    Hi everyone,

There are some new girls on here since I last posted so welcome to you all and I hope your stay here is short.

For those of you who do know who I am I just wanted to jump on and let you know that unfortunately we lost little peanut and I had a d&c on Friday. I am obviously still recovering physically and emotionally and it will be a long road back. It's a bit too painful to go into detail and you can read it on the PAML thread if you want but basically we went through 2 weeks of hell waiting from scan to scan to see if our little one's heartbeat would get stronger. Eventually it stopped altogether, classed as a missed m/c.

Sorry to write bad news on this thread but I thought some of you may have wanted to know.

I wish you all the best of luck and hope to see some more BFP's soon!

    Greenslw - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mel - Hello Mel, I'm very sorry for your loss.

Question ladies - If I had ov pain for 2 days, would I have ov'd on the first or the second day of pain? (I didn't temp).

Can I also have a rant - extended family function today ...... all the inlaws, aunts, uncles, cousins etc on DH side.
And then they ask the inevitable question: "When are you two going to have kids" Even when I did some dodging around the question, THEY KEPT ASKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That makes me so mad. You would never say to someone who was overweight "when are you going to loose weight" because that would be personal and insensitive. Go figure. Rant Rant Rant. What I should have said to them was NONE OF YOUR $%*&@$# BUSINESS!!! OK, I've finished now.

    Hi Everyone,

    Congratulations Greenslw!!

Mel1979 - I was in the same boat as you. I had my d&c on Friday too for a missed m/c. But I actually m/c naturally the night before (which was the most terrible, painful experience ever). Still had to have the procedure because not everything had gone.

I am going to ttc straight away (despite opinions of waiting for 1 period).

Hoping for a bfp soon! Good luck to everyone

Greenslw-great new's i this one is a sticky one for you.

Sunny09-not my month this month but that's ok i want to find out what's going on when we see the geneticist on the 10th so when i do get pregnant i know our options.

Mel1979-sorry to see you are back here again

Milly5-i know what you mean i get when are you going to try again or are you pregnant yet or the best is what's taking so long your not getting any younger.

Grake-sorry to see you have had to join this thread but welcome hope you get your BFP soon.

I'm still trying to stay optimistic until the 10th the way i see it, it can't get any worse (I hope) 25% chance of affected baby or 75% chance of a healthy baby what would you guy's do

    Hi Grake,

Sorry for your loss. I had a natural m/c in Nov 2007 so I know how physucally painful they are not to mention emotionally. I have been having pretty bad cramping the last couple of days but I know that is normal. Good luck with your TTC journey . DH & I have to decided to wait one cycle and then start trying again. Going to speak to our ob first since it is our 2nd loss.

Ferrals - I would say 75% chance in your favour is way better than 25%. I think it is great you are trying to stay optimisitc (I know how hard it must be, I just spent 2 weeks trying to stay positive). Those odds are good though, I hope it all works out for you

    Greenslw - Congratulations!

    Greenslw!!! Congrats! that is fantastic

Grake - welcome, I'm really sorry to hear what you've gone through. And I say go for it with trying again right away.

ferrals - I'm with Mel on this, 75% is definitely stronger chances than 25%. I say see the geneticist and then get right in there and keep trying.

Mel1979, really sad to see you back in here again.

Milly - people suck. I've been trying to tell everyone that for years! No-one believes me though. You could always put them to shame and just lose the plot in front of them, yell, scream, cry, tell them exactly what you've been through and then storm out and refuse to talk to them until they apologise.

AFM I have no idea if I have ovulated. I don't normally until around day 17 which would be tomorrow but have had cramping over the last day or two that kind of felt like o but I can't tell because for some reason am really gassy. Haven't been charting temps long enough to find out if I have o yet or not. CM is all over the place sometimes there, sometimes not, different textures. I have no idea anymore.

What I love so much about this thread is the ability to feel other people's happiness and sadness with news coming through. Knowing what is behind the emotions. It regularly reduces me to tears.

    Thanks ladies

hmmm fresh round of cramping... that's pretty clear o pain this time. BD last night so heres to hoping this is the start of something good.

on that note, I should remove the kittens from their comfy warm spots on me and go to uni and study for the rest of the day. Just seems such a shame to disturb their sleep... (that and I can't be bothered finishing this jolly assignment!)

Went for BT this morning and the nurse was a little "well I donno" about my Home test. I guess they don't believe anything they don't do.

Told DP about it and he wasn't as as me either, I guess he's freaking about the little blood on tuesday and just wants everything to be perfect. it will be

I'm sick, I want to put my head in a bucket and I'm so busy at work this week. Blah, no time to enjoy.

Will ring the clinic at 12 and will let you know all the good news

Hi kiwi_gal and in a sad way, welcome to the thread. Sorry to hear about your experience. I strongly suspect that my most recent mc was ectopic - the pains were all in the wrong place to be anything other but I mc at 5 weeks naturally and hadn't seen a doc about it so can't be sure. All the best with your TTC and remember this is the place to go when you need to offload

coco - hope things look up for you and sorry to hear you're having probs with your mum. Mine can be so insensitive at times...
