning!
23. You wake up at 3 a.m. and have to pee so bad, but you know you'll wake up at 6, so you hold it for three more hours so that you don't ruin your temp!
24. You toss and turn every morning waiting for it to be time to take your temp!
25. When DH comments that he's your family, not the girls on BB! (What does he know, anyway? )
26. You sign on from your mobile phone to let off some steam!
27. You post 3 times in a row, and twice was just because you ran out of smilies!!!
28. When you're reading and typing posts in your dreams!
29. When sitting on the couch watching TV, you position yourself so that you can see the computer screen so you know as soon as a message pops up! Not only that, but you end up watching the computer screen more than the TV!
30. You run to check posts during an ad break of a show you're watching, then an hour later you realize you missed the end of your show!
31. When new smilies make you smilie!!
32. When you stop a movie during the sex scene because it reminds you to check BB!
33. When you burn your dinner because you're too busy checking your posts! D'oh!
34. When you begin stalking people's charts and keeping up with their BD stats!
35. When you've got more than one (3) fertility charts--just to make sure you really know what's going on with your cycle!
36. When you feel jealous that your kids are on your computer taking up your BB time!!
37. When class is about to start and you're quickly typing away at the back on the computer, hoping the kids don't see what you are typing!!
38. When the chat room makes you feel like a kid in a candy store! *moo*, *meow*, *evil* lol...
39. When you wish the week away, not so the weekend comes, but so you can catch up with all your fav girlies in Friday Chat!
40. When your DH uses the term 'baby dancing' when asking if you're in the mood!
41. When something exciting happens in your life, and your first thought isn't "Ooh, I'm going to go home and tell my family!".... it's "Ooh, I'm going to log on and tell the girls!"

jackjack--I've also found that since my m/c, I get pain when I O. I can't ever remember knowing when I was going to O... I don't recall there ever being any indication... now I always know when I'm O'ing because I get really bad pains--mine always on my left. Curious, huh?
I'm wondering, for those that have experienced blocked tubes and didn't know it, did you have pain during O on a particular side (i.e. the side that was blocked?)?
During some research on thyroid I read of one test, commonly administered after 2 or more m/c's, called an HSG.... they insert dye into the cervix, then take an x-ray to see if you have a blocked tube. One of the potential causes of a blocked tube is a history of ruptured appendix--which I had when pg with DS1. Another, more obvious cause, is not having a D&C after m/c, leaving leftover tissue.... I only ever had 1 D&C, and that was back in '95 after my blighted ovum. They say if one of your tubes are blocked... well, here, I'll just post the link so you can read... it's interesting, and who knows, maybe it will help someone solve a problem they didn't even know they had! I'm going to ask my dr. when I go in for my pap on Mar. 6 ( yes, I have to have a pap on my b-day! )
Blocked Fallopian Tubes - What Are Blocked Fallopian Tubes
HannahD--Hmmm... cooking your fave meal for yourself is a nice gesture, but I don't think that's what your dr. had in mind! Cooking is work... you're supposed to do something nice for yourself that doesn't require work!! Something that's ALL for YOU--where you're getting spoiled and pampered by someone else!! Big  for you! Oh, and thanks for your addition to the addicted list!
meh--Sorry to hear your attention deflecting attempts backfired! The same thing happens to me! Maybe it's a sign that we need to put more effort towards making ourselves feel better, as well! Hope you're staying safe--you're in my thoughts and

Hi Jen - Thanks for the poem
As for the blocked fallopian tube I can answer your question (based on my experience) after just finding out I had one ;)
Have a bit to say (how unusual? -) and need to get ready for work so I will be back later to write to you.
Sorry, just wanted to let you know that I can tell you of my experience (not sure if that will be helpful). I am telling everyone to have their tubes checked if you never had a D&C. I was extremely lucky I never suffered an etopic pg or an infection because of it.
Babymiracles -
-
Mel--Well, aren't you just a big tease? :nahnah: j/k... look forward to hearing what you have to say!
-
jen - Thanks so much for sharing that poem. Its beautiful...and so true! I didn't think that cooking would get past you. It may seem silly, but this doing something nice for myself is a lot harder than it sounds.
babymiracles - Thinking of you hun.
-
Jen - Thanks for the poem, me thinks I may have to read it properly when I am not at work and likely to smudge my make up
Also just have to add:
13. You say you are taking a break from bb and then spend 24 hours trying to do anything but log on, including cleaning, washing, ironing, shopping, all the while saying to yourself don't do it don't do it don't do it before finally breaking down and getting your bb fix...
HA I don't know how many times I have done this one ;)

Thanks so much ladies for your wonderful support and for those precious sticky vibes. Think they may have helped me out. Went in for a blood test this morning with a bit of hope in my heart (as brown/pink discharge - sorry for TMI) stopped last night and didn't yet progress. After a very anxious wait got the results and there is definately still hope - hcg 80 000. Now hopefully can relax a little more till my scan which is booked for wed afternoon . Thanks again you wonderful ladies :grouphug:
HannahD - thanks for your thoughts sweetie. How are you doing? Hope you are booking in today for a lovely massage or spa treatment - you cannot go back to doc not having done your homework properly!!
Jen: thanks for that beautiful poem and for you thoughts and positive energy - it means a lot and nice to have such lovely friends on here helping to keep me sane. Love the list too and can relate to a few too many of those I am afraid
Boble :welcome: and I am so sorry for your loss and that you need to be here. Thank you for your support - it shows what a wonderful person you are to be able to give support to someone you have only just met when you are going through so much yourself   that this is the cycle for you
Megsmum: your words were an incredible support. gee I am starting to think we are very similar in many ways. Hope all is going well for you and not too long till next OB appts
Mel: thanks so much honey. Hope you are doing well and are all recovered. Giving me your limit of sticky vibes on one post did the trick I think ;)
Ok big hugs to everyone else on this site. Don't think I am up for any more persies as feeling a bit emotionally drained. Thanks again everyone and hope to come back on wed night with some good news

meh- Stay safe over there. Everyone is in my prayers.
Babymiracles- You are in my thoughts and prayers! Try to stay positive. Sending you all my sticky vibes!
Jen- That poems had me in tears. Thank you so much for sharing it! How are you doing?
Everyone else sending loads of baby dust and sticky vibes!
-
Hi everyone!
First up.....
babymiracles - Sooooo glad to hear that you had the BT done, and those are excellent results! I'd say you are more than entitled to hold on to plenty of hope  Glad to be able to help too, now I have been there and I just know the feeling of horror when you see bleeding of any kind believe me I can sympathise :( Funny how when I was pg wth DD and all naive about m/c I never had any bleeding, and now that I am not anymore I go and have it this time  But I think the fact that it hasn't gotten any worse is a really good sign, I have had 2 lots, the first at 6.5 wks and second at 9 wks and both times it happened and then gradually eased up and stopped. With my last m/c the spotting started and gradually increased over a day before we found out the bad news, so it was similar but different KWIM? Heaps and heaps of good luck for your scan on Wed!!
Jen - What a great poem, so lovely of you to share it and I couldn't agree with the sentiment more!
meh - Thinking of you! Stay safe and well.
boble and mrzbaby - Hi and welcome, I'm so sorry that you have to be here :( but you will find the support here such a help I'm sure, we all understand what you are going through
mrzbaby - Like Jen said, the aftermath of a m/c is just horrible, I was in a daze and devastated for months and full of the same thoughts as Jen described. We lost our last baby at 12 weeks, I had some spotting and went for an u/s only to find that our little one had passed some weeks before. Then had a D&C and waited one month before starting to TTC again - DH and I are no spring chickens! But I do think that you will know when the time is right for you to start TTC again, for me it was straight away, luckily for us we did because it took just over a year and some assistance. Take the time to heal physically and emotionally if you need to, because you will need to be strong to get through another early pregnancy no doubt about it. I have found the first tri of this pregnancy very stressful and I am still having times where I get worried about how things are going. But you can do it and how worth it will it be? Wishing you all the very best  and take care of yourself and DH.
boble - Those symptoms sound promising! Hang in there and hopefully this is the one for you!
Hi to all you other lovely ladies :grouphug: Sorry for being a bit slack with the persies, but I seem to have come down with a cold overnight and have had the grand total of about 2 hours sleep last night because of a blocked nose. Feeling very blah!! today so might go and grab a little nap before I have to get DD from preschool. Hope you are all having a lovely day :)
-
Good afternoon ladies, hope that everybodies week was off to a great start..
Baby miracles so great to hear about your blood test results, that sounds promising! for you that everything is ok.
Hannah, jen and Shortcake thankyou for your kind words, I'm pretty scared that something is wrong it's getting quite painful I'm actually having to sit down when i get the pains. Good news is that the bleeding has stopped- 2 days now! DH is very happy about that! that it stays that way.
And Jen that poem was absolutely beautiful, made me a bit teary but absolutely beautiful
Megsmum- hope you're feeling better soon. rest up
Boble- that you have some good news for us soon and that all those symptoms you've had are for a good reason
Hope everyone is well :grouphug: and lots of :pink-babydust::bluedust:
:stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
Going away to the sunshine coast on saturday and finishing work on wednesday, Cant wait!!
