erybery - Seems like you could do with a big Since my loss, I too have been stressing about TTC a lot more than I did first time round. I just try to remind myself that even if we don't conceive this cycle, there are still special moments DH and I can share just the two of us. Sending you lots of
jenushka - Thanks for thinking of me. I am feeling a little better than I was last week. Work has been busy so I think thats helped keep me occupied. I'm just hanging out to talk to my doctor next week. for you and for your little one.
jackjack - I hope the gyno and naturopath work for you.
meh -
Ruthie - So glad you're mum is gonna be okay. And yay for HI. Goodluck with the FS. Hopefully now you can get the help and support you need.
mollycat - I wish I could have your 'zen' attitude. You seem to be in a really good place. And you never know, BFPs could be contagious.
AJC - The other night, DH actually told me that the only reason he wanted me was to make a baby! LOL
Chappas - Woohoo!!!!!! I am soooooo excited! Congratulations! Do you know yet how far along you are? We will only be days apart!!!
Fifi - Congratulations on your wedding date. I know it is going to be a spectacular day as it is the day Zachary was born!!! Good luck xxx
Smilanatu - I am so happy your scan went well and your bub is healthy!!
Erybery - Thanks hun. When it is time to TTC I think we all become a bit obsessive so don't be too hard on yourself. I don't think anyone but people who are TTC will understand just how stressful it can be - and how disappointing it can be when we get a BFN. I am praying you get the BFP you so deserve. If you are pg you can put the cruise on hold (save up for my wedding as we are getting married on a cruise!)
meh - Sending you a big
Ruthie - I am so happy the news is good for your mom! I am doing a happy dance right now for you both! I can't put into words how happy I am for you.
Mollycat - Thinking of you xx
Hannah - Hope you are feeling a bit better
AFM - I am hoping to get an appointment soon with the OB and Diabetic specialist. They said I would get a letter in the mail!!! This is when I don't have patience (Smilanatu ) SO waiting for that so we can get things on track.
Hannahd - Thankyou! Its great that your dh is so supportive.
Erybery- Thankyou! Know how it feels to be stressing, its so hard to think of anything else.
Jackjack - Glad you are feeling more hopeful, break to the sunshine coast sound just what you need.
Ruthie - Thats great news about your mum and that you got your appointment for the specialist.
Mollycat - for you
Ajc - Thankyou, Big hugs for baby samuel
Zacharysmom - Thankyou, checked my due date this morning is around 21st sept

AFM - Made appointment with midwife today 10th Feb, also seeing doctor next week as have to get some tests done as suffered bad with gest diabetes and pre-eclampsia when carrying DD
Chappas, Theresa, HannahD, AJC & Molycat: THANK YOU!!! ♥ I'm so very happy and excited. My mom is so relieved even though she is not looking forward to the poking and cutting her boobs again. But they have to get that out.
I know my FS apptmnt. will be mostly talking about my history and all that.. but I know it will be a step forward to achieving y dream this year. I'm so putting all my heart into this....this is the only way I can have a baby.. with meds and a FS monitoring my babba every week. I know I get all emotional when good things happen... but it's that my heart has taken so much in the past few months.. I feel sore. lol (literally)
God bless you all and may these coming months be full of good (baby) surprises to all of us!!
Fifi: Congrats on the wedding date!! I too can say it was the best day of my life.. my honeymoon topped it!!! ..Then Erick's birth topped it all off...lmao
There is only ONE thing I have to say... (a weird joke really)
" You can regret the groom..BUT NEVER THE DRESS!!!!!!!!"
To my TTCing friends.. ****lots of BABY DUST this month***
chappas--OMG, OMG, OMG!! Congrats on your BFP!! Thrilled for you, hon... wishing you a happy and healthy 9 mo's!!
HannahD--Glad to read that you're feeling better! I'm really wishing I could give your DH a big hug for being so sweet and supportive to you! Not only does he sound supportive, but super excited and determined to bring you your dream come true!
and big, big *hugs* for jenushka, rach, Mel, AJC, & meh
fifi--Congrats on setting your wedding date! You're going to be a busy girl... baby plans, wedding plans... is that why you missed chat this am? lol.... Big *hugs* and bellyrubs!! Oh, and have to say Yay for those little alien moves--I LOVED watching my belly shift from side to side! It really does look like there's an alien moving around in there, doesn't it? rofl...
smi--So happy and relieved for you that your scan went well! Sounds like you've got a wild one in there!
mollycat--Missed our chat this morning! I woke up and nobody was online! I'm happy that we get to occasionally chat during the week--but wish we could more often! *hugs*
erybery--It's so hard not getting your hopes up each month... and so frustrating and defeating when it doesn't work out the way we hoped! Just try to enjoy wearing those BD'ing shoes... and if you can, try to focus on the time you're spending with your DH instead of time that you're "baby dancing" (IYKWIM)... maybe that will take some pressure off both of you. Sending lots of *babydust* your way!!
jackjack--I had such a hard time finding the smilies when I joined! I think everyone thought I was the biggest bonehead because everyone else has a little happy face that they can click on when they're posting to access the smilies... well, I have a Mac... so I don't have that little smilie icon to click on when I post! Like mollycat said, I had to go up to the "user profile" and then "edit signature" to even get to see the smilies. Then once I found them, I had to write them all down on paper so that I didn't have to go thru all those steps just to put smilies in my posts! Now I've got them all memorized, so it's easy for me to just type in the code... but imagine how lame people thought I was for not clicking on an icon that wasn't even there! rofl... Good luck, and can't wait to see your sig!
Ruthie--SO thrilled to hear your mom is cancer free!!! What a blessing! All this great news must be a sign of good things to come for you this year! Congrats on the health insurance, as well! What made me the happiest, hon, was the end of your post when you wrote "finally smiling"! You've needed to smile for TOO long!! Big *hugs*
Got a call from the doctor yesterday...when I went in on Monday my urine had some protein...then on Wednesday my BP was high...150/80 (actually very high for me I'm usually around 85/65) anyway we kind of dismissed it because I was soooo nervous about the scan...turns out my urine on Wednesday had even more protein so now I have to do a 24hr catch...I am so worried because I have Lupus and it is really early in my pregnancy for preeclampsia...
Please keep us in your
Congrats chappas!
Congrats to all the Let's keepem' comin'!
Theresa...LOL...patience has never been a quality I possess *wink*
Hope all my girls in Oz have a great weekend! For us US gals... it's Friday!

For the too many of us that are TTC: mollycat, Toccara, WTH, Ruthie, MO3B, dellydoo, HannahD, HannahS, babymiracles, TY, Dutchy, Maternal Bride, Emmanue, Caleb's mum, Polly, Rmercimek, princess, maddysmum, Indy, Mannie, Acria, Mel, buliej, tempus, mumstheword, erybery, hopingfor2009, firstbub, rach, Shortcake, PandaGirl, Karen van, jackjack, meh, & anyone else that I may have missed... lots of for us all!! Saying lots of for our 2009 BFP's!!!
I am sooooo happy there has been anothe 2 BFP's within days of mine , that's so awesome. Come on ladies let set the record for my BFP's in one month especially you Jen, it is your time. 2 wks to go.
Dont have too much time as I'm about to have dinner. I saw the gyno on Friday and have had bloods taken. Will get the results Monday. He also had a very old ultrasound machine..... all we could see what a black dot in the middle of gray but that's good enough for me. I have a proper U/s on 30/01/09 so looking forward to that. I am so lucky this guy understands and is working with me really closely to get me to past the first trimester. Still can't decide whether to keep going to the chinese herbalist - any advice??
Hi Everyone - cannot believe we have moved into a January thread already for our TTC posse
to Theresa (Zachary's Mom) and Easha for your wonderful news - a H & H 9 months to both of you in this year of the Golden Ox!!!!!!!!
Ruthie - I was so glad to hear about your mum's results - that is excellent - hopefully you can feel a bit of the weight lifting off you now
hannahD - you have such courage and honesty - these are incredible allies in the fight against depression - do you feel the depression cycles or is random - sometimes the pattern can be revealing - good luck with TTC!!!!
Toccara50 - I feel for you with the EDD coming up soon - mine isn't until later in the year and I am not sure yet how I will feel about it - it is hard with m/cs as you have two emotional anchors from them - the day you m/c or found out and the expectations of the EDD hanging around out there for you to deal with. I don't know but I feel the most important thing can be to acknowledge that time and allow yourself to feel what you need to regardless of how anyone else feels about it - we allow ourselves to celebrate the happy occasions I think it is sad that our society has such an issue with honouring our tragedies and losses of our lives - they are what define our character and our appreciation of the better times...
meh - this is a response to a post you made quite a while back - but in keeping with the internal spring cleaning I am doing of my life - I am wanting to try and allow all the energies to have clear channels. With my little one - the memorial DP and I created helped immensely - we went to our favourite beach, found a beautiful little sapling with a sea view and buried our little one with a marker and candles - nestled between the elements of earth and sea. I have not been back to visit since but I gain immense comfort from knowing that our little one was respected and rests in such a lovely place. Doing this seemed to let the floodgates open and it felt like a completion at the time - and with a little help from herbal tonics and some wonderful infusions - the emotional balancing of those wacked out hormones has brought us to a good place
Hello to the incredible beautiful souls of jackjack, jenushka, Shortcake, babymiracles, rach2281 (you are amazing), megsmum and jen805 and my huge apologies to anyone I might of missed who I hold in the highest regard and wish no end of to in this journey we are all on.
Last but hopefully not least - I just wanted to say it has been fantastic standing tall in the support of everyone here and I would like to say - is in the building - and I would like to thank everyone for helping us get to this point!!!!!! Our little Golden Ox hopefully will be with us later this year and if he (I don't know why - I just feel like the little tacker is likely to be a boy) feels we're want he needs - we would be ecstatic to have him join our family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello everyone. Sorry for lack of persies but I am babysitting. Still no sign of AF and I'm now 3 days late. I tested and got a BFN 2 days ago. I'm going to wait a few days and test again. Still praying for a BFP!
Ok, this is a little unusual.... does anyone else notice a difference in responding to a post? My little reply box is in a different place... and as I'm typing this I actually have access to the smilies--which is normal for you girls, but for my Mac... very different! As I mentioned just the other day, I have them memorized, otherwise I have to go up into the user profile/edit signature to even see them! It's cool.... I guess I'm just tripping.... in almost a year of being a member, this is the first time there's been a change in the way I respond to a post! And how cool is it to actually just click on the smilie you want, instead of having to always type it in! Yay me!
Oh maaaaan, but now I can't change the colors!
HannahD--It's tough, but try to remember that you can't rush perfection! Your perfect little earth bound angel is imminent, and when you're blessed with your miracle, everything will be perfect! Enjoy your alone time with DH for now, because, trust me, once you lose that time, it's sorely missed!
Ruthie--Yay for sleeping in! Woke up to temp at 5:20, but got to go back to sleep until 7:30!! Could've been later, but DF was feeling a little randy this morning! It figures! Hope you have a great weekend!
Mannie--Good luck with Weight Watchers! I know several people that have lost a bunch of weight while on it! I'm sure once your thyroid levels are where they're supposed to be, it will help with the weight loss--having a under-active thyroid makes those lbs.(oh, sorry, kg's) much harder to lose. *hugs* and lots of luck!
Easha--Would love to set the record for BFP's in a thread in 1 month! That would be a great kick-off for the new year! Glad to hear you have such a supportive Gyn that's willing to help you thru the first trimester--and Yay for little black dots! Just think, that little black dot is the fruit of your labor...the seed that you've sown...your miracle in the process! I'm thrilled for you! Good luck with your BT results on Mon! Not sure about the chinese herbalist... but I think that several of the other girls continued on with the herbalist while they were pg... could be wrong, tho, so don't quote me on it! lol... maybe someone else can help you out a little more! I can at least help you out by seending lot's of
Polly--It's hard not to feel the stress and anxiety, and to over-analyze every sign and symptom while on this bumpy TTC journey. *hugs* However, you're certainly not alone in this! For me, I found that I was less inclined to want to DTD if it wasn't a fertile time in my cycle, so I had to really make the effort to spend extra time with my DF during the non-fertile times, as well! To keep things "alive" we started watching kinky movies together (sorry, ) and I found it really worked for us. Anyone who's been here long enough, I'm sure remembers that topic of conversation! BUT, just so you know.... I'm not the only perv around here.... Enjoy your time with DH!
Karen van--Wow, that was a quick one! Congrats on your BFP! Wishing you a healthy, happy, and sticky 9 mo's!! Big *hugs*
chappas--Aww, thanks, hon! *hugs* I'm so glad that I got to sit beside you thru this bumpy journey over the last 9/10 months! I've really enjoyed getting to know you--hope you'll still hang out here with us for a while!
