Dory - me neither - I see people riding up the mountains from Penrith and I don't know how they do it - so steep. Sounds like an amazing book. I learned to crochet when I was holed up at home for months on end after my endometriosis operations. It is good for keeping you still that's for sure - I still do it, mostly making baby blankets for friends but I did pull off a few ponchos that I was rather proud of (kids size mostly, though I did do one for my friend and her little girl). I can't knit though - way too hard but have hopes to get try again one day.
