Hi ladies.
ric - heres hoping that AF stays away!
I'm pretty certain im not pregnant. not going to bother testing again.. just wait til next week.. Monday AF is due. I'm pretty sure she'll be here with bells on.
I'm having a down day today. DP has decided that this ttc stuff is too much. he doesn't wanna do it for awhile. I understand where he's coming from, i'm consumed with it all.. it's all i think about and i'm a poas addict (which is starting to become an expensive habit!) .. But i'm so upset by his decision. I have to respect it... but i don't like it at all. In fact, i'm heartbroken. Basically, if it doesn't happen for me this time, it's not going to happen for awhile...and i don't think it's happened this time. I've had numerous psychics tell me that I will have my next baby in my arms by the end of 2010... but i'm thinking that they're all wrong.
My EDD is just around the corner for my ectopic (8th Feb)... all of my friends who fell pregnant at the same time are having their countdowns to the birth... all trying madly to bring on labour (they were a few weeks ahead of me)... and i'm just feeling really down about it. Didn't think it would affect me so badly.
Sorry to put a downer on things ladies.. i truly thought i was beyond sulking about all of this stuff.. but i guess i'm not :(
DP doesn't even want to take a break from ttc and just enjoy love making... he wants to start using protection again so that there's just no possibility. I so desperately want my next baby. Its been such a tease for me to have my 3 babies this year, but to lose all 3 of them. I just see all of my friends who have just had babies and they get their intimate cuddles and that feeling of overwhelming emotions that you get with a new baby... and i want that so much. I feel like it's been stolen from me and now DP's trying to steal it all over again.
sorry for the ranting.
Hope youre all having better days!!
-
ciara.e af isn't here yet so wait till then to make any decisions. and you are really not putting a downer on things. we all have our up days and our down days, and with your edd coming up and people you know on the countdown you are more than entitled to feel like this. i still find myself welling up when people even mention babies. i have just stopped talking to everyone at work most of the time as i am just too emotional and don't even have the energy to make small talk or even be pleasant sometimes. i am not attending mt friends engagement party tonight as there will be pg ladies there. i'm not really coping well at all. and like you, if i don't get pg this time around i have to put it on hold and i really don't want to. just stay positive, you just might get your bfp!
ric good luck, hope you don't get af
Tanya thanks i need some of that. how's things going with you?
TTCALoveChild 3 weeks will fly by :)
Cookie36 are you getting this cramping all the time, or only during certain times of your cycle? i had cramps for the most part of last month which i don't normally get. and that was my first proper cycle since d&c.
afm... well i got a little kitten today :) she's so cute.
-
TTCALC - I'm glad we can't check our own levels - I'd be checking every freaking 5 minutes!! After I lost KT (natural m/c), I found the bleeding from the m/c effectively became day 1 of my cycle, and about 35 days after that AF rocked up (up on I 35 day cycle).
ric - hope AF has flown away for 9 months!
Ciara - I understand why you are down - I remember dh suggesting we should think about taking a break and how much it upset me. Maybe you need to discuss his exact concerns so that the 2 of you can see if there is a medium.
spf - I don't normally get cramping, and considering I can estimate where I am in my cycle until AF shows - I can't tell - but I know the cramping started before Christmas...? Stay strong, I know how hard it can be to "function normally".
-
Ciara things will be ok
Men really do deal with things in their own weird sort of way, a way that makes no sense, and can seem so unfair and black and white. And it seems to me that your DP is thinking black and white ATM.
Just let him go.
As much as you want to scream and have a fit at him, just go easy and support his decision for the moment. Sometimes our men can test us, even if they don't admit it. He was supportive of you when you lost your angels, no matter how irrational you may have been, he was there, so now, girl, as hard as it is, you have to do the same for him.
In his own weird way of thinking, he could be doing this, to get you guys back on track, to fall in love again and be together with no strings attatched. Mabey he just needs the attention for a while...I know that sound weird, but boys are a breed of their own, and we do love them for it!:wall:
Beleive me, as hard as it gets sweetheart, put a smile on that face of yours, go and buy the weirdest coolest condoms you can find, and just go with the flow, I give him a fortnight tops he will change his mind!XXX
Sorry for no other persies X Hope everyone is well X
-
hi again
cookie - thanks for the advice. I have tried talking to him, but i just don't know what to say. I really hope that your cycle sorts itself out. I mean, enough is enough.
SPF - I'm really sorry that you're going through this hard emotional time also. I guess it's just too easy for depression to sink in, hey? I feel like i should be happy with the one i have, and take advantage of all the special one-on-one time we have. Which I do. But there's still that urge to make DD a playmate... some tiny hands and feet for me to cooo over. Nothing beats the innocent pure love that babies have for their mums... to them, mum is their entire universe, their God. I just want to be someone's universe again :(
I'm glad you got your kitten today spf! A little fur baby to smother with your love. I just hope you get your own little one to smother with affection, really soon. xx
afm - well i thought i'd test this morning on fmu, and bfn. AF should arrive tomorrow. I guess instead of putting my energy into my ttc journey, i'll have to shift it back to my weight loss journey! I put on 6kgs with the last pregnany plus christmas combined. And that's massive for me! I lost over 60kgs a few years back and i've kept it off..so even a rise in 2kgs is something i like to sort out straight away. how i let it get to 6kgs is beyond me! I've been hitting the gym pretty hard again this week, and analysing my diet (studied cert 3 and 4 in fitness and PT which involves nutritional analysis). Thing is, I have been doing so well thati should be seeing a marked improvement and i'm not. your body does strange things though. depression releases a chemical into your system that actually stores fat, even if you're starving yourself or working out a lot. so despite your best efforts, if you're severely depressed, you can be stuck with the weight issues. I'm trying to pull myself out of that so i can drop the kgs! Normally my body fluctuates so much that I can lose 3 or 4kgs per week (pretty good considering i'm only a size 10). I might have lost a little bit of fat (only a teeny amount if any), but i'm building up some pretty good muscles again from cycling so the scales are still saying 'FAT' lol.
Aah, theres me raving on as per usual.
Hope everyone's having a good day. And i really hope to see some bfp's in here soon!
-
Murraycod - sorry i was typing when you posted.
Thanks so much for your post. you're totally right there. every word that you said makes sense. I'm so glad to have you in here!! *hugs*
You're right, he WAS there for me and so supportive when i had the losses, and the ectopic was super hard for him cos he couldn't do anything. two weeks i can live with LOL, then it'll be O time haha. Nah, you're right though. I probably should give it a break for his sake. I wish guys communicated their feelings more rather than just holding them in and making us guess!!! lol. DP is a really quiet person, he never talks about his stressors, fears etc until he's had a long time to think about it all.
Thanks again hun. You're a gem
-
Thanks ladies...
Yeah im thinking AF isnt coming like i thought it would.. Its already the 9th and no AF..
I hoping everything comes by end of the month so we can get on track for next month..
I keep thinking AF is coming since im feeling crappy with some cramps today, i drink Coffee so ill keep doing that..Thanks ;) If i got to wait another 35 days for AF to come then i'll have to i realized there isnt much i can do..
I told DF we can still  and then hopefully i can get some questions answered on Jan 26 with the Gyn/Ob..
Cookie36- yeah that would be me to checking every 5 mins so i guess that wouldnt be a good idea we would be all black and blue ;)

-
hey crafty my original edd was 27th march. this got changed to 3rd april after my dating scan, but i think i'm sticking with 27th as i really think that it was growing slowly and the heart rate was slow as well, so it looked bad from the beginning :(
also i think i am not doing as well as i thought. since d&c my af has been really light. like normal for 2 days then stops to hardly anything. after seeing a post about asherman syndrome i'm worrying i have this now. might go and make an appointment with docs if i have no luck this cycle.
-
Hey Gals - this is just a quick hello. I just spent a while reading up on what's been happening. It's so busy in here.
I have been MIA, not even lurking, lately. Feeling pretty glum. Been feeling quite tired intermittent nausea, headahces, frequent urination and some other symptoms, which of course I hope like crazy are pregnancy symptoms. Dr thinks it's just a virus but am off for some tests tomorrow. I tested at day 21 (niavely hopeful after very short cycles past 2 months) and day 24 ( after some very light spotting) both BFN's but still no AF and not really much spotting now either. It's unlike me to feel so glum for so long, maybe its just because everything is just up in the air. Day 26 today.
Mo4 & Murraycod - thanks for asking after me. It's nice, especially when I'm feeling so sorry for myself to know that you've taken the time to say hi.
Murraycod - how's the egg hunt going? I just had this crazy mental image of an easter egg hunt. I hope you get a good few but not too many. Don't want overstimulation.
Ferals4 - I was just reading back over this thread and you said you had answers and it didn't make it any easier. Thanks for posting that. I have no real answers, I have lots of tests that exclude lots of things. But I suppose in reality, an answer doesn't change the heartbreaking reality nor the anguish.
SPF - what did you call your little fur baby? I have three and want more. They bring such joy and happiness to me and DH. I was watching some kittens play in the pet store window today and it was so good to watch them. I love their spiky tails and raised hackles and quirky little sideways move when they are playing.
Take care
-
Dory I must have the same illness as you do.
-
Emmy83 - hope you feel better soon, are you dizzy too? Maybe it's just accumulated grief? Or maybe a virus? These symptoms would be bearable if they meant BFP......Oh well I am going to drag myself outside for a while to wash the car.
-
Hi spfairy
How long is it now since your D&C ? I know you had it quite late as you tried lots of the tablets first, My first few AFs since my D&C were very light too and this last one I had was back to normal and I had my D&C on 2nd Sept so remember it does take a while for the lining to grow back to a good thickness as a D&C scrapes it all away ! so hang in there give yourself another month and if no BFP then think about seeing the DR I do think you will be ok it just takes us ages to get over a D&C, for you I hope you get sorted real soon and enjoy that bundle of fluff !
-
My symptoms are mainly feeling pretty glum dory. Can I say a BFN is apart of my symptoms? Should I see the Dr about it? I am CD29 today hanging around for AF to try again although I feel like given up for a few cycles but I know after the lap and dye now isn't a good time to throw the towel in.
-
Hi
Emmy and Dory sorry your both feeling glum it gets you like that at times especially when you don't get a bfp I may feel like that too this time next week when I have tested,
Here is a photo of my baby Piggys thanks to ferrals for telling me how to upload
well if it works that is !
http://i834.photobucket.com/albums/z...9/IMG_0018.jpg
-
Thanks ferrals it worked !
Hope you like them my little piggy twins ! ( told you i was mad ):d
-
oh crafty they are sooooo cute!
we think we have called our kitty amy, but this could change still. it always takes us a few days to decide if we like a name before settling on it. she is getting on really well with one of our other cats (the older one is always a bit more grumpy but she will come round) and she likes our dogs. we got her from the vets after they were found dumped on the oval :( poor little things.
thanks for the reassurance as well. i think you are right, as i read people with heavy flows sometimes get d&c to make them lighter. and mine were quite light before anyway. i had d&c on 19th october then bled for around 3 weeks after that. this is only my 2nd af since then so i hope you are right about them being light for a while.
dory and emmy i know how you feel  i hope your symptoms are pg related, hopefully you are testing too early!
-
Hi again girls!
My EDD is looming too, I know it was about this time of year, but I actually am not sure of the exact date anymore! I think it was the 18th of Jan. I think it will be a good point to move on from. Will be particularly tricky as we are attending our nephew's 1st birthday on that weekend, when I was supposed to be a beached whale. I'll be OK, as long as the ILs don't make a big deal of it. Which they will.
murraycod - I will be thinking of you tomorrow! We're going to see a sumo fight, so I'll cross my fingers that all goes well while I'm watching!
Cookie - I had really clear really early symptoms with my PMP too - probably to do with the initially mega-high levels of hcg. Have you checked out the UK molar preg forum? On there somewhere everyone has posted their hcg counts week by week. You can compare if you like - some girls levels took ages at first, then shot down, while others just really went slowly, and some went quickly at first, then took 10+ weeks to get from 10 > 1. I think I told oyu that DH built a prediction model for my levels, and it was spot on.
For whoever asked, your levels need to be under 25 to be considered "not pregnant." That's the figure for Queensland Health, anyway.
AFM - I am so BLOATED! Today is CD 28, not weeing on a stick yet (how virtuous!) since I don't know when I O'd anyway. (usually day 15-17) Holding out for Tuesday. And then the tricky part - staying with the ILs for 6 days and not telling them about it, cos we have told them we're not trying yet, to maybe ease the pressure a little bit. They're very full on.
Until next time, my lovelies! Will prob be offline for a while...
-
gday everyone!!
hope you all had a lovely weekend! had my best friends wedding yesterday and it was sensational.... hot but still fab!! went off without a hitch and it was such a great distraction to get thru another day!
crafty- im going good! thanks for asking after me, makes me feel so spesh!!! :D much like you, im playing the waiting game as best i can! i go back to work tomorrow - boo hoo! but it will make the time fly!your little baby piggys are too cute!!! and a proud little mumma stands by!! hope you are surviving the 2ww and good luck when you test! xx
murraycod - good luck for tomorrow, will be thinking about you and cant wait to hear about it all! xx
spf - my AF has been really light since d&c on 12/09/09... had been worried myself... not much proper bleeding either, just black little bits! (sorry tmi)
AFM - im waiting patiently to test... going to do one this Thurs with fmu... i was feeling really confident but last night i had a large amount of egg white CM... so now im thinking that maybe im ovulating really late!?! anyone else had this??? cause its not a pregnancy symptom that i know of??? is it???
xox
-
T Hopes - yes i thought i might have O'd late this cycle... cos i thought i had the same CM symptoms. I can't say for sure if it was or not, but AF is due for me tomorrow... so i'll let you know how it pans out. I think she's coming anyways cos my boobs are tender and i have some slight cramping starting already. Hoping that no matter what, you got your eggs fertilized at the right time!!! xx
Snugglybean - Gosh i hope your IL's aren't so bad. Surely they'd be a little more understanding than to go and put their foot in it at a time like that? No matter what, we're all here for you to support you through it. Fingers crossed you can celebrate instead, with a BFP xx
ScaryPinkFairy - how someone can dump an innocent life and just leave them there is beyond my comprehension. Thank god there are wonderful people like yourself out there to give them a great loving home. xx
Crafty - cute twins. I have my fingers crossed for you that you'll get your BFP next week. xx
Emmy - big hugs. I hope it's just false BFN's at the moment, but if its not, i hope the witch gets her butt in town asap to get the ball rolling on the next cycle.xx
Dory - I've missed you! I hope you're doing ok. Sounds to me like some pregnancy symptoms.. fingers crossed that's what it is and not a virus. I know it can get overwhelming when the room moves so fast and you feel like things are moving so slowly for you... but don't be a stranger! We all miss you!!!
AFM - well i'm just waiting for AF to arrive. should be here tomorrow. the slight cramping and sore boobs are here... but i got a bit nauseated tonight at dinner when my DP made my favourite (fresh steamed vegetables with rice noodles). i couldn't bear the smell of the broccolli (which is my favourite) and i tried to hold my nose and eat it, but almost threw it up so i had a piece of toast and some yoghurt instead. Perhaps this is a new AF symptom that i haven't paid attention to before. Crazy stuff.
Hope everyone is feeling great tonight. Take care of yourselves ladies.
-
Hi everyone,murraycod-good luck tomorrow, will be stalking you.Are you going to be awake or asleep when pick-up is being done?..ric-still hoping she stays away...ciara-sorry about dh wanting to give ttc a break, hope he is ready to start again sooner than later or even better this cycle will give you a bfp.No need to apoligize about being down,we all get that way, perfectly understandable..scarypinkfairy-i'm sure your little kitten will give you hours of fun & comfort..cookie-when do you have to have another test?..craftmummy-your guinea pigs are adorable...dory-hope your symptoms are pregnancy ones...snugglybean-hope your in-laws are bearable...t-hopes-good luck on thursday...eliselouise-how are you?..afm-got a bargain, coles supermarket has their range of pregnancy tests marked down to half price, don't know if it in all their stores might worth a look, this poas can get expensive.

Thanks Girls ;>
Thank you all for the well wishes, I'm a bit nervous about the whole procedure tomorrow, but i think it is just the unknown at this point!!
Will be leaving to go to Adelaide at about 6am to get to our hotel nice and early for a rest.
Then I go in at 3;10pm for the procedure.
Matthew'sMum FS has given me a choice if I want general or sedation, think I'll choose sedation because general anasthetic beats me around a bit, I don't wake up too well.
But I'm just scared that if i go sedation, It's going to hurt...so I'm stressed!!
Great to hear you got yourself a bargain!!!!
Ciara those symptoms sound prommising!!! Hope it is because you are UTD!!!! My body goes into crazy mode when AF is due, it's like it has a phantom pregnancy every month, so I can't trust myself anymore:lol: Hope yours are the real thing!!!
Other than that, I hope that you are okay, we are all here for you if you need to vent, I understand how frustrating things can seem XXXXX
Thopes when I got my BFP last Feb, I kept having to run to the toilet thinking AF had shown, but it was just EWCM all of the time, and many many other women get that, so yes that can be a definate symptom of early pregnancy, geez hope we have all stocked up on those evil sticks because I recon there will be a pee fest going on in here soon!!! Got your floaties everyone??? Last week it was the shag fest, now look wat you all gone and done!!!!!
Snugglybean thanks sweetheart, the Sumo Fight sounds like great fun!!! I am always amased at how those huge guys can run around in those wedgie undies....nappies....whateva they are, it looks so funny!! I would just go to see that!! Not the actual fight!!!!
OMG Craftymummy those baby guineapigs are just tooooo cute!!!
Thank you so very much for the Babydust, your post was so lovely
Not long to wait now to test honey! I will have my fingers crossed for you so tight X
Scarypinkfairy I do hope that your cycles are just taking their time to get back to normal, I hope that eveerything is fine with you XXX
Please take it easy, and give Amy a cuddle for me!XXX
Emmy don't throw in the towel XXXX We are all here for you, take care X
Dory I'm sending you heaps of Cyber huggs your way, because you always have such lovely advice to share, and always have such lovely words to cheer people up, so you deserve the very best in return
Hope that you don't have a bug, and I hope you have all of these symptoms are for a happier reason XXX
Is your car is nice and shiny now??, that does always make me feel a little beter.....wanna wash mine!X!
-
Good luck tomorrow MurrayCod. Try to get some rest tonight. I'll be thinking of you. xxx
-
murraycod-it's understandable that your nervous, hope it isn't too painful for you, keep focusing on the big picture, after the procedure you'll be one step closer, hugs
-
murraycod best of luck today. I will be praying and hopeing you get lots of nice mature eggs that grow into Blasties and turn into your future children. Big  that this is the start of a sticky BFP.
Me waiting for AF. Any day now. CD30 today.
-
SPF - Do you use opk's? Years ago, I read something that suggested that a really light (esp scanty) AF could indicate that you didn't o during the last cycle. It's not unusual for your body to take a while to catch on where things are at when you've used medical facilities to speed things up. After my natural m/c, where my body controlled the entire process, it slotted straight back into normal. However, with the 2nd one, my body refused to acknowledge that anything was wrong (I had no bleeding or pain), it's still struggling very hard to figure out what I've done to it. I know patience is hard. But apparently it is a virtue (look who is talking!)
Dory - Chin up! How did your tests go?
Crafty - eeeee! The little piggies are SO cute ... although it's not quite 3 little piggies - you might need to get her to push out a few more so we can have a reenactment! If nothing else, I'm sure it will give us something to laugh about!
Snuggly - I forgot to mention that after I popped the popper for you, my dogs ran around the back yard with the streamers like little idiots - they are happy for your official start date too!
T-hopes - check what I wrote at the top. It's very very common for women in early pregnancy (actually althroughout!) to keep running to the loo for the spot check. A pregnant body sends down loads of goo - it acts like a down escalator for all the nasty viruses and germs trying to go up. Just relax. There's nothing you can do to effect things - so give it the best chance.
ciara - the smell thing sounds like a good thing!
Matthews mum - hope you stocked up! And then that you wont need them after all that! I test on Thursday. once my ob has seen that result he'll tell me what's next (which I'm assuming will be yet another test a week after!)
murraycod -I have my toes crossed for you! (I have very talented toes - I can untie double knotted shoe laces and send sms's with them. Among other things ;) ) I've been getting phantom preg symptoms since my first m/c. The main one getting up all hours to pee!
Emmy - hope your body falls into line quick smart!
AFM - I'm busy being cranky and surly.
-
thanks heaps cookie, murraycod & ciara! you have given me back some confidence! was shattered when i saw it as thought my cycle was way outta whack again! i almost caved this morning and tested but somehow contained myself!
ciara - any sign of af yet?? i hope not!!
murraycod - thinking of you today!
crafty - when are you testing??
emmy & dory - sending you a big cuddle!! stay strong!
budgi - are you out there?? how are you?? xx
afm -im back at work today! boo!!! why did i not appreciate my holidays last week!!
-
Thinking you Dory (sorry to everyone cheekily pop into thread...) & hope you find your spirits lifted soon
Be kind to yourself  (A lovely lady once gave me this advice after my first BB post ;))
Best wishes to all you ladies TTCAML for BFP's & a new year filled with love & happiness x

Hi Ladies,
I so hate to just post negative stuff but I don't know who else to turn to. I started back at work today and only made it 3 hours before I was in tears and had to cancel the rest of my day. I just feel so mixed and muddled in my thoughts. I have started back on the injections and should probably be ready for another IUI on the 18th or 19th. I feel like I should be happy that we are able to try again so soon but I just feel that even if I get a BPF I won't be happy, I feel I'm at the point where I just can't expect any pregnancy to last. I think if I were younger I'd give myself some time off but at 38 I don't think I can afford to do that. I hate being negative it's not in my nature but at the same time it feels like I'm just being realistic to almost expect a pregnancy not to last. I know I won't feel confident until I'm 20-25 weeks at least but I don't want a baby to be picking up on this negative vibe either. What do I do????????? :shakehead:
-
Sunbeam :comfort: screw it - negative or positive we are here. You know just as well as everybody else that we don't sit around in here only worrying about the happy people! What do you do? Keep sharing! We know how you feel. We will help you carry your burden.
This is from a chain email I received - I normally ignore these, but I would like to post this in tribute to all the women here;
Time passes. Life happens. Distance separates. Children grow up. Jobs come and go. Love waxes and wanes. Men don't do what they're supposed to do. Hearts break. Parents die. Colleagues forget favors. Careers end. BUT.........
Sisters are there, no matter how much time and how many miles are
between you. A girl friend is never farther away than needing her can reach.
When you have to walk that lonesome valley and you have to walk it by yourself, the women in your life will be on the valley's rim, cheering you on, praying for you, pulling for you, intervening on your behalf, and waiting with open arms at the valley's end.
Sometimes, they will even break the rules and walk beside you...Or come in and carry you out.
Girlfriends, daughters, granddaughters, daughters-in-law, sisters, sisters-in-law, Mothers, Grandmothers, aunties, nieces, cousins, and extended family, all bless our life!
The world wouldn't be the same without women, and neither would I. When we began this adventure called womanhood, we had no idea of the incredible joys or sorrows that lay ahead. Nor did we know how much we would need each other.

oh Sunbeam - sweety, you have had such a rough trot! the first day back at work isn't easy at the best of times let alone after a loss! its ok to feel like this today, just take it one step at a time, dont get ahead of yourself... try not to worry about 25weeks etc, we need to focus on that BFP and then take it one day at a time! I truly beleive to get a 'positive' you have to be 'positive!' sending you lots of love xx

Sunbeam im so sorry to hear your having a rough time at the moment. Dont feel wrong or selfish about posting your thoughts and feelings, thats exactly what were here for, to listen and help out all we can. Your in my thoughts hun
Matthewsmum thanx for asking about me. Im doing well had quite a lot of ms and very tired but other than that im good. 7w3d today so im a little further than last time which is exciting but still finding it hard to get too excited. I have my first scan in about 2 1/2 weeks and if all looks good i think ill probably start to stop stressing so much.
Sending everyone lots and lots of :pink-babydust: and hoping to see plenty of :bfp: very soon

Sunbeam, one of the scariest things about ttc after a loss is that thought that something might happen when we finally do get our bfp. Let's face it, its easy to think that if it's happened before it can happen again. And it's certainly NOT wrong to have these thoughts. It's perfectly normal. I would call you a human being for having these emotions today. Yes, the injections could be magnifying your emotional state at the moment.. but the emotions and thoughts had to be there manifesting in the bottom of your soul for it to emerge today. Can I be honest with you? I feel the same way a lot. I'm sooo scared to fall pregnant again because I don't think i can cope with another loss. I just don't know how I could carry on if i had ANOTHER loss. And hearing you having similar feelings just proves to me that its normal to be this way. We wouldn't be human if we didn't struggle. We wouldn't know love if we've never lost it. And we'll never TRULY understand just how miraculous a baby's birth is, until we've struggled to make it happen. I'm sorry that you've had such a trying time today. Removing yourself from work is nothing to be ashamed of. It takes time to work through our emotions, and you're allowed to take that time without feeling bad.
If you EVER feel a little down, please let us know how you're feeling! We're all here with open arms (well, open cyber arms lol). Your pain is our pain. I hope we can work through these struggles together.

elise, i'm glad things are going well for you. Postitive baby vibes your way hun.
Emmy - day 30? Gosh, she's taking her time to make her appearance! I hope this means that there's a little pea in there hiding from your hpt's.. if not, i hope AF just gets her butt here already!
t-hopes - how was work? are u going to cave and test again?? I wish the smell thing was a symptom... i don't feel positive about that though :( think i was just exhausted from so much working out and housework!
Ladies, i just wanted to say.... although we're having a rough trot ttc, it IS possible!! A friend of mine has had cancer 3 times. She's had so much treatment that she was told she'd NEVER have kids again. This year she turns 42, and she's currently 6 months pregnant. So we're not too old, or too damaged to make it happen... we're just waiting for our turn.. no matter what method it takes. I hope there are a lot of BFPs here really soon.

ciara.e there is a lady where I work who is about to have her 11th baby or 10th or close to that. She is 45 and had twins not even 12months ago just before her 45th b'day. I need some of her fertility.
Also a 31-34 day cycle is normal for me. I am sick of waiting. Does vitex make your cycles shorter? Maybe I should try some.

ciara - thanks for the comment about the impossible pg. I need stories like that to keep me functioning.
Emmy - aren't the long cycles great? Until you actually need them for things like, I dunno, ttc?!
mummyof4 - the plentiful posts are a ploy, to help keep you distracted - everytime you feel the urge to POAS, just come back and write some persies for the 5 pages you missed!!
TTCALC - you may find that all the cm is just your body recreating the cervical barrier that protects you from pg's 26 days out of every 28 day cycle. I had heaps and heaps of the junk after KT. I believe the general rule is: as long as it is clear/milky-coloured and doesn't smell off then you are fine. I'd just take it as a sign that your body is starting to recover and get ready for the next take...
afm - um sick of everyone complaining about the heat. Sick of DH tossing and turning like he's trying to beat the carp out of the mattress. Sick of the low grade nausea that keeps following me around.
