NaeNae - You're so right. Its so easy to become obsessed about TTC.
Julia - :welcome: I'm so sorry for your losses. It sounds as if you've had a hard road. Feel free to post whenever you're ready and to rant away when you need to. You have come to the right place. The women here are amazingly supportive - you definitely do not have to been alone in this. Goodluck with your TTC journey.
tutmae - Wow! Only 7 weeks to go! Its no wonder your getting anxious to meet your little girl. :bellyrubs: for you and Charlie.
fifi - Hi :bellyrubs: for you and bubs too.
Easha - Goodluck for the u/s on friday.
samandpoppy - Sorry about the OHSS. Sounds awful. Rest up and I hope you start to feel better soon. 12 out of 29 sounds good to me.
Theresa - Thanks so much. I'm glad everything is going well with you and little Lamb. And please don't feel you have to stay away. I personally love being updated.
boble - Sorry AF showed and is being hard on you to boot.
jen - DH bought me some bubble bath today so I have no excuses now. Just need to make the time. How are things with you? Any sign of O yet? :bluedust:
AFM - Today is my angel's EDD. Feeling pretty good considering. I think the last week leading up to it has been worse. DH went out this morning and bought me flowers, bubble bath and supplies to cook me breakfast. (Hasn't left himself anywhere to go for our anniversary next week, has he?). Tonight, I think we're going to the beach to watch the sunset.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Hello from the sad little work/home stuff/small tornado daughter person
Congratulations Polly on a beautiful :bfp: - may it come with confidence and comfort for you.
Jen805 - thank you very much for the :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy: as they are hugely appreciated - I have aimed to try and envision this pg as being completely separate to and different from the last one - but have had a bit of a nasty reminder this last week - was so happy when I hit the 9 wk mark with Little One as I had lost Marley by that point last year - but just before I m/ced last year I picked up a really nasty virus from the kids at school (no funny business going on there just in case you were wondering - teenagers - serious cootie material...) with terrible fever for days and coughing-up-of-lung attempts and I did always wonder if they contributed to what happened with being so run down and tired - and lo and behold - just hit 9 wks and DD and DP both came down with a lovely bug we all played pass the parcel with. It is just an annoying cold but it is amazing how these doubts creep into your head when you feel there are parallels - however slight. It is amazing what a talent your subconscious has for ambushing you even when you feel really good about something.
Easha - I am with you - am a small framed person and am getting a little thin on the ground trying to go camo on the whole - yeah I can hide this until 12 wks scenario!!! Needless to say - DD has already dumped me in it with a few people and DP caves if anyone even ****s an eyebrow in his direction - so far my family are probably the only ones with no idea and that's primarily because they don't live anywhere near us! I don't know who I will have left to tell by the time I get to 12 wks... Roll on the 12 week mark is all I can say!!!
Theresa - so happy to hear about your little one - it is so exciting - enjoy every moment!!!
HannahD - you have done an amazing job of finding so many positives on such an occasion - I don't know that I will be so strong in May.
I always apologise in advance to all of the wonderful women I do not get around to personally mentioning but I wish all our pg ladies a fantastic ongoing experience and am showering :bluedust::grouphug: in all directions on a regular basis - hopefully when I go on maternity leave I may get the chance to arm myself with a notebook and be much better organised for persies ;)
Much love to everyone
Karen van
-
Sorry brain like a sieve and not sure I can really lay it all on the pg yet at this stage...
A couple of things I forgot -
Ruthie - hope everything is going well with you sweeting
Mel - hope you are starting to feel that normalcy is an option again and that the healing fairies are attentive
Meh - hope you are travelling well and that your 'spring cleaning' is progressing to your satisfaction
boble - in relation to your question about AF after m/c - mine were bizarre for the first three months - first cycle had no ovulation but was the standard 28 days, second cycle was 40 days and PMS from hell and the third was normal 28 days but very heavy and painful - I had always been blessed with regular, fairly calm periods prior to the m/c last year - so yes it seems m/c can really play havoc with your levels - I would imagine the stress and emotional baggage that you have to work through often contributes to 'working things out' of your system to get back to where we need to be perhaps
Julia - I am sorry to see you here but you couldn't be in a better place - there is so much combined wisdom, experience and kindness in this women's circle - may your healing move you forward and at a pace that works for you
May your week be co-operative
Karen van

I just had a read to catch up on all the news since I last posted. I am so glad that I found this thread, as its like you girls are living my life!
Polly - congrats!
Noble - my sister is pregnant and we would have been due 2 weeks apart. whilst i am happy for her, it will be very bitter sweet if her bub arrives and i am still not pregnant. but i guess we just have to find inner strength and have faith that good things will happen for us x
Julia - it sounds like you are having a rough time and its all uncertain! it will be better when you get your blood tests back, you will have a better idea.
if there is one thing i am finding, its that we can never know what our body is doing! i had an ultra sound friday night and there is no sign of cysts and no pregnancy. which i knew anyway, because if i am pregnant i could only be as much as about 4 weeks. the doctor has taken another round of bloods, as its almost 8 weeks since my af and 9 weeks since the miscarriage. my gosh, this ttcing feels like its takign over my life. i just want to now if i am pregnant. i did a stick test or 3 and we are sure its showing really faint lines, but i wonder if i am seeing something that isnt there. my dh says he can see it as well, but i dont know. so i get my new round of blood tests back tomorrow, we will see if that shows anything. i am tempted to go get more stick tests tonight, i am spending a fortune on them! i am not good at not knowing what is happening, and this is driving me mad!
to all the other girls i havent individually messaged, hi and i am keeping up to date with your news. good like ttcing and good luck if you have been blessed to fall utd! we all deserve a happy ending! xx
-
Hi everyone,
Time to catch up.........
Kazaraz - Good luck with your BT. Hope you get the answers you are looking for.
Karen Van - Completely understandable that you would be anxious after getting sick again. I'm sure everything will be fine this time. Hope you all feel better soon. :stickyvibesboy:
HannahD - Been thinking of you since I read your post earlier today. Glad to hear DH is looking after you and watching the sunset at the beach sounds like a lovely way to remember your angel. It's amazing how strong you can be when needed, but don't feel like you always have to be
Jen - Sorry your body seems to be playing tricks on you, I know how frustrating it is! Hope your coverline appears soon so you know what's going on.
boble - Sorry AF arrived and is being extra hard on you as well :(. Hope you get your BFP soon.
Julie - We haven't met, so welcome. As much as it saddens me to welcome new ladies to this thread at the same time I am happy we all have somewhere to go to share our thoughts and feelings. The girls on this thread have helped me more than I could ever put into words.
Easha - Good luck with the scan!
Theresa - So happy to hear the scan went well and your little one is growing nicely. :stickyvibesgirl:
Samandpoppy - 12 out of 29 eggs sound great! Hope you feel better soon. Best of luck!
Naenae - I think all of us can relate to TTC taking over our lives. It is very easy to become obsessed and almost impossible to try and relax and 'forget' about it! That's why this thread is great, we 'get' it.
:hello: to mannie (how are those levels going?), megsmum, babymiracles, WTH, plc, AJC, ruthie, smi, polly, tam, fifi, tutmae, chappas, rach, erybery, issy, indy and anyone else who may be lurking.
AFM - Went to lunch for my sister's birthday today and her best friend has just had a baby and I had a cuddle. Very proud of myself. She was so gorgeous, I didn't want to put her down!
Feeling heaps better after my op and almost back to normal. Been able to BD so that's the main thing!
Been a bit strange this month, had a bit of cramping on my right side (the side my tube was blocked so of course my mind went into overdrive ). It's been quite consistent and I am only CD11 so a bit early for o I would think so not sure? Plus Dr told me I am due to o from my left ovary this month so the pains should be on the other side shouldn't they?
Oh well, I have given up trying to read my body!!!
-
A quick 'me' update.... CD 16 and still no coverline! :wtf: There hasn't been one month since I started temping that I didn't O, but still haven't had a temp drop to indicate that I did! So frustrating and annoying!! D@mn unlucky number 13!
Hannah--I'm sorry to hear that yesterday was your angel's EDD :comfort: I also found the lead-up to be worse than the actual day. It was, however, still a nostalgic day, so I hope you're doing ok. I hope you enjoyed watching the sunset--what a beautiful way to remember your angel! I'm so grateful that you have such a sweet, loving DH to give you the pampering and attention that you deserve! I'm sure he'll think of something extra special to do for you for your upcoming anniversary!
Karen--Ok, this is my second attempt at your post... when I got here last time and tried to quote you, I lost my post, and had to redo it! :computer: You would think after being here for almost a year, I would learn how to not lose a post when going from page to page! Just wanted to say I love your use of verbiage, especially when you said, "It's amazing what a talent your subconscious has for ambushing you even when you feel good about something"--so true! You have a very eloquent way of speaking that reminds me very much of plc! ( plc! ) Sorry to hear that you've come down with a bug, and are experiencing some deja vu... no wonder you feel anxious! Hope you feel better soon! Some extra prayers and :stickyvibesgirl: for you!
kazaraz--Hope your BT's give you the answers you're looking for! *hugs*
Mel--Good for you for holding your sister's friend's baby! I'm proud of you! Could the pain on your right still be from your op, do you think? I'm with you--I've given up trying to read my body this month! We'll be confused cycle buddies together!
-
:happybirthday: to you megsmum!! :birthday2: Hope you have a great day!! :partysmiley: Thinking of you for your appt, as well--I'm sure all will be perfect!
-
:birthday2::happybirthday: Megsmum - my fellow fishy friend. Hope you have a great day and that OB appointment is fantastic
 to Jen (hope that cycle sorts itself out), hannahD (still watching to see if you have done your homework adequately), shortcake, Mel, Mannie, WTH (hope things are going very well for you my dear), boble, julia (sorry for your loss but glad you found this supportive site), Karen van, theresa, Kazaraz, Easha, smi, samandpoppy, fifi and everyone else who visits this site
AFM: I had another scare on friday - with a bit of bleeding so rang my wonderful OB and he said come straight around - did a scan and it was okay and had to had anti-D injection as Rh -ve. Had brown discharge all day saturday but okay again now - pray it will continue that way as it freaks me out every time. Official OB appt is friday week but he said if I was worried he could squeeze me in for a quick scan this coming friday (what a wonderful doctor I have!) So am having lots of and lots of rest, and doing as little as I can especially on weekends. Don't know if it will make any difference but cannot hurt.
Sorry for brief persies today - am meant to be working at the moment
-
Well hello ladies.
Kararaz- Good luck with the BT!
Karen Van- Hope you feel better soon.
HannahD- I hope you and DH had an amazing night remembering your angel.
Jen-Still haven't had any signs of O either. Its so fustrating when all you want is to get a BFP and hold your precious child.
Boble- Sorry AF arrived and is being nasty with you.
Samandpoppy-Congrats on the eggies!
Easha- Good luck with your scan!
Julie- Welcome! May you find the support and comfort that you need here.
Theresa- I'm so glad your scan went well.
Mel- Hopefully the pains are just from your surgery! that you catch that eggie this month!
AFM- still no signs of O! Feeling a bit down and fustrated at this point. I just wish I could tell what my body is doing kwim?
-
Shortcake - I know all about frustration. Just been to the doctors and my hcg is -2 so no pregnancy! So that makes me wonder why the 2 positive stick readings, false positives maybe? God knows. No sign of af and still the sore twins, cramping, afternoon nausea and extreme tiredness! I feel pregnant. Have asked for a referral to a specialist as sometimes I think the gp's just take stabs in the dark. There has to be something going on. GP wanted to put me on pregestorone (spelling) to bring on my period. But I am not wanting that as I just feel pregnant even though nothing is showing up! I dont want to hurt the pregnancy if I am. BUt can I be if its just not showing?? You guys might have more idea than me.
-
Jen and babymiracles - Thanks for the birthday wishes my lovely fishy friends! Having a good day so far! You're next babymiracles!!!
Now to some persies....
Polly - Yay for a BFP!! All the best for the next 8 months or so, hope that they are as stress free as possible!
Jen - I'm sorry to hear your cycle is not doing what it should :( I hope it sorts itself out soon and you get that coverline!
babymiracles - So sorry to hear you have had more bleeding :( As you know, I know how stressful it can be! But at least if it is just brown and not getting any heavier then everything is more than likely OK. You ob sounds wonderful, I would take advantage of that and do whatever you have to do to not stress. If that means an extra scan or 2 just do it! At least of you have one on Fri then you can relax a bit over the weekend too
kazaraz - All the best with the BT results, hope you get some answers from them!
HannahD - for yesterday. I'm glad you got through the day as well as can be expected, your DH sounds like an absolute legend!
boble - Sorry to hear AF arrived stupid witch! All the best for this time, hope its the one!
Julia - Hi and welcome  Hope you stay here is as short as possible.
Theresa - Glad to hear the scan went well.
Easha - Sounds like everything is going really well, that is great! All the best for Friday's appt!
:grouphug: Shortcake, Mel, Karen van, Samandpoppy, chappas, fifi, tutmae and anyone else that I have missed. Still thinking of you even if I haven't mentioned you by name.
AFM, well I got a super b'day pressie today! I got a new stereo for my car so I can listen to my I-Pod, oh and the ob appt went well too ;) We didn't have a scan today because I have decided that I have to wean myself off that habit (and it is only 4 weeks until the big 20 week scan), just a listen to the HB which was a lovely 150 odd BPM and a check of fundus height which was great according to the ob. I have also been feeling a few movements this week too! Anyway I guess it is time to admit that this one is more than likely going to work out and try to relax a bit more. My ob gave me the big pep talk because he knows how worried I have been, so I'll have to listen I suppose. So I'd better start posting in the PAML thread and stop pestering everyone here, but I'll still be lurking and of course posting now and again if that's OK? Might even have to do a pregnancy announcement!!!
-
Karen van - Sorry you've caught a bug. I hope you feel better soon. Oh and I too love the way you have with words.
kazaraz - It's a pity you didn't get any answers from your GP today. At this point a referral to a specialist is probably a good idea. If you feel that something isn't right, persist until you get some answers. I do hope you get them soon.
Mel - The pain could be from your op, couldn't it? And is it possible to predict which side you will O from? I always thought it was pretty much random. And good on you for holding your sister's friends baby.
jen - So sorry your body is confusing you. I might move to Italy if I reach my 13th cycle. 13 is a lucky number there.
megsmum - Happy Birthday! :birthday2: Glad to hear you're having a great day. And yay for little movements from bubs. I can't believe its been 16 weeks already! But it doesn't mean you have to leave us entirely. I personally love getting updates.
babymiracles - Sorry to hear you had another scare. So glad you have an understanding OB. Rest up and goodluck with your appointment next Friday. :crossfingers: you won't need one before then.
Shortcake - to you. Sorry you are feeling down. It is frustrating when our bodies don't put up clear signs. I hope you O soon, so you can catch that eggie.
:hello: and big  for all the ladies I've not mentioned by name. Am thinking of you all.
AFM - Thankyou everyone for your thoughts. DH and I had a lovely time at the beach last night. I even took my shoes off to have a paddle (something I very rarely do). I wrote a goodbye message to my angel in the sand. I've finally allowed myself to say goodbye and I feel more at peace. (I just hope the feeling lasts). BTW, this counts as homework completed! My psychologist gave me more homework this morning - I have a CD to guide me through some relaxation techniques. So I get to make more time for me.
-
hello lovely ladies - still lurking but not posting much on BB in general these days. welcome to the newbies - as a previous full-time member of this thread I have to say it is the home of much comfort and support - irrespective of the whole issue of being here in the first place!! wishing you a short stay here so that you can each graduate to the PAML thread :grouphug:
wishing megsmum a :birthday2: happy happy birthday and all the best for your scan in 4 weeks - big  sweet!!
jen - I'll organise a search party for your O!!!!! maybe we can put an ad in your local paper or somewhere here on BB - someone's sure to have come across it!! ;) It's sure to be having a giggle in the corner somewhere with the numbers 1 & 3 - naughty naughty O!!! aunty plc is ready to give it a stern talking to!!
love to you all :hello:
-
Hannah - Glad you are feeling more at peace. Well, I always thought you o randomly as well but my Dr tells me you alternate each month and he could tell from my op that I o from my right side last cycle and from my left the cycle before. Not holding much hope for this month really as I will o from my left and that's the side that wasn't blocked and it hasn't worked the last 15 months (well, 7 I guess if you alternate).
Jen - I was thinking today about the weird cycle I had a couple of months ago. I was still temping then and I usually o about CD17 and this particular cycle I o at CD22 and had a 35 day cycle which has never happened before. After thinking about it I realised it was my 13th cycle as well. Freaky huh? I had Fertility Friend very confused that month (not to mention myself !).
Babymiracles - Sorry you had a scare but I am so glad you have a lovely ob who is looking after you.
Megsmum - :happybirthday: What a terrific present to hear your little one's :heartbeat: So happy it is all going well.
Kazaraz - Sorry you are getting such confusing signals. Would definitely go to a specialist as most GP's (whilst they mean well) just don't have the expertise. Good luck.
Shortcake - Don't give up - Make sure you :bd: just in case! Some months I can tell when I o and other months I have no idea. :wall:
AFM - Still having slight cramps but I have also had lower back pain (not painful but just a dull ache). Bit like when you might be getting AF or find out you are first pg. I know I am neither of them as I haven't even o yet!
-
Megsmum - Glad to hear that your appt went well and how cool, now you can listen to your ipod in your car!! What an awesome bday combination :)
HannahD - I'm so happy that you have found a way to say 'see you later' to your precious angel baby. I never did that and i think that is why i struggle with it so often. So proud of you hun
Jen - Hope your cycles stop stressing you out and start to work properly..
Mel - I hope your pains turn out to be something other than just pains.
AFM, well we've done all we can this month so i'll just have to see what happens. I'm not feeling any thing yet so i dont think that i am pg this month :( but fingers crossed we caught that eggy. I hate this part the most, the not knowing, the 'is it a symptom, is it just me?' feeling its so stressful. I'm just so used to seeing one line that it feels like i'll never be pregnant :(
-
Hi everyone.
Jen - sorry to hear your body is being so confusing. I only used FF for a couple of cycles before getting my bfp and I hated it when it didn't do what I expected it to do... not fair to confuse us like that I don't think. I hope your O shows up soon!
Hannah - what a beautitful way to remember your little angel baby... I am glad that you have been able to come to peace with it all. My honeymoon babies due date was the 10th feb and I too had a missed m/c in July :( so hopefully we will get bfp's together soon too :D
Karen van - thanks for the advice. I hope you and yours are feeling better soon. Try not to worry.. this pregnancy IS a separate pregnancy and I am sure everything will be fine! Just rest up and get better
Kazaraz - I know what you mean about feeling happy for someone preg but knowing you will feel down if you are not preg by the time their baby comes out into the world - that is how I felt too.. I had said that all I want is to be preg by my due date... now I realise I should have been more specific with that wish as I was preg again but unfortunately not a sticky one.. thats ok.. we will all have our sticky ones really soon... its only fair :D
I hope you get some answers soon! that would be very frustrating!
Mel - congrats on having baby cuddles! Sometimes it can be the greatest thing in the world to put a smile on your face and remember what it is all about
baby miracles - i hope the spotting stops - its not good that your body is scaring you like this.. naughty body! your ob sounds amazing!
shortcake - i hope you O soon. this ttc business is so full of waiting.. waiting to O, waiting for af or a bfp.. waiting for af to go to try again - its natural to get frustrated... but try not to stress as this can affect if you do or don't O... deep calming breaths - it will happen xx
Megsmum - happy birthday! good to hear your lo's heart is beating nice and strongly!
Plc - thanks for the welcome... I am new :D hehe
few - what a list.. sorry to anyone I may have missed... still getting used to this
AFM - AF hasn't been too bad except the cramping, which has been manageable. The first day is always the worst for me, can really knock me out if I don't take pain relief as soon as AF arrives. today I have had some cramping, but haven't needed to take anything. I was sooo scared that AF would be really intense, first one after m/c and I had heard that it can be extremely painful and heavy. This one has actually been not too heavy and not too over the top crampy, so I am handling it all well i think
It will be interesting to see what happens next month as before the last m/c it seemed like I was only O?ng every 2nd month.. i really hope I O next month - I hate only being in with a shot every 2nd month :(
DH asked me the other day when I was going to start temping again hehe... I told him that I was just trying to take it easy for now so that we don't have any extra pressure on us.. but I thought it was cute. I am considering if I want to start up again or not. I find it all very interesting and part of me wants to - but part of me just wants to give it a couple of months too. we shall see.
Lots of :pink-babydust: and :stickyvibesboy: to everyone xx
-
Hello all!
There is so much going on in here (good and not so good news) that I still can't keep up!
Just a bit of a vent - another one of my gf is 10 weeks pg. She told me in a casual e-mail, but I knew she was ttc, so no surprise, put out the usual 'congratulations' and that was about it. I couldn't speak much more of it. She knows I am ttc but not that I had a m/c. I really don't want the usual comments from someone who hasn't experience a loss. That sounds so mean - sorry
I haven't called my GP for my bt results. To be honest I don't want to face it. Whether it shows my levels at nil/dropping or the other.... I am just over being internally u/s, jabbed with needles etc... Sometimes I think it is harder than grieving for my angel.
Anyway..... had a spare few minutes tonight but will try to return tommorrow night with some personals.
Have a lovely night all
xx

Hi Ladies,
Trying to catch up!
Boble - Sorry af showed up.

Karen Van - Hope everything going well for you.
Mel - Well done for giving little baby a cuddle.
Babymiracles - So sorry to hear that you had another scare, glad the scan showed everything was well.
Kazaraz - Sorry that you didnt get any answers from your blood tests. I had one month which showed faint lines and really got my hopes up. Took another test with different brand and nothing, it is so frustrating. Hope you get some answers soon.
Megsmum -:happybirthday: Glad appt went well and you got to hear HB, great that you are feeling movements.
Julia - Welcome, sorry for your loss:hug:
Shortcake - Sorry to hear you are feeling down.
Big hello to Fifi, Tutmae,Smi,Plc Abbey,Samandpoppy and eveyone else.
AFM - Doing ok, Still suffering from m/s and have been put on antibiotics for uti but am looking forward to first scan in 2 weeks.
-
babymiracles--I'm so happy you have such a caring, supportive OB, especially after such a scare! I'm so glad to hear all is going well... man, you're going to give me gray hair, girl! LMAO... Please, NO WORK--just rest, rest, REST!!! Feet up, missy! :stickyvibesgirl:
Shortcake--I'm feeling you, sister! *hugs* Do you temp and chart your cycles?
kazaraz--Usually any read below 5 means no pg'cy.... however, your symptoms are certainly very confusing, so I can see why you're frustrated! Just wanted to give you big *hugs*!
megsmum--Sounds like you had a great birthday! *hugs* You deserve it! So glad to hear your appt. went well, and I'm so proud of you for skipping out on the scan! Look at you, finally giving yourself the ok to start relaxing! So super proud of you and happy for you, hon--I can't wait to see your pg'cy announcement (better late than never!) and your big move to the PAML thread--but don't you dare leave us yet! What will I do without my fishy cycle buddy? Oops, almost forgot to say Yay! Woo-hoo for feeling baby moving!
Hannah--Your trip to the beach sounds beautiful, and I  with all my heart that feeling of peace continues on! You get an A+ for effort! Now onto the next homework assignment... hope the relaxation CD helps! *hugs*
plc--Thanks! I hope you know how much your posts mean to so many of us here! *kiss*
Mel--That IS freaky! See--I'm telling you, 13 is just an unlucky number! So you don't temp at all anymore? Hmm.... I've been wondering why you don't have a ticker and a chart for me to stalk! Makes it very hard for me to be nosy and all in your business!
Abbey--Sorry you're feeling stressed out! *hugs* Sending you lots of anti-AF vibes!
boble--Glad to hear AF hasn't been too rough on you, I remember how worried you were about that! I personally think charting is a great way of getting a peek of what's going with your cycles--but it can definitely become addictive! Good luck with whatever you decide! *hugs*
Julia--Sounds like you could use a
chappas--Best of luck with your scan in 2 weeks, I'm sure all will be perfectly wonderful! Sorry to hear you've got the m/s bug... hope you feel better soon!
Me--Well another increase in temp this morning, so after looking at my chart and my temps, I went thru and did a manual override and gave myself a coverline! Pretty sure that according to temps I O'ed on CD11, and like I said, I did have some O sypmtoms... just not the tell-tale O pains and temp drop. So we'll see where it goes from here.... doesn't really matter anyways--I've had high conception scores for months, with definite O and perfectly timed BD--and it hasn't happened yet, so coverline or not, I'm beginning to think it's just not going to happen! And now DS has to have his tonsils removed on Thursday, and will be out of school for more than a week, so I may have to cancel my dr's appt. that's sched. for my b-day on the 6th! Which means I won't be able to talk to him about the possibility of blocked tubes. Grrr! FF said that my b-day is my test day... so chances are I'll be giving myself AF for my b-day anyways! The silver lining: At least I won't have to have a pap on my b-day!

1974 Motorists
Hey Jen! Yes I do temp & chart. This month everything just seems messed up. It may be since this is my first AF since M/C. I'm hoping that everything returns to normal so. Maybe you won't need your dr appt. Hopefully you will get your BFP this month!

Hi everyone.
DH & I lost out first baby yesterday after seeing a heartbeat on friday, i think sometime inbetween fri & sat night when bleeding got heavier is when it happened, but im saying yesterday as that's when I had the tablets to bring it on.
I wont go on sufice to say seeing it on a screen was awful.
I would like to try again as soon as possible but I dont know when to count my cycle from so i guess that's why people charting tend to wait?
Did anyone else have the tablets to "finish" their miscarriage? If so how did it make you feel and how long before you tried again?
Emotionally Im good today...considering...I think i got alot of it out last night but Im also running on auto pilot.
Hope to get to know you while Im here and hoping it is a short stay!
Eliza

Thanks so much everyone for the birthday wishes :grouphug: I had a lovely day, and a nice quiet night at home with DH, DD and a lovely dinner and cake!
I have to run to a chiro appt now, so will try to get back for personals later on :)
Coco - Welcome and I'm so very sorry for your loss  It is awful that screen, I know it is something that I will never forget ever. Take care of yourself and DH and I hope your stay here is short, the ladies here are a wonderful support. I had a D&C so unfortunately can't help you with the tablet question, but hopefully someone that can will be along soon
-
megsmum - i forgot to say happy birthday, so happy birthday and i hope that you had a wondeful day!
coco - i know what you are going through, although we never got to see our baby on the screen before i miscarried. i am so sorry. you are having the same questions that i had, i didnt do that tablets option and the bleeding from the miscarriage lasted for a painful 7 days. i have never quiet felt pain like it. we also asked when is ok to try again, everyone has a different opinion. we spoke to a midwife who basically said, its more mental than physical if the miscarriage has done what it is meant to. in saying that, we agreed to just see what happened after the m/c but i kinda of regret that now. we are 8 weeks down the track, no af and no pregnancy! so i have no idea what is going on with my body. i think having a cycle is the way to go just so you know where you are at! but its all down to how you feel. good luck with whatever you decide x
hi everyone else and big hugs to you all xxx

OK I'm back :)
Eliza - Hugs again. If you want to start charting again you can, I believe you just start with CD1 being the first day of bleeding (for me CD1 was the day of the D&C). I found it good in a way (but depressing as well) to get charting again as I could see my temps gradually falling back to pre O levels and then when I Oed again finally I knew when to expect AF back. We didn't try that cycle, but at least I knew what was going on KWIM? We were told to wait one cycle before trying again, but there is so much different advice on that one, I think if you feel ready to try again I would. All the best.
kararaz - Thanks for the birthday wishes! Sounds really strange to me getting the neg BT and pos HPT, but HPTs are not the most reliable test in the world unfortunately. But having said that, your symptoms do sound good too. Not much help I know really - sorry! But I do think it is a good move seeing a specialist, GPs try their best but in the end they just can't know it all I guess. Good luck with it all.
Jen - Yay for giving youself a cover line LOL I had a peek at your chart and think you are probably right too, although maybe the next 2 days are possibilities too? But looks like you have covered your bases so to speak ;) so hopefully this could be the one! Don't worry, I'm a bit like plc, could never leave here totally - I just feel so comfortable here after all this time. But hoping that we will be fishy preggie buddies soon, along with babymiracles! Bummer about your DS :( hope he recovers quickly. Can you take him to the drs with you at all? Maybe a silly question, I know how much DD whinges about coming to the drs with me!
chappas - Sorry to hear about the MS and the UTI. Hope the antibiotics clear the UTI up fast, and I guess at least the MS is reassuring - was to me! GL for your scan in 2 weeks :)
Julia - Don't think you sound mean at all. You are just protecting yourself just in case someone who doesn't understand makes the wrong comment, I've lost count of how many time it's happened to me. It is hard when you are coping with m/c haiving to deal with pregnancy announcements.
boble - Sorry AF is not treating you kindly :( I hope the cramps ease up soon. I charted again straight away, gave me a sense of doing something KWIM? But can understand the feelings of needing to take it easy too - GL with whatever you decide.
Abbey B - GL for this month! I didn't feel anything until well after my BFP, so hang in there, you are still in with a chance if AF has not shown.
Mel - Strange about those cramps, hope they do turn out to be O for you with a BFP at the end of it!
plc - Thanks hun, hope all is well with you too!
HannahD - Glad you and DH had a nice time at the beach, sounds like a beautiful way to farewell your angel  So happy that you feel more at peace too and hoping that things stay that way for you.
Sending a big hello also to everyone that I have missed today, hope you are all well xx

Eliza sweetie :comfort: - I am so sorry to see that things didn't work out - I was praying for you yesterday. You found the best forum to join though - the ladies here are just so supportive and have helped me through a very difficult six months. I still cannot leave totally so pop in from time to time. Take time to grieve and heal, and I am sure you will be holding a forever baby soon. I also had a D&C so not sure about the whole tablet thing
AFM: My body is being rather naughty - a bit more brown CM and increased CM this morning - praying all is okay - it has decreased again this afternoon so praying it is nothing. Think I will take up OB on offer of an extra appt this friday for another scan.
:hello: to everyone - I am meant to be working so will come back another time for persies :hugs: to everyone.
Oh and sorry about grey hairs Jen - don't worry I have plenty of them too - and I am sure just got another handful of them in last two weeks ready for my 38th birthday this week - arghhhh
-
coco- this is a wonderful group whos support has helped me more than what many would think. I miss you from our little group already. hang in there.
AFM - after an extemely anxious 3 week wait i had a csan with my ob today and its all looking good. heartrate at 141 bpm. hard to believe.
Thankyou so much for all the support you have given me, I lurk in here still often silently cheering you all on. I just pray you all get to experience a BFP real soon. Lots of love.
-
Jen - Have added a ticker just for you! Thinking about going back to charting but not sure yet. Got a bit obsessed last time - more than I am now!
erybery - :hooray: So glad your scan went well!
babymiracles - Your body is being mean, scaring you like this  If having another scan on Friday makes you feel better and eases your anxiety go for it!
Eliza - I'm so sorry for your loss  I didn't need to take any tablets or have a D&C after my m/c so I can't help but I'm sure someone else here can. There is no right or wrong time to start again (provided your Dr gives the ok). It's a personal choice and only you will know when you are ready. Best of luck on your TTC journey.
Big hi to everyone else. Sorry for the short post. Wishing this back pain would go away!
-
Jen - Sorry to hear DS has to have tonsils out hope he has a quick recovery. you get that bfp this month.
Coco - So sorry to hear of your loss, know what the pain of seeing that scan is like. I too was given a tablet followed by pessary to finish my m/c. I went into hosp 48 hs after tablet and was given pessary, was kept in overnght just to check bleeding. We decided to wait for 3 months to ttc again but everyone feels different and you will know whats best for you. Hope this is of some help.
Megsmum - Thanks, I do find the m/s a bit reassuring.
Babymiracles- Think you are doing the right thing going for another scan, at least to put your mind at ease.
Erybery - So happy your scan went well.
Mel - Hope you get rid of backpain soon.

:hello: Shortcake & chappas -- Big  for you both!
coco--:welcome: I'm so very sorry for your loss! Oh, and I so know what you mean about the screen....seeing my little angel on the screen without a heartbeat was something I've always wished I had never seen! I'll never forget it... :comfort: You're among friends that understand, so please feel free to get out, share, or vent any feelings you're struggling with at the moment. I'm not sure about your tablet question--the be honest with you, I was never offered that option, and didn't even know there was a pill to help.
megsmum--Saw your 1st post in the PAML!! Congrats! Glad you'll be hanging around, tho!
babymiracles--Aren't you supposed to be resting, missy? I think that an early scan is a great idea--I'm sure everything will be just fine, but I know how scary it can be. Take care, hon, and enjoy your b-day tomorrow!! :confetti:
Gotta go pick DS up from school early for his pre-op appt. Sorry, will have to finish the last couple persies later! :grouphug:

Hey all :hello:
I have been MIA in action for a little while....hiding in hospital (6 days, 3 nil by mouth)as I had retained products (TMI SORRY).
They let me out last night:dance:... yes I actually did fell like dancing as I just want to feel normal again....I still have retained products but not as much so they are hoping i can do the rest myself,,,,but the down side is that I am now getting more pain back and starting to cramp really bad so i dare say i will be back in hosp by the weekend for the :wall: 2nd D&C!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO ANGRY AT MY BODY AT THE MOMENT!!!
DH has had mixed feelings about tryingin again...as I was in maternity, he would see newborn babies being carreid around and he was telling me thats what he wanted and then he would look at me and say no don't want anymore just want you home and to be my wife forever and not have to go trhough this again........He has still stoped smoking!!!!!!
I have asked him to let me have a puppy .. but DH has firmly said NO...I just want to mother something...I am sure you all understand.
Oh Oh......... For those TTC already apparently if you are taking Clomid / other form of O drug watch out how much folate you are taking as my ob informed me in hospital that there has been studies and they have found there is an increase of twins!!!! For those wanting twins and taking or not tkaing also be careful as too much folate also has negative affects.... sort of damned if we do or damned if we don't aren't we!!!!
COCO: I fully understand how you feel about seeing your little one on the ultrasound. I have pictures from my first scan ( i haven't looked at them since our sad news) and then seeing our baby so still and lifeless is something I will never forget...It makes me question why even more as it looked so perfect with its little nose / lip profile and little toes and fingers. I kept yelling indise my head for it to please move but unfortunately it had gone 2 dasy before.
-
erybery--Congrats on a great scan! Gotta love that little :heartbeat: beating away!
Mel--Look who's sporting a new ticker! And just for me? Aww, shucks, you're making me blush! Hope your get some relief from your back pain! *hugs*
plc--Oh, P, I just got your card in the mail! Thanks so much--what a beautiful picture of April! What a great surprise to see an unexpected letter from you in my mailbox! It really made my day!
mrzbaby--I'm sorry to hear you've been in the hospital! As if everything you've been thru hasn't been bad enough, now you have to deal with all this! I'm really sorry, hon! Hope things get better for you quick, and you don't need the 2nd D&C!
-
oops, computer acting up... sorry, made that post twice, but all fixed now! :)

Hi everyone,
Im not big on the personals, but i do follow your stories and I love that we can support eachother here :grouphug:
It is almost 48 hrs after taking the first course of tablets and my first day alone and my first shift back at work in an hour and I am feeling awfully fragile emotionaly. Really. You know that feeling just before you cry, the heaving chest or heavy shallow breaths and the ache you get? I have had that all day, I cried once looking at an article about miscarriages and hospitals lack of bedside manner, almost cried at Target while buying super sized pads after a lady with a newborn baby walked past me, I felt like I was going to faint from the painkillers walking through Myer buying my sister's birthday present.
I don't know how Im going to cope tonight at work, I work in a restaurant and we always get some kiddies in and Ive had 4-5 days off so people will be asking questions, alot of the girls know but im not sure how to shake off the sorry's and stuff.:crying:
How are the rest of you handling everything? Are there ways you tend to cope? Even Sex & The City and M&M's aren't helping. :wall:
-
coco--Sounds like you could really use a :comfort: I'm sorry you're feeling so fragile at the moment, but it's not been that long, there's really no way that you could possibly be "over it" (not that you'll ever be over it, but the initial darkness is what I'm referring to). I so totally know that feeling... the ache that brings on the sobs from deep down that make it hard to breathe... or like your heart is stuck in your throat... Having a m/c is devastating, especially in the early days.
I work at my DS's school, and I sent a letter in advance telling them what happened, and that I just couldn't deal with the questions and apologies. Most of them have never mentioned it to this day, almost a year later, unless I happen to bring it up. There will be a day when you'll be able to do the same... if only to make people more aware of m/c. Or even in the sad event that you have to comfort someone else going thru the same tragedy.
Just try to allow yourself to feel whatever you need to feel. Things will get better, I promise.... just take it one day at a time, that's all you can do. Some days will be better than others, and you'll get thru it, just don't push yourself too hard. Good luck tonight at work... I'm thinking of you and saying  for you!

Hi, thought id come in and introduce myself. I have DD 7 and DS 3 and had a missed m/c in Jan this year. I had terrible m/s and took maxilon which a now know I have an allergic reaction to. I went to hospital when I was 8 weeksand they gave me zofran for the sickness. The Dr did an u/s and there was bubs, heart beating away.
By the end of that week (Christmas day/boxing day) my m/s was all but gone and I felt pretty fantastic. By 12 weeks I was stressing abit thinking something was wrong. My bbs hadnt got bigger, m/s had stopped and I could still wear my jeans. DH,DD and I went for our 12 week scan only to see the same peanut shape but no heartbeat. I was so sad even though deep down I knew something was wron weeks before. Did anyone else get the feeling something had happened?
I had a D&C the following week, bled for a few days then got an infection which has since cleared. I got my first AF last week that lasted for 3 days. As I played netball last night I had a bit more bright red blood so maybe I overdid it.
I still chat to the girls in my belly buddies group, I made some great friendships there and didnt think they needed to end just cause I wasnt pregnant anymore.
Now we are thinking about TTC again. If I dont fall pregnant in this next cycle, then we will wait til June. We are picky as to when bubs will be born!
Anyway, that is a bit about me hope you "enjoyed" reading my book.
-
:welcome: ubba--I'm sorry for your recent loss, thanks for sharing your story with us! :comfort: I know, for me, just sitting down and typing it out helped begin the healing process. It's hard to find the words at such a time, when you're feeling so raw and everything is so painful... so I hope it has helped you in some way! Know that other women are gaining strength just by your post! Wishing you lots of luck on your TTC journey!
-
Coco - Sorry for your loss. Welcome and hope your stay is short. I have only even m/c naturally, so I can't provide any words of wisdom.
Babymiracles - Our bodies are very naughty indeed. But I think it is just keeping everything nice for bubs.
erybery - Thanks for dropping in! I hope all is well for you & bubs.
chappas - Hope the antibiotics clear the UTI and GL for your scan in 2 week
Mel - TTC is so confusing at times...
I'll have to pop back as DD is seeking my attention...

Hi Coco
Hi Coco,
I just wanted to say that I understand entirely how you are feeling. I only went back to work a couple of weeks ago and that was after 4 months off. I lost my little girl at 23 weeks in September 08. I work in a women's gym so not only was it difficult for me to see all the girls (who are wonderful but you know... all the "sorry's" etc... ) but I also see pregnant girls all the time working out. My heart STILL sinks into my chest for just a second when I see them.
I hate this feeling - its really getting to me again. Sometimes I think I am dealing with things really well and then all it takes is a little things and I'm back on the angry path. And I'm not sure about the other girls in here but I have flash backs of everything. And I shake my head or close my eyes so they go away again. Guess I'm suppressing the awful memories of it all.
Anyhow, I guess you just have to take things one day at a time. And I have found that every occasion I have been anxious to go to, has always been better and easier than I expected in my mind. I hope your first day back at work was better than you expected it to be.
Keep writing in here - every time you do it always feels easier.
Much love, Joselyn. xxx
