MurrayCod - True - sometimes no news is a goodnews. Hey You know what - Its the start of the New Year - so its definitely going to be good and wonderful....Just Relax in the hotel, Eat healthy and think positive. Definitely this is your month.
Anita - Same here no sign or symptom of AF. I have tried all home tips but no result.
so, I want to my Doc yesterday, he was 2the point. he referred me for blood test - FSH, LH, Pitutary, Prolectin, urea, etc etc and said sometimes after miscarriage, pitutary i.e. brain gets confused and creates a hormonal imbalance which effects menstrual cycle, its not that your uterus is recovering, its just your hormones are either too high / or are not functioning simultaneously...thats why there is delayed ovulation or no menstrual Flow..I will get the results on Monday and then he said i will give you tablets to regulate the cycles and ovulation.
So, whenever you go a see your Obs on 26th - let them know about your delayed periods...i think sooner the better...i am facing this problem since my m/c (almost 5 months), and feels if i went to my doc earlier i would be better off with my cycles atleast....well, ITS NEVER TOO LATE.

SPF - glad to know kitties r doing good. That's good that you dont need any OPK stuff to know when are you ovulating. Your body gives you the ovulation signals is great.

AFM well the last 36hrs for me have been just dreadful, started 11pm tues my DD4 and DD5 began to vomit all over the bed floor you name it so I was up till 3am washing beds and carpets and comforting them every time they went back to the loo to be sick again ! DH oblivious to all this was hogging the bed and snoreing his head off ! (men don't you just love them ) NOT eventually got to bed around 4am and slept to 7am to be awakened with dreadful tummy cramps and feeling really dizzy and sick and well then spent the whole day running to and from the toilet comming out both ends and feeling like I was gonna just die ! so managed to make it till today on nothing but water which keeps comming back and feeling really weak today and still nauseas but thankfully nothing as yet, so I have not had the energy to even think about testing and | figure even if I was utd the way I was yesterday there is no way it would have survived so I will just wait for AF to show ! :sick: after the last 24hrs don't think I want a BFP this month just hate being sick !
Crafty - I had gastro before I knew I was pregnant with KT. And my cousin had gastro when she was 30+ weeks. Don't lose hope!
Dory - Just want to say all the best - I too am in pregnancy #5 with nothing but heartache prior. You too will get to hold your bub this time. Not to say the next few months won't be without the fair share of terror! unfortunately early preg is weird...pains from all the stretching etc which of course always terrifies me! I had a few dashes to the hospital to get checked lol..feel free to msg me at any time!! I'm a goldmine of info at the moment regarding preg symptoms and scares lol (by the way - i am 24wks today so I am proof to NEVER give up hope!):
Craftmummy dont give up hope yet, i had really bad gastro about 2 weeks ago for 3 days and it was absolutely horrible. I was 6 weeks then and everything is still fine. Hopefully AF stays away for you and you get to see those 2 beautiful lines.

Also Ric.. i know what u mean about the Putitary ;I have a putitary tumor which since u said that makes me think would that be happeing to me as well.. I been having lot more headaches and very tense ones to.. which i have pain everyday cause of that ....but not so tense as these have been... i got alot of questions to ask her when i get in on Jan 26 i sure do hope i can get them answered..

Ladies i am sorry to leave you all but i got an infarction or what ever they call it for the picture of abbi's footprints someone complained we can talk about it but cant show it so i will be leaving and finding a different forum i will miss you all and i hope you all get your BFP's i know i will i just have to be patient.

I just need to be very clear that Ferrals is very free to post on Belly Belly. It is her choice if she does not want to. I also understand that it can be confronting to be asked to remove an image of a much loved & grieved for child.
However, we have guidelines that have taken a lot of thought and time. One of them is that there is no images in posts. Most of you who have read the guidelines (hopefully you all have! :lol:) will know this. We also have a guideline that images of passed over babies are not on tickers. The reason for this is because some women (& men) find it very distressing. Think for a moment if today you birthed your 20 week baby & came in here to be confronted with an image of those beautiful little feet? YOU might be fine. Some are not. I have received complaints from women who have lost babies at a similar gestation. Not that they do not like the picture - that it is just too distressing and confronting.
As a site we need to provide a safe place for everyone. Ferrals was given the option as is everyone of proviiding a link to her picture so everyone could choose to see this image or not.
Please understand that we have these guidelines to protect as best we can those that are grieving.
If anyone has any queries, concerns or feedback it needs to be via PM to either myself or another moderator. As a team we discuss decisions & concerns.

Therefore we will not accept any complaints that these guidelines weren't read by you.

2. Do not abuse or 'flame' other members, websites or businesses.
If you disagree with a member, find a civil way to communicate that. Any personal arguments must be kept off the boards (eg, via email or PM). Name calling or rudeness is not okay.
If you have been offended by a member, we encourage you to contact them to clarify what they meant. Many online disagreements are caused by misunderstandings, and can be avoided when members contact one another to clarify (via PM or email).
3. Do not stir or bait other members by posting controversial material with the intent of upsetting and/or offending them. Do not publicly judge or criticize other member's parenting choices.
We will have no hesitation removing troublemakers if it means our members will continue to have a supportive, non-threatening place to chat. Religious and cultural debate will be very closely monitored.
4. No posting sexually explicit topics or images. Anyone found posting topics of a sexually explicit/graphical nature will immediately be removed as a member and their IP banned from our domain WITHOUT WARNING.
It is okay to discuss relationship issues and topics of a light sexual nature relating to conception, pregnancy, birth and baby, however those exceeding these boundaries will be dealt with.
5. No spamming or market research posts - no promoting a business without approval.
This includes:
- business names as your forum name or business names in your profile details
- posts requesting replies for people to participate in research and studies or for feedback on product ideas - permission MUST be sought prior to posting. HOWEVER we do allow regular BellyBelly members (not Registered members with a post count less than 50) the opportunity to conduct market research in the market research forum ONLY.
- posts advertising your business, or advertising something that financially benefits you, such as a party-plan party.
- posts advertising for sperm/egg/embryo donors or recipients. Please ensure that any discussions between donor and recipient regarding donation is not posted in this public forum.
Spamming is now illegal in Australia carrying penalties and will not be tolerated.
We encourage members to look into advertising with BellyBelly or Market Place Membership.
6. No insensitive remarks particularly in any forums which you do not usually take part in.
For example, those with infertility or problems trying to conceive don't want to know that you get pregnant at the drop of a hat, first try, every try. Think before you post.
7. No foul/offensive language
We have censors on some words but we'd like to keep it clean please!
Creative spelling to get around being censored is not allowed. If a word is censored, it's censored for a reason.
8. No spoiler posts or sensitive news posts without a warning in the thread title.
For example, if you know who is going to get kicked out next in the latest reality t.v. show please don't spoil it for others without fair warning (e.g. title your topic "Days of Our Lives Spoilers"). It's okay to discuss privately within a thread but not in the title where others may see it and not want to know the results until they've seen the show for themselves.
Similarly, do not post any potentially upsetting news story without a warning in the thread title.
When posting distressing news stories, be aware that the moderating team may edit or remove threads that are deemed to be inappropriate, too upsetting, or not helpful.
9. No images in posts.
The posting of images within any post on BellyBelly is not allowed. The only images which are allowed within posts are emoticons (do not use emoticons not found on BellyBelly), or any images posted by the moderation team. Not only do images in posts make the forum look untidy, we also have quite a few members who are on dial-up and need to wait for those images to load before continuing.
10. When sharing information, remember that this is a public forum, and consider protecting your privacy. Do not post personal phone numbers or addresses.
Remember this is the internet and it is accessible to anyone who wants to join. Please keep your personal details private as we cannot be responsible for any actions resulting from members posting personal details on the website.
Editing of posts is limited to within 14 days of initially posting. If you require a post to be edited after this time, you will need to contact an administrator, and the decision will lie with them.
11. The decisions of the Moderators and Administrators are final. Do not debate their decisions on the forums.
There is to be no online defamation, complaining or arguments in regards to a decision made by the BellyBelly team. If you have any issues with a decision, we have made it very clear in each forum who to contact for any problems, and you must contact them off the board, via email or PM.
Only moderators are allowed to post in purple writing - this is so that members and moderators can easily identify when a moderator has posted.
12. Do not post commercial/business links.
You may NOT link to a business or to a website with commercial intent (eg. a business blog) (this is to protect the interests of our paying advertisers and Market Place Members).
You may not guide members to a commercial site by posting the address, eg. www dot bellybelly dot com dot au. You may tell people a business name, so that they can search the business independently.
You may recommend products in the Recommend a Product forum, which you can access once you have 50 posts or more.
You may link to non-commercial sites, eg, news, youtube, personal photosites or blogs. Any links from the BellyBelly website can be posted without permission.
You may not link to other forums.
If you are in doubt about a link, contact a moderator/administrator to gain approval before posting.
13. 'Trolling' is not allowed.
While we encourage members to protect their privacy, we still remain a real community.
As such, we require that you post real information, and not make up details (apart from anonymous names), and stories to mislead other members.
If moderators suspect a member is trolling, through inconsistencies, suspected false information etc, this will be addressed.
You may adopt a second username to protect your privacy, for example, to ask a question about a sensitive medical condition, relationship issue, or if you are pregnant/trying to conceive and aren't ready for it to become public knowledge. This will be noticed by the moderating team, and you may receive a PM requiring you to clarify your situation if it is unclear.
14. Buying & Selling on BellyBelly
Buying & Selling between members on BellyBelly is to be done only through the BellyBelly Buy, Swap, Sell or Wanted section. You must be either a Platinum or Lifetime Member to be able to see this section. This is to protect our members from online fraud.
Please do not use the forums to engage in any trading activity at all.
You are allowed to give items away for free in our Free & Fabulous Giveaways area.
The exceptions to this are that Platinum Members are allowed to post links to their personal Ebay listings within the Ebay Listings & Links thread in the Platinum area. The Platinum area also has a thread for Platinum members to link to their classifieds listings. Market Place Members can also utilise their signature link in all their posts.
15. No meaningless posts to build post count
Artificially inflating your post count with meaningless or trivial posts (post-whoring) without also contributing meaningful content will not be tolerated. The posts will be merged or deleted.
Deletion of Membership
When you post on BellyBelly, the information you post becomes public knowledge and part of the BellyBelly.com.au forums. If members wish to be removed, then we will delete their membership (de-register username and delete profile information) but their username and posts will remain on the board, in order to maintain consistency in posts and for other users to retain their reputation points. Only post what you don't mind anyone else reading.
We accept special cases should you wish to be removed, please contact an administrator if this is a matter of safety, you must be willing to fully explain your situation and the decision lies with a BellyBelly.com.au administrator.
Any membership/fees paid during your time at BellyBelly will not be refunded, either in part or in full, because the hard work has already been done in setting up email accounts, avatars and access privileges for Platinum and Market Place Membership forums. As well as the members having full benefits of those forums/advertising links during their time at BellyBelly. This also includes if you have access to closed groups removed due to a guideline breech as mentioned in the Privacy Guidelines.
The Report Function
In the upper right hand side of each post, you will see a 'report post' icon (red and white triangle). If you see a post that you believe contravenes BellyBelly guidelines, please report the post so that the moderators are aware that there might be an issue. You can report anything you feel violates BellyBelly guidelines, such as offensive posts, violating signatures, advertising, double posts, links in posts. If in doubt, report it. You can also report things to do with site maintenance, like when a thread reaches 300 posts, a link doesn't work, or any other glitch.
Reporting problem posts is a great way you can contribute to keeping BellyBelly a smoothly-run, safe and supportive place for its members.
Consequences
If you breach BellyBelly guidelines, you may receive a warning or infraction. Some infraction points expire, others don't. Accumulating 3 current infraction points results in your membership being banned, so post carefully. You can find more info on the Infraction system HERE.

The Moderation team here at Belly Belly have compiled some signature guidelines for use in the Miscarriage and Loss and Long Term Trying To Conceive Forums. These guidelines are in an effort to be as sensitive as possible to those in these forums.
These guidelines are in effect immediately and are for all threads in the said forums with the exception of the Pregnancy and Parenting threads of these forums.
In the Miscarriage & Loss threads links to your child(ren) website that fall within our guidelines listed HERE are permitted.
* In the LT TTC forums links to your child(ren)'s website are not permitted.
* The following tickers are allowed - TTC Tickers without photos of babies, weight loss, christmas countdown tickers are the only tickers admissable in the said forums - with the exception being the parenting and pregnancy threads of the above forums.
If you have another ticker or a signature that does not comply with the above guidelines you will be required to turn it off prior to posting.
To disable your signature simply untick the box "show your signature" - you will find this if you scroll down below the text box you post in.
For members who find all signatures/avatars confronting you can disable them across the board via the User profile page and under Edit Options you can tick if you want to see avatars/images/signatures etc.

Sorry all, i'm a bit shocked by recent events so I won't get into personals. But Innanna, I do want to thank you for clarifying the guidelines. I understand that it's not easy to be the bearer of bad news. I'm just sad that Sandra has chosen to leave us. i feel like she's become a sister, or best friend.

:backtotopic: Well today was a hectic day! I managed to get sunburn over sunburn whilst working hard on my vegetable garden. Oh boy, I did a lot of work in it today!! Then hit the gym tonight for cycle class followed by a swim, so I'm exhausted. Still no sign of AF just yet, but cervix is still sitting very high so until she lowers, I won't really know where I'm at (she normally lowers the day I get AF anyway).
Well, dinner time for me... had a late gym session.

Thankyou Ciara & Murrycod it is not an easy job sometimes & I respect you greatly for honouring that. :hug: It is also difficult as I understand how precious these momentos are. However, we made the decision as a team of moderators and administrators some time ago to ask that images of this nature that could (& are) confronting to some are to be linked. This way a choice can be made by the reader.
Again, I understand well the honour that these images hold for Mamas (I am one of them too remember), but I also know well how painful they are to many others. :hug:

Dont get me wrong i think it is a stupid rule and i dont agree that in our own little special section we are not able to put images of our little bubbas it is the Miscarriage and loss bit but it was the rule.

Hey Ferals - I hope you don't go permanently, maybe just take a few days to chill? it would be really sad not to hear your words of advice and quirky stories and great sense of humour. This is a tough time right now for you, but you can get through it and hopefully with the help of your friends here. We've travelled some interesting times together.

Crafty - oh bloss - are you feeling any better? there is only one good thing about gastro - that it stops eventually. I hope that you are feeling better, and that the bug didn't spread. Kids usually seems to bounce back quicker from it than adults do. I hope you got both gastro and MS symptoms together, but maybe that's wishful thinking? Oh the ob is very understanding and in previous pgs has offered extra scans, consults, ph calls, pretty much whatever I think will give me some comfort and reassurance. I feel that I am pretty lucky to have such an understanding ob.
Mo4- you're a bit quiet? what's going on? any more news on the pukies? or other symptoms? thinking of you and hoping. It was 8 days til testing on 13 Jan, which means yu are a few days closer to testing now... have you caved?

Ciara.e - I tell you babe - at one level I am so jealous of all that exercise! I love exercise. I was so tired yesterday I thought I was going to puke and faint. I don't do either very often. For some reason, pg just knocks me around. Exhaustion and fatigue are my constant companions. Yet usually I am pretty active, a lot like you. So even though it sounds a bit like a complaint its not, it's just that the thing I miss most in pg, is being able to exercise.I can't even really muster a decent walk at the mo. SO can you enjoy it for me and tell me about what you do? I will be an exercise junkie through you. I might try a swim on the weekend..... sory about the wisdom teeth... painful, I had 4 extracted in hospital. How did yours come out? Try not to be too frustrated, but i know how hard it is\.

You're such a good and protective mum. I like the idea of the family heirloom christmas stocking, what a lovely tribute. How hard it must be to try and explain m/c to kids. You are amazing. It's so sweet that your DD worry themselves about the future of any pg, and as hard as it is for you it's good that the ask questions.
MURRAYCOD - I hope you didn't get a phone call and that you are on your way to Adelaide for ET ( or was that happening yesterday?) OMG - I am so excited for you. It represents hope, and I hope you do one cycle and get a BFP in 2 weeks. presaries. hmmm, like you sai, the things we do. I have heard a lot of good things about repromed in Adelaide and hope you have a good experience with their staff but more than that, that you have a BFP and sticky pg. Are you allowed to use your treadmill after ET? Do they recommend acupuncture before and after ET? And as always your advice is spot on! You are also so thoughul to remember others. WOOT WOOT - nice to see you guys splurging at a nice hotel and a walk along the beach. I have a great mental image of you doing that and it makes me smile.

Oh the other two are snoozing in the same room with me, but I didn't notice because they weren't snoring. Well one of them Oliver snores more loudly than any person I know ( well not quite but almost) and snuffles and snorts in his sleep. Vet is not too worried about it. None the less I love my little snuffler cat. Anyway, how are you doing?

Matthewsmum - How you doing sweetie? I don't know how i get the energy to do so much exercise at times! I just make myself get up and do it. If i don't, I find I let things bother me much easier (like this ttc journey). It helps having DD who's almost 4 - full of beans and lurves going to the gym! She begs me to go haha.

Dory - aaahh the beauty of ms! On one hand, you want it so bad! On the other, it sucks cos your energy is lower than low and you feel like your best friend is a bucket, or a toilet. haha. Well I'll be happy to take over and do enough exercise for the both of us! I put on so much extra weight at christmas that i've stepped it up a bit more this week, and i'm happy that i did cos i've dropped 3.5kgs already this week. It normally goes that way, if i push it hard enough i'll get up to 4kgs on the first week and then 1kg per week after that. I only have 3.5kg left to get back to my normal prechristmas body! Well I don't go to the gym on Fridays, so today i'll be back in the garden and probably take DD for a bike ride and i'm thinking a picnic in the park. Will think of you while i'm dragging that kiddy trailer behind my bike up those hills! Hope you're feeling better soon. xx

Well I'm a Lorna Jane addict (which helps because my business is in retail promotions and LJ's a client of mine!), so i'm bidding on loads of new things on ebay! I spent hundreds of dollars at their stores in december so i figure i'll try to get some new things a little cheaper this time round. So funny, DD won't wear anything else now because it's not Lorna Jane haha. She has all of the LJ kids collection. I'm hoping to get some new crop top / sports bras, they're so comfortable and holy moly - talk about cleavage!! hehe.

AFM- my scan today showed a 9.5mm lining and a nice fat 19mm follie so I have my insemination tomorrow at 9am. :crossfingers: Amazing how with the injections they can get me from AF to O in 11 days when it can take me 25 days on my own (so signature a bit out)!!

TCCALC - I had a pituitary tumour when I was a teenager. They medicated me - bromocriptine for the tumour and inderal for the migraines. Took a while to get on track with what was the correct dose but within 18 months it had completely disappeared. They anticipated it would degenerate into a cyst but it didn't leave anything behind. Was a great result. I was, however, told that I would be infertile and for many years I was unable to fall pregnant. The docs kept telling me that if I was somehow able to fall preg that it would sort out all my hormones etc. Well, I concluded I was never going to be a mum so although I used contraceptives, I wasn't too careful about it and ended up falling pregnant totally unexpectedly with DD1. Thankfully, at the time, it was something we both wanted so it wasn't a problem. DD2 came along very easily after that and it seems I haven't had any problems much with falling preg since then, just with staying that way sometimes. I hope they're able to sort out your tumour without operation and that everything works for you. Glad that it's stable. Mine was very little - only the size of a pea but man did it disrupt things.

oh and loved my new future ob! What a breath of fresh air! Feeling very positive about him! He even did u/s of uterus. Said endo lining was 13mm thick, consistant of where i should be at this stage of my cycle but said it could also be consistant with very early preg! Oh please please! Lovely man and very understanding- said when it does happen; i can have scans as often as i need! Xx

afm i have had the weirdest thought today. before my m/c everyone i knew that had babies had girls, and now everyone i know is now having boys. nothing else to report from me :)
Well I must report AF is sure punctual in my house guess I should be greatful for that at least she don't keep me waiting and waiting !

craftymummy9 we must be cycle buddies. I have a 31 day cycle and now CD3 so lets pray we are belly buddies for October. I would like an Oct bub but I wanted a July, August, September one too and every other month.

Emmy - i had a giggle at your last post.. i too would have loved a January, February, March, April, May, June, July, Augor Sept baby... but i'm happy with an October baby too! haha.. whenever it happens, i'm happy with that! haha. I do want to be pregnant during summer if i can, because I hate the thought of a poor newborn being icky sticky hot and being unable to do anything about it.
Crafty - I'm slightly jealous of your punctual AF! I just wish that if i'm not UTD, AF could at least be kind enough to pay me a punctual visit like she did you! spf - isn't it funny how that happens? I have always noticed that it goes in cycles like that. Although, when i had DD there was only a handful of girls born in that month in the same hospital, so i guess i'm an exception to that rule haha. And thanks about the weight loss... it's not always an easy road, and i have had problems with my weight all my life. I was over 120kgs, so i'm happy that i'm only 68kgs now (i'm almost 6ft tall so that's actually quite small for me) but i want to get back to my ideal weight of 65 so i'm happy to let you sit back and i'll do enough exercise to cover you too!!
Thopes - glad you found a great OB. And I have my fingers crossed for you that it is a sign of early pregnancy and not AF!!!

Hello to everyone else, and i hope you all had a great day.
AFM - nothing much happened today. Still no AF, no sign of her either. The neighbours next door are about 2 metres away from DDs bedroom with music louder than a niteclub (and no, i'm not exaggerating!)... so i kindly yelled for them to turn it down as my child is sleeping in that room... well they weren't too happy about it... but they turned it down... haha, i realised it's teenagers home alone so i'm sure they'll be good now as i'll just see their parents tomorrow if they're not.
Aargh, i just wish i was pregnant already! I'm just being impatient now! DP and I agreed we wouldn't really want a December baby as that's already too expensive for us with christmas, my birthday and my grans birthday... plus I told him that I want us to get married on the day the world is meant to end (21.12.12) which means that if the world doesn't end we'll also have our anniversary in December hahaha. Last cycle i told him to have his way with me in my sleep just to be sure haha... it was great motivation for him to get some extra BDing done! lol..and of course I woke up pretty fast every time! so basically i've got to hurry up and get UTD very fast, or wait til after DD's birthday. That's if DP changes his mind about giving up our ttc plans :(

they thought it was pressing on my optic nerve so they thought they was going to have to remove it but come to find out it wasnt...
In 2005 i was DX with it being 1cm then by 2007 it was 8 so it started to grow rapidly but then stopped but im thinking its starting to mess up again cause my migranines are even more tense latley.. but i have tolerated the pain for 5 yrs so im usually use to it..

Well I'm a bit bummed and very confused. The IUI went fine but donor daddy's pre wash count was 19 million with 95% motility and post wash it was 3 million with 95% motility. I have been googling all afternoon and can find no explanation for the huge loss in perfectly good sperm other than (and I hate to think this would be true) the clinic specifically trying to make it hard to concieve so we'd be pushed into IVF. I just don't get where 16 million decent sperm get lost to!!! :think: :dunno: Washing is only supposed to get rid of dead and poor sperm and semen. The clinic people did not think it was a bad count even though last time they'd told me they like at least 5 million for an IUI?!?!. Think I need to ask some more questions :shakehead:
I know we only need one and that the motility is great but I'd just rather think there was 19 million of them trying to get to the eggie than 3 million!
Sunbeam I have no idea why they would loose so much out of that count....but rest assured, if it is going to work, babe it will. I hope you don't have to move on to IVF, I hope this last IUI works and you get your healthy baby, I truly do XXX

Well, for the Big Big news......OMG what a trip!! Our little emby (Harvey..... DH has decided to name it) is big, fat, healthy and back inside MummaCod!! They even gave me a picture of him!!!! I was amazed. The actual ET procedure was a mix of loosing all of my dignity..(as all us girls have to having vaginas) and watching the most amazing thing happen, glad it is done now X
DH took me out after and we had the most wonferfull evening, I got so spoilt, I recon if I had of asked him to buy me a BMW he would have....:doh: darn I knew I forgot to do something yesterday!!!!!:lol:
Was so weird and awesome to wake up thismorning, knowing what is 'there', and all of the wondering, that goes with it.

ciara.e wow! that is a lot of weight you have lost, it's a whole person! we must be pretty similar body wise as i am almost 6 ft and last time i weighed myself (at 10 weeks pg) i was 65kg. i must admit it's not down to exercise, i just inherited good genes :)
this is also my last cycle ttc for a while. if it doesn't happen this time i have to wait till may, so :crossfingers: for us both!
also that last day on earth song is my little :angel: song. it was on all the time i lost my little one, so can't even listen to it without crying :( is it kind of weird for a wedding but would be perfect for 21.12.12 :)
