This is a different brand than what I normally use but I was thinking of going out and getting another test. Or I might get DH to pick up one on the way home so I can do it with him here.

    HI all,

Haven't been on for a few days and missed a few pages..chatterboxes!!!
Hi all the new people, hope your stay is short & sweet!!

SammyP: It sounds promising, get a different test...how exciting!!

AFM: I had my eyebrows waxed & eyelashed tinted this morning, part of my whole trying to make myself feel good again project, which is working by the way!! i finshed my antibiotics on saturday after like 17 days, its so nice to be regaining my taste again instead of the awful taste they gave me. I have my ob appointment tomoro so hopefully that goes smoothly and i get the all clear. feel like AF could be on her way, which is exciting, i would love her to come exactly 28 days after the d&c. DH and i are going away from sat-wed on a little get away, i can't wait, it's exactly what we need. Anyway i could blabber on all day, hope everyone is well!!

Sammy P: It is sounding very likely! A friend of mine had only a shadow where the positive line should be and so tested the next day (as she wasn't convinced) and got a definite BFP. Test first thing tomorrow and let us all know. With all of my BFN's I have looked from every angle, held them up to different lights etc and they still were definite -ve. I will wait until tomorrow before I start with my congratulations although I have a feeling it will be needed.

Hi girl's just a quicky before work i have been emailing all the poly's today about the medicare cut's to ivf that are supose to be decided on this week .

Sammy-as far as i'm concerned a line is a line however faint it means the test can detect the hcg hormone i have only ever had a line if i am pregnant it might be just a bit early so very faint but my fingers are crossed for you.

I rang DH and asked if he could buy another test on the way home and he said "well don't use them all at once this time". I wish he could be less practical and more emotional. I felt like hanging up on him.

Sammy- I am praying that it really is a BFP! I just wanted to share this... a couple months before we conceived our second angel, I took a test and it came up negative. Well, about an hour later, I looked at it again just to be sure (isn't it silly how obsessive we can get?) and there was a line there. After much research, I found out that if the line shows up after the amount of time specified (usually 5-10 minutes) then it is invalid. I didn't want to believe that at the time, but sure enough AF showed up a couple days later. I am really really hoping and keeping my fingers crossed that it is a BFP though! I just wanted to share my own experience because a lot of women don't believe that a false line can show up once in a while if you wait long enough. I'll be thinking of you and PRAYING you get a darker line when your DH gets home! And I know what you mean about him being too practical. Mine is exactly the same way. That's why I had to stock up on cheap tests from ebay.

    Talking :D

SammyP: oooh im so excited to know! -=- btw i also have had a faint positive b4 after a while of looking at it that was false.. so it can happen, but its unlikely, usually a line means a baby hormone I soo wanna find out now! Tell us as soon as u know! LOL at ur DH, men really are out of the loop sometimes! Next time he gets a 6 pack and some friends over, tell him DONT DRINK THEM ALL AT ONCE THIS TIME!

AFM-=- Im excited today, for a little tmi, me and dh have been doing alot of dancing the last few days as i knew i was about to O.. Anywho I have a maybe baby (saliver tester) that came up more positive today than ive ever seen! Its so nice to know that im ovulating! So our timeing lately couldnt have been better, Heres hopeing I get a nice big fat bfp for this by the end of the month.. Now that I know this i just know the TWW starting next week is going to be long and aggitating hehehe and ill be doing a million tests by the end of it... wish me luck!

Kyrawolfe - Arent the maybe baby things so exciting when you finally work out how to use it and get ferning. I was so happy the first time i got mine to fern. Its amazing what us TTCers get excited about!!! Good work on the bd timing. I hope its your month!!

SammyP - You are keeping us all in suspense but also dont be disheartened if you get a BFN cos you wont be using FMU. Save a test for the morning! Im so excited for you.

AFM - I just got some good news from a friend. Ive mentioned her a few times on here. She lost twins at about 23 weeks and then not long after have an early m/c. Well she has told me she is once again expecting and everything is going along well for her. Its the best news and she deserves to be a mum so much.

Im pretty sure the maybe baby has a time limit. Like you are meant to check it after no longer than 10 minutes so im guessing after that it starts to dissappear. Ive noticed that it does that too. But it does look really cool.
I found it hard to use to start with. I dont think it works for everyone but i have to put a fair bit of saliva on it and i just keep checking it until it dries. I dont worry about how long its been drying for.

Kyrawolfe - i have a similar one called Ovatel. I am due to O either tomorrow or Thurs, so i got it out this morning and i had a feint patch of ferning. Will be doing it again in the morning. Dont know how reliable these are but its interesting and i like the novelty of it.
I hope i do O when i am sposed to cause we had our dtd cutoff yesterday and the little spermies can only hang around for so long.

ETA: Mine says to check after 5 mins - should be dry by then. I found that it was hard to get used to in regards to how much saliva to use. Sort of have it under control now.

Sammy: now I will have to log on during work because I just HAVE to know your result I am hoping to see a BFP (I'm sure you are to!)

Kyra: Good luck with all the bd you been up to...least if you don't get a BFP you had fun lol...fingers crossed though.

Sparkles: fingers crossed for the coming month for you...it would be great if we could move to the next stage all together...make the stressful time so much better.

AFM: I'm having a *sob* wanna be preg day. Not completely devestated but hating being thin. Am due to O about next Friday so as long as I do on that day the chances are good for me but I don't want to wait. Want to test now and be +ve (not possible I am aware). Don't have anything happy or positive to say so that is my rant and I'm gonna head off.

Im so excited to start trying this month! Hurry up!!!

I made a beautiful dinner for Anthony & I tonight...I even set the table with the good flatware, stemware and I typed up little menu's hehe

    Hello Lovelies,

OMG it has taken me so long to read all the posts I nearly don't have time to reply.

Nat and Cickybabe- I'm so sorry to hear of your losses but I'm glad you have felt able to join us and get the loving support that is always here.

Coco-I seem to be doing much better with my mother since my counselling its almost like I can detach from the fact that she gave birth to me and that she is now just the woman my dad lives with. It is very different between us now. Still think we should shoot them both Can I come for dinner it looks yummmm!

Cherished-just wanted to say I hope thursdays tests are all as good as the ones that came back already.

    Maddison-thanks for missing me

Toomanyshoes-so sorry to hear about your baby nephew that is so tragic no one should have to go through that.

SammyP- SOOOO wishing you good luck for tomorrows test

afm-I am o'ing got the stongest positive I've ever had on my opk yesterday so guessing clomid has done its thing. Have done 3 inseminations so far and doing tonight and tomorrow morning. Hope its this month I'm unfortunately totally sick with a cold but really don't care as I'm o'ing. I had coffee with my friend who got pg the same week as me. I had not seen her since we caught up when we were both 6 weeks. It was hard for the first 5 mins but then I was okay and still very happy for her, she is having a girl and is convinced her little Ella (lost at 19 weeks) has returned to her. I am also totally okay now with the fact that if I do get pg this month I will be due on the same day I had both my m/cs. Feel like its a sign.
Okay gotta go get spermies for my little egg.

    Have a great night.

Coco - ETA is Extra To Add. If you think of something you want to add you can go in and edit your post. You dont have to put ETA - it just lets people know it was an added extra IYKWIM.

    Awesome Pie !
