Good luck for those on the TWW - hope we'll hear some good news from you soon.
Re: Charting and OPK's. I use both and did when we conceived ds. I found that the opk told me when o was about to happen so we'd dtd over the next few days, untill I saw my temp rising then o had happened and we dtd for that day and the day after and hope that we caught it. It really gave me an idea of exactly where i was at. i started to see a pattern that after a positive opk, i o'd 3 days after. i guess if you were just using opk's and thought it was happening within 24hrs you may miss the egg, but knowing with the temp kept us dtd untill we saw that i had o'd. Does this make sense? I used opk's last time i fell pregnant too and got a bfp straight away. I'm using them again this cycle even though we're not trying again untill next month. I just like to know that i have the double knowledge that /and when i'm o'ing. this sounds like a big babble. sorry. i love talking about this stuff.
Tina - sorry to hear your loss. You'll love it here. Everyone is great!
hope everyone is well.
i'm getting ready to settle down with warm milk and 'brothers and sister', maybe a biscuit too - just love the choc coated scotch fingers!!!mmmmmm
smallfryplus - you might have to use the opk's a few times b4 it will show you a positive result. also, if you think you are o'ing now, you might not get a positive on an opk cause the surge has already happened. i think you'll only get a positive b4 you ovulate, not just as you are?
another tip - best to use them in the arvo between 2 and 5 and at the same time each time.
please let me know if this is stuff you already know - i can get a bit over excited about sharing what i know. sorry in advance if i'm being a pain.
thanks for the info Jules, I just randomly used one to see if it was even showing a faint positive but couldn't have been more negative if it was dry! Used it around midday but didn't really expect it to be anything other than negative as I was around CD22 or something and just going nuts! I think it was a bit of a substitute for an HPT!! lol
Will keep your tips in mind for next month though assuming I get a next Monday.
Ahhh... June... I just noticed I haven't turned any of my calendars... time flies. Happy winter everyone!!! Love that frosty nip in the air. This is the first time in years that Melbourne has felt like it's having a real winter!
So i tested again this morning and i got a bfn with an ebay cheapie and a forelife, so either they are not good tests, im out on my dpo or im just not utd!
My boobs hurt really bad, and i have a tad queasy feeling in my throat and im tired.
and i would have been 10 weeks 2 days pregnant today if i didnt have that stoopid mc!!!!
Hey Anila, how many DPO are you? Could still be too early. I was 4w5d before I showed pos last time.
Funny, I was doing calcs in my head last night about how far I would have been now too. It got too depressing so I gave up. This time I'm not even looking at what would be an EDD.
hey Smallfryplus, today i am cd 29 11-12 dpo.
Im so worried that i may be out on my o, and if that is the case then we didnt bd enough, i got o pain on cd 17, 18 and 19. I had small small ewcm on cd 18, i usually o cd19, we bd on cd 10,13,15, 17, 18, 27.
Then a week later i have that pop and falling feeling in my tummy.
This is just too hard, this journey was hard enough with out having a mc, now it just seams even harder.
Im so glad i have u guys, thanks.
I have been trying to conceive for 3 years. There was one ectopic preg and multiple times of chemical pregnancies. I almost want to give up. Yesterday I tested positive and today it becomes faint line (now should be in week 4 + 5 days). So I think I got a chemical preg again. I just can feel it coming because I lost the symptom at cycle 28th day when I felt a short and sharp pain. No blood, nothing. Just lost the symptoms after that... now just waiting the period to come... I did a blood test yesterday as instructed by GP, I'd only know the results tmr...
I just arrive to Sydney not long ago and I need help! Can someone recommend good fertility specialists (better to be female) who are patient? I hope it will be near Chatswood... I always go to Clinics but I think I need a specialist to tell me what's going on in my body....
