murraycod - 27 OMG that is AMAZING!!! Best of luck for a great fertilisation rate.
Hello ladies!
Well im back from my camping trip. I wld love to say that it was a huge success.. but it wasnt :(
AF hung around the whole time, i was continuously doing opk's and they were always just coming up with a faint positive line. I dont know if it is AF or something else.. U really shldnt get AF after taking clomid. I did read in the clomid leaflet that a side effect is spotting or heavy menstrual bleeding.. But i just dont get it! How can u conceive whilst bleeding??! i dont think its really possible.. i just dont think sperm wld like swimming in blood! I dont understand why this is happening, when i took clomid the first time everything went to plan. I got home this afternoon and just felt like crying and crying.. i am so so annoyed and frustrated that my body is doing this. The only hope i have now is that this by some chance is AF and i will O when dh gets back next friday.. i dont like my chances but i guess it cld be possible. Maybe my body has ignored all the progesterone and clomid pills i have taken and done its own thing. We got 2 good bd's in.. last nite and this morning, AF disappeared for a brief few hrs, but then i bled all day today so i dont think there is any chance of a success story here! I dont even know where i am in this cycle anymore.
And to put an even bigger dampener on my trip away was that my gorgeous little pup got hold of a pork chop bone from one of dh's workmates dinner plates.. and swallowed it down whole! Pretty sure it is stuck in her throat cos she has been doing little coughs and gagging every so often. I took her straight to the vet this arvo.. and she is booked in for xrays tomoro, they will sedate her and see whats going on. My poor little baby :( & my poor wallet!! its going to cost $350 minimum.. shes worth every cent tho. All up my little pointless trip away cost $250 on fuel plus vet bill.
Its just SO frustrating cos all these little things are showing me I shldnt have gone away.. i shld have just let things happen without forcing them..
I think like saffy, the clomid is making me very emotional.. i think i cld spend all day everyday crying if i let myself.
I was looking forward to coming back and seeing how u were all doing tho. Im so proud of u murraycod! such wonderful news! I am going to do my persies tomoro.. not in a very good mindframe at the moment. Hugs to you all xxxxx
Hi Ladies
OMG Murarycod. No wonder you were in sooo much pain. Do you have any eggs left in your ovaries lol? Fx you get at least 3/4 fertilized.
Reet- I'm so sorry the camping didn't go so well. I've never had a problem on clomid with bleeding. I didn't know it was a side effect even. Maybe give your FS a call for a please explain?
Hi Alice- No more news on the cramps front lol. I'm still getting them and backache but my temps are all over the place so I can't explain it. They do feel like AF pains but she's not due till next Friday. I don't normally get AF pains until I actually have her. Perhaps it's just my uterus contracting getting ready for AF after the M/C?
MURRAYCOD!!! Amazing news my love, this is so your month! You've got stacks of eggs and you've been taking exactly the right meds, so impressed with you for getting the doc to put you on meds! It doesn't matter if you get a dodgy fertilisation rate (you won't anyway!) cos you only need one that's gonna get all cosy and snuggly for 9 months :) Oof I'm so excited for you! I can't believe you pretty much put yourself on the right medication, you did so so well. This is it babe :)
Reet: Oh no that sucks! I'm sorry it didn't go as planned, those lil spermies can live for a few days so hopefully there will be one waiting when you O. Deep breaths darling, it will be ok.
Porsche: Hope your not too uncomfortable darlin, I got AF like pains the week before I got my BFP...so....y'know...could be very good!
Alice: Sculpture sounds amazing, one of my friends just had her second exhibition, she works mainly with paper though, does a lot of collage, it was incredible to be in this room filled with things she'd created. Hope your going well on the food front! 2 weeks til June now, anxious is good, it means you know the right time is coming :)
T-hopes: Oh no, I'm so sorry your homecoming wasn't so relaxing! I hate preg announcements, I still hate them actually, they just don't go to who they should go to! You can do this darling, you can *hugs*
Crafty: I can knit scarves, but that's about it. My mum tried to teach me to crochet, she said it would be easier. She lied, I found it so much harder! lol! I hope those lil baby clothes your knitting end up on your very own bubba, mwa xo
AFM, I singlehandedly made every person I came into contact with at the Dr's yesterday feel uncomfortable. Sigh. They all kept asking me if this was my first pregnancy, I'd say unfortunately no, they'd laugh and say ah children can be horrors can't they, I'd say I had a miscarriage. Cue awkward silence. I didn't wanna lie about Splat, so it wasn't really the joyous occasion I was hoping for. I came home and cried :( I've got a referral for a 6 week scan next week, praying so hard I get to keep this one. I remember Dory saying once that everyday she was pregnant was a good day, I'm taking that :) So today is a good day :)
:o:o MurryCod!! Have you got any eggs left!!! I really applaud you for being so forthright and getting done what you needed to get done - sometimes WE JUST KNOW SOMETHING ISN'T RIGHT and there he is now, you FS, in shock. Well, I'm glad you aren't the one in shock after another disappointing IVF. This is a really important message for everyone doing IVF. I wish I had been more proactive sooner so well done lovely that is fantastic news and you are so going to get your earth baby I can feel it in my bones!! I remember on my first IVF when I got 5 day 5 blasties and my FS said to me "You could have your whole family in the fridge!" Well girl, I think you could have a few families worth in there if all goes as well as I'm hoping and praying it will for you. Wonderful. I am so stalking you and Kit in the BB forums!!! CONGRATULATIONS brave woman! I hope they all get snug and cosey with DH's swimmers and you get wonderful results. Now rest up!! Let him treat you like a princess, you deserve it!!
Kit - I'm sorry love, it must be such a mixed bag of emotions for you right now. I'm glad you are getting your 6 week scan. I want you to repeat after me "everything will be O.K" - please promise to think about this little one attaching and growing strong and healthy. You can conquer this fear, you can. Bright thoughts, every time you feel it creeping back. x
Reet - sorry you had such a disappointing time :( I hope things settle down and you can figure out what is going on.
Got to get on with work now so back later for catch up with everyone else.
Alice xx
OMG Murraycod - 27 eggs :o well done chook!!!
HI to everyone else - just was popping in to see how murraycod was doing. Will do persie tomorrow once I finish this assignment today...
AFM: 9DPO, I did do a test this morn just for the hell of it but was a BFN...FF has me testing next wed which is the 19th - not sure if I feel comfortable testing on that date as that is the date in jan that I got my BFP with lil one
talk to you later lovelies xoxox
morning everyone!
Yay murraycod, lots of little cods! So excited for you, cant wait to see your bfp!
Just wanted to pop in quickly, tested this morning, bfn, wasnt really expecting much but there is always that glimmer of hope isnt there.....Im going to be sticking around for bfp june! Who is joining me?
Xxxx
Murray! Awesome girl! 27 is just awesome. You must have felt like a jumbo jet! OMG about the NKC! Good for you for insisting. That just makes me so happy (a) that you got that news (b) that you are already being treated. It really augers well for this cycle. Tell your DH you ARE a princess! FET on Monday! That means another trip to Adelaide...
I know how much you hurt after the bioposy – so totally worth it now..... be strong girl. Oh and hope you are feeling less doped up today. Almost wetting my pants from excitement over here!
Ric – good to have you back. Of course you are still welcome :)
Reet – oh sweetie. I don't understand either – can only offer you hugs. Hope your puppy's xray's go ok today.... poor little poochie.
Crafty – thankyou sweetie. I didn't share my thoughts to try to tell you how you should think, just more, sharing how I worked through something that was really hard. Just because you are proud of the man your son is becoming doesn't mean you can't be sad for yourself either.... I saw on the TV that you got a stack of rain over there. Well done. Hope the garden picks up for you.
Thopes – now you've made me blush....
Forshelby – you made by blush for entirely different reasons. Glad you're not broken anymore and good luck with the Bding. A bit of shower time is always good...well except for us, our cubicle is a bit small and we have to open the shower door.... and in winter it means the cold air comes in, not so good for either DH or me! Is that TMI? Anyway – make the most of it! I know what you mean – the other day I was saying how I was knitting and someone retorted - “what are you sixty or something?”. They just don't know what they are missing.
Alice – you are always manage to find such inspirational words! Well done you. Sculpture... I wasn't much of a fan and still am not really, but the occassional piece just hits the spot. When the Gallery of Modern Art opened in Brisbane, I went to check it out and have only been back once since and that was for an exhibition. But there was one room that was quite big and it had a big red dougnut looking thing on the wall. I was mesmerised and must have just sat there for 20 mins or so. It was an amazing experience.
Porsche – poor blossom – you are going through some confusing times. I hope like Kit says that they are signs of something else much longed for.
Kit – so good to hear from you. Sorry yesterday wasn't what you expected. I so know the feeling of “cue the awkward silences” , sometimes I even actively create them., which is a bit naughty. It's not you – people make all sorts of assumptions and then have to try to extract their feet from their mouth. You will say what is right for you at the time. You will find a way to honour both Splat and this bubs. I remember when I first got a BFP the GP was really excited and was saying congratulations all the way out of the consult and was really excited. Not so much with Amelia, and then even less again with the twins and no obvious excitement at all this last time. A bit sad really. Maybe she just ran out of excitement for me cause it was all used up the first couple of times? Sweetie – I still say that! I need to say it to get through! Today is a good day. One day at a time.
Ionna – good to hear from you. How did you feel getting the one line today? Did you expect it? It is early... just couldn't resist huh? Do what you need to to get through. If you're worried about being jinxed by the date, then test on a different one. Hoping you get those two lines.....
Bons - oh bugger about your BFN, When ar you expecting AF? June sounds like a great month for your BFP......
morning everyone, murraycod-great news, hope those swimmers have had a busy night...kitfaerie-i think it is lovely that you acknowledged splat,he'll always be your 1st pregnancy,no-one can take that away from you..ttcalovechild-how did your dr's app go?..bons-sorry it was a bfn...possummagic,porshe & gem-how are you guys?..reet-sorry the trip didn't work out as planned, how did pup go at vets?did you ring your dr about the bleeding..missk-cycles can take a while to get sorted out after a loss , your body has been through a lot.I too find songs emotional..craftymummy-you help keep us sane as well...alice-june will be here soon & your body will be in tip-top shape...dory-how are you feeling, sending dh out for mid-night cravings ??.t-h hopes-you'll be making your own announcement soon...forshelby-sounds like the fun has begun, our ensuite has a double shower, big selling point with dh when we were looking at properties...saffy-have you got any dates for your ivf?..afm-thanks ladies for your well wishes, flu doesn't want to leave me,af doesn't want to arrive
Murray cod yeah I am so excited for you and praying like mad that you have an excellent fertilization rate and don't need any more stim cycles as you have all your babies in those 27eggs collected yesterday. And well done to you on requesting that nasty biopsy for NK cells. You clever girl for insisting and been right. Hope the treatment for it means your BFP is here in a fortnight amd you have a H&H pregnancy with lots of little snow bubs for later on.
Mathew's Mum - I love the sneaky reference to "double shower", all this tcc makes us saucy minxes.... as if we weren't before. Hope you are feeling better, enough to make good use of that shower. :)
Embryologist just rang, he said it is the best fertilisation rate they have seen for a long time, 19 fertilised at perfect grade, so everyone is super happy.
Just drinking river loads of water to hold off OHSS, because the last thing I want out of this is a cancelled ET !!! Am a little sore today, nothing major, just taking it easy as much as possible.
Matthew's mum, tell AF to hurry up, and I hope you start to feel better soon X
Mildez, thanks babe X Yeah I have to admit it was a long shot, every one IRL told me I was pulling at straws and looking on the internet too much, but in the end, it was the most painfull thing I have ever been through, but the most importaint decision I have ever made, and payed off.
I was told, with such a high reading of KNcells, there was no chance anything would survive in that uterus of mine.
Dory, yeup, another trip to Adelaide, 5hrs there and 5hrs back!! Mad aren't I ?!!!!! What we do.
Bons, so sorry you got a BFN, hang in there X
IonaMacca, darl I see you have a significant date comming up, there always seems to be one lurking around the corner isn't there?? We are here for you, and if you decide not to test on that day, well I don't blame you at all. I will send you strength to hold it out and ride it through XXXXXX Take care X
Alice, I just want to thank you for not telling me how excrutiating that darn biopsy was before I had it done, otherwise I would not have gone through with it X So thanks X Your next babe, and I will be here for you every step of the way, like you were me XXXXXX
I know all of this waiting sucks, but you have done us all so proud getting yourself so healthy first X
Good luck today with your Job/ non-job, whichever works out X Am thinking of you!xx
Kit, sweetheart, you have every right to feel anxiouse ATM, no matter what you say, and no matter how you remember Splat, most people won't understand, I wish you the very best for your upcomming scan, you are a very brave girl.
And yes, as Dory has said, try to be happy everyday, and only feel sad or worry when you have to. You have finally got your BFP, so relax, enjoy what you have, and we can help you get through the rest, so don't go running off on us just yet!! XXX
Reet, oh Darling I hope your Puppy is ok....again!!! You definately aren't having a good
run ATM. Sorry your camping trip was a bit of a disaster, that sucks.
Ric you could never be intruding  We love to hear from you, and I am so happy to hear that you have been having a revitalising and happy time XX Yeah I understand that the forums can get us a little obsessed, I too have my quiet moments X It is really nice to see you pop by XX
Crafty, yeah got more than a bakers dozen and feeling it too!! How are you doing?X? Thanks for asking of me X
THopes honey, Big Huggs to you XXXXX Give yourself time, and look after that heart of yours XXXXX
MissK Gem Porche Saffy, Love you all thanks for being here for me while I am going through Mad Woman stage, I appreciate it more than you will ever know XXXXX
Well, I did it!! I quit my job!!! I am sooo relieved, I can't tell you. I've had such a knot in my stomach all week about it and it worked out fine and they were very understanding. So that is 10 hours/400 kms less travel every week - yah for me! DH has been lovely about it and I will look for something closer to home after our IVF so I am home on this lovely sunny afternoon, watching the chooks enjoy some lazy time out scratching in the yard (my poor garden but I just can't help myself) and relaxing.
MurryCod - 19 grade ones! It's amazing what a 30year old body can do!! I struggle to squeeze out one these days. Such good good news. We're all a bit giddy with excitement in here for you I think!
Forshelby - I must have missed your saucy post :) ah looking forward to a bit more sauce myself now I'll be more rested! We have a shower over a half sized bath so it would take a bit of gymnastics to make that work but you never know! Glad you could have some fun in this crazy TTC business!
Ric!! Welcome back! We've been wondering and wondering...glad you were having some much needed time out - now you're back in time for June (Possum - I forget the rhyme?)
Mildez, MatthewsMum, Dory, Kit, Gem, Porsche, MissK, T-hopes (join us for June!), Possum, Iona, Bons, Saffy, Reet (how's the pup?), Crafty, TTCaLC and all our other lovely women - hi and hope you have a good weekend planned.
Off to put my feet up....or maybe have a bath... or a nap!! Oh yeah, that's right, I have an essay to write!
Alice x
PS Kit, I sometimes do that too, I can't help myself but I'm sick of strangers (or people I hardly know) not thinking about what they say. So good, maybe next time they'll be more sensitive (just sorry you had to cop that). Hugs to you x
Oh and Porsche, I had bad bad cramps before I got my BFP - I was CONVINCED it was going to be a BFN so here's hoping it isn't!
murraycod-those swimmers did get to work, didn't they, now those nasty cells are being dealt with you'll be rolling them out,we'll all have to get the knitting kneedles out to clothe all your little ones...alice-glad your work was understanding, makes the world of difference...ric-welcome back, what is your cycle up to...mildez-how are you going?...
Ionamacca- Oh i hope ur spotting was implantation and not early af. FX! I hate seeing blood when ur not expecting it.. it just wrecks everything most of the time.. unless it is implantation for u.. oh i hope it was! anymore bleeding in the last couple days?? Its too early to take notice of bfn.. leave it a few days.. ur not out yet! x
Porsche- Oh i hope ur utd! ur symptoms are looking good. U are so so lucky ur body has sorted itself out so soon after ur m/c.. i am EXTREMELY jealous! U shld be proud of ur clever body :)
Bons- Im joining u in getting that bfp in june! x
Matthews Mum- Go away flu and hurry up af!!!! i hope ur feeling better very very soon and af shows.. i hope shes nice to u tho when she does x
Crafty- so hows the 2ww going?? keeping urself busy and ur mind occupied i hope! when are u testing?? once ur late or as soon as u can??? :)
T-hopes- Oh i hope this is ur month! Right now u will probly be doing a lot of bd'ing.. yay!! Good luck!! I have been thinking the same as u with the exercise thing, wld love to get my body exactly how i want it.. and now is the perfect time.. ill join ur lose 5kgs club! im actually going to start my health kick on monday.. u feel so much better when ur doing exercise daily.. i just lack the motivation and love my bed too much in the morning to get out any earlier then i have too!! I hope ur dh doesnt end up having to do sperm test.. actually it will be too early to know wont it whether ur utd or not.. so hes going to have to do it regardless?? poor bugger! my dh was going to have to do one and then i fell pg, thankfully for him.. he wasnt looking forward to it very much!
Alice- Good on you for quitting ur job! I can just imagine how good ur feeling. So happy for u. Im pretty sure im with u in the 'in tune with june' club! Bring it on!!
Saffy- so sorry to hear ur going thru a rough patch.. i can understand completely how ur feeling with the clomid. I cant remember feeling overly emotional last year when i was on it.. but i guess i was a bit more naive and carefree back then. I have my days now where i cld just cry and cry. I have never been like this in my life. I hope u start feelin a bit better once ur not on it anymore xx
Forshelby- Love ur positivity with thinking ur not going to be waiting too long to fall pg! I hope ur UTD in no time at all! :) Are u going to do OPK's to determine when u will be ovulating?? How long were u on bcp's for? I was on them for 8 years straight and stopped them last may.. I didnt get af for 4 months and then had it for 3 months straight.. i went on clomid, fell pg, had a m/c, and now my body still doesnt know what to do.. Drives me insane! I hope ur body is kinder to u. Hope ur shower bd was a good one! & ur practicing heaps!! :)
Possum- Sorry that af turned up. U might make the yay for may club though! I hope so! Oh and since ur the 20th too... guessing ur very stubborn like me??! :)
Kit- Did u get the blood tests done that u wanted?? I love urs and dorys 'motto' --everyday ur pg is a good day. Pls remind me of that when i fall.. i think ill be a nervous wreck! Sorry that ur doctors appointment wasnt too pleasant :( put a smile on ur dial.. remember.. positive thinking!! This one is urs to keep.. and i know ur little tiger will need u to be happy and healthy for the next 8 months x
Murraycod- Once again.. WELL DONE!!! am so so happy for u.. it sounds like it couldnt have gone any better for u! x
Hi to dory, ttca, gem, mildez, miss k and everyone else i have forgotten - sorry its getting late! big hugs!
AFM- Well i did a opk last nite before going to bed and the line was darker, so i guess we cld have a tiny chance that it might have worked this month.. still dont think blood wld be the best environment for the little spermies so if it were to happen it wld be a miracle. I have a little hope still tho. But am thinking next month will be more likely to be our month.. i just think my body is confused.. its probly better off that i have a proper cycle after m/c before falling again anyway. I didnt call my gyno, i just didnt really feel he wld have been able to tell me anything, he cld have sent me for blood tests to see where my hormone levels were at.. but i dont really want to know if 'o' is still to come cos dh wont be here anyway! i think i will just get thru this month and go hard next month. He wants to see me at the end of next month anyway. Hopefully im UTD by then! FX!!
As for the puppy situation, my poor little darling has an absyss, its on the inside of her cheek area, so basically from her eye down to her mouth. There was no sign of a bone so they think that when she either swallowed it or vomited it back up it cut her and then got infected. Shes on antibiotics and painkillers for the next 2 weeks now. They said if that doesnt start clearing it up in the next week then its quite possible that a bit of bone has splintered off and is stuck and they just cant see it with the xrays. If this is the case she will need extensive surgery to remove it. I so so so hope its just an absyss and will heal quickly in the next few days. FX. I cant handle seeing my babies in pain :( shes sleeping in my bed for the next couple nights.. she is such a snugglebug.
Anyway i better wrap this up.. i have been reading and writing for the last 2 hrs!!
Love all u ladies and thanku once again for all the kind words and support u have given me.. it is defintely making my journey a lot easier.. i dont have anyone that i can relate to and talk about my 'issues' with in the real world. xx
u can check out my gorgeous girls on my facebook page if ur bored! :) x
Marita McCourt | Facebook
Reet, your pupps are gorgeouse I checked out your facebook page, and I LOVE the comment about the money growing on trees....awesome!!!!!
Reet – ur girls are stunning, such posers!!! Hoping that it’s just an absyss on ur poor lil girl. I had some pink CM last night when I wiped but nothing more, it didn’t even look like the usual CM I would get before AF. Who knows!!!
Alice – yay on quitting your job, I remember when I quit my job, I think I made myself so sick as I hated going to work for so long and when I finally did it it was such a relief and now hopefully you’ll be able to concentrate on the things you want to without the stress of your work.
Murraycod – thank you so much for your kind words, after feb I had written the 19th of every month off as we had too many things happen on that date but it doesn’t help that my birthday is the 19th and it will be my 30th so really can’t write off every 19th  wow 19 fertilised at perfect grade, that is just awesome. In no time you will be announcing your BFP!!!
Mildez – hi sweety, how are things going??
Matthew’s mum – hope the flu disappears soon for you and AF shows her face!!
Dory – i didn’t feel too bad about getting the BFN, i knew it would of been too early but couldn’t resist hehe
Bons - for the BFN, if AF arrives hope that she is kind
Kit – oh sweety, it’s hard especially when you get comments like that, sending you heaps of sticky vibes chook we are all here to hold ur hand thru the next few weeks
Crafty – how are you going chook??
Hi to everyone else!!
AFM: as i mentioned earlier, last night I had some pink CM but it wasn’t my usual pre-AF and then this morning nothing. My bb’s look so swollen and i’m feeling nauseous so will see how things go. DF is out all day today playing golf and then he is off to the AFL so will just be my 3yo lil man and me, so an early night on the cards since I handed my assignment in last nite – now onto the study notes for my exams in a months time
Talk to you all soon lovelies xoxox
So many things going on in here!
Sorry for all the BFN's they suck and are such a disapointment. The time will come again for us all to be happy again.
and the few of u waiting af - i hope she stays away! I have myfingers crossed and will be looking out for the good news.
atm - got my af last night! I was so convinced i was pregnant but i guess im not. I though it would just go back to normal :( i guess it hasnt ive now had two complete cycles though. I was ok, i thought there is no way i could be pregnant because when i got the positive o test we didnt do it till 2 days after but when the af didnt come for 5 days i thought i must be.
Not much i can about it. Going to diet for the month as ive put on alot of kilos since the lost. Im 76 at the moment and i was 69 when James left me. before that i wa 58 so its gone up a bit. Im starting a new job at the beginning of June. :( Might take my mind of things.
I do the Tony Fergouson diet - not sure if it would affect the bub when there is one if im on it when i concieve does anyone know?
baby dust to all.
Morning ladies,
Just a quickie -
Reet - hope pup heals up quick - poor little thing with an abcess :( Hope next month all things are back on track for you.
MissK - re the diet, just thought I would share this with you, for what it is worth. With the diet I am on now, the idea is to have your biggest meal at lunchtime. This is one thing I will definitely stick to because it has meant that I no longer get the sugar cravings I used to get every afternoon where I would just want to eat junk and at night I only feel like eating a small meal - more like a snack. Anyway, I've lost weight (not the intention of the diet but a happy side effect!) and I was speaking to a friend who is just trying to get a bit more fit and healthy who is doing something similar (but without all the diet restrictions I am on) and she said the same thing. In fact, she has lost heaps just by doing this alone. I wonder if it is worth trying this before you go on an official diet? It seems to even out the blood glucose levels and I have more energy and my friend said the same thing. So it's things like no carbs at night time and at lunch having protein and carbs when you need the energy the most. Worth a try?
Gotta go but back later for more persies. Hope everyone is well this morning.
Alice x
Iona-Macca - fingers crossed x Sorry the 19th is such a hard date for you but hope you can enjoy your 30th
Murraycod!!!!!!!!! I have tears of joy sweetheart.i have been stlaking day and night waiting for your post! Thats is super brilliant news! I am so so happy for you and ur dh!! Rest urself as much as u can.xoxoxoxoxo
Hi Ladies,
First of all....
Murraycod- OMG!!!! 27 eggs is amazing. I'm so happy for you, and have everything crossed that this is indeed it. For some reason, I have a feeling it is. Also,
Dory - Glad I made you blush with my sauciness. LOL. There's a lot more sauciness where that came from. I think DP is going to be worn out when I'm done with him, and I've been really enjoying the spontaneous bd. Trying to keep it as random as possible for the time being.
Reet - To answer your question, I've been on bcp for just over 2 years now. So far, so good. I had a slight spotting episode today, but it was almost nothing. I'm putting that down to the fact that if I was fully into 'normal mode', I would have only stopped bleeding today anyway. So I assume it was just a 'slow leak' lmao...... I find that nothing works better than a positive attitude. Even when I feel like throwing a tantrum with frustration, I remind myself that my life is pretty great, and I should be grateful for all the lovely things I have. DP included. He is mostly the bringer of all these lovely things afterall. I can't remember if it was you who asked me about OPKs, so I'll just answer here. I've tossed up the idea of using them, but I'm not sure if I will. I don't want to come on too strong, iykwim? I suppose it would be nice to officially know if I'm ovulating or not, especially so soon after stopping bcp. I don't want DP to think I've gone baby crazy or anything. (which I clearly have... lol) Perhaps I could pass it off as experimental ovulatory testing. Ooh, that sounds technical. When should I start using them though. Nowish? It's all a bit confusing to me. For now, I'm just being au naturale about it all, but I can feel a trip to the chemist coming on tomorrow, while DP is at the footy. :) I also wanted to say how sorry I am your camping trip didn't work out the way you hoped. But it ain't over yet, girlie. Still some hope there, so keep your chin up and smile. As long as there's a possibility you're pg, then that's all the reason you need to smile. Hold onto that.
AFM, nothing new at the moment. Still just cruising along and enjoying the ride. Oh, and I caught DP smiling at a baby related ad on TV the other night. It was cute. He also says he wants a pram with mag wheels. LOL... do they exist? He makes me chuckle sometimes with his manly approach to baby making. Anyway, I'm off to watch DP's nephew play footy, and celebrate his birthday. Yay.
Take care, everyone.
HubbaBubba I miss you around here so very much!! It is so lovely of you to drop in on me XXXXX Thank you so much sweetheart XXXXX I'm walking around like a sore, constipated waddling duck ATM, but chugging down that water like there's no tomorrow!!!!!
Forshelby, darling, I love your attitude, with everything, it brightens the forum up, so well done and keep it comming!!
IonaMacca, My 30th was on the 11th, so we are pretty close in age! Happy Birthday for the nineteenth, just getting in now, because I know I am just about to turn into a crazy woman and might forget XXXXX Enjoy your quiet night, sounds lovely, have a nice relax.
MissK, honey, Huggs to you, we will get through this together hun, take it easy on yourself XX
Alice sounds like you are doing so well with the health foods, and well done on the weight loss!!! I lost 1.5 kg between my stims unintentionally, but my waist is all bloated and grose looking!
Girls, I'm heading off to Adelaide tomorrow for my ET Monday morn, I won't be around for a day or two, so just wanted to say a quick hello, and thank you to everyone. I have been so blessed, with the amount of support you girls have shown me X You have spoilt me rotten, and I love you all XXXXX
Good luck MurryCod - your waist is going to get a lot bigger very soon I think! You can be as crazy as you like - that tww is going to be torture but hopefully we'll keep you distracted. Have a safe trip with lots of lovely blasties waiting for you on the other end. Fingers crossed all goes great, I'm sure it will!! Congratulations to Mr MurryCod too!!
Alice x
Murraycod - awww, thanks hun. :) I try to be as optimistic as I can. I'm really glad you find it refreshing, and not irritating. lol. I know sometimes when I feel crap, upbeat people make me feel even more crap. (yes, I do feel crap sometimes.... usually at work hehe). Best of luck with your blasties, I'm so excited for you, and I can feel a BFP around the corner for you!
You've all made me feel really welcome, and I've only been here officially for a few days. Thank you all for that. This is such a lovely supportive place to be. I wish more people could be like you lovely ladies are.
:babydust: to everyone!! I'm about to drag that hunky man of mine home for a little somethin' somethin'. LOL....... I've been prepping him all afternoon. Gosh he's a lucky boy.
Murray Cod: I don't know if you'll see this before you go but I'll be thinking of you and your 19 eggs. I am  for you.
T-hopes: Sorry about the sucky welcome you got from your trip back. I hope you have your own BFP before you know it. Excited for you to get some more info from your new FS this week.
Gem: Good luck for your cycle. I'm hoping you have good luck with your scan date being on your b-day. I'm hoping it's good luck for me that i'm due for 'O' just after my birthday next week.
Reet: sorry you've been having such a hard time. I'm wishing you could get x-ray vision so you could see what's going on in that body of yours. Maybe you can get some more answers from your specialist? Hope your pup is feeling better soon.
Miss K: Sorry for bfn. It does help to think of something as a mini-goal for the next little while until you can try again. Sounds like a few of the girls here are going to try for losing a few kilos. I keep thinking I should do that every time i try on some clothes and find them a bit tight...but I find it hard cos i'm a real sweet tooth.
Iona Macca: Fingers crossed for you.
Forshelby: you made me lol with your evil bwahaha as you headed off to crash your DP's shower! Very funny. I think it's great if you can still 'practice' and have fun while TTC and not get hung up on only doing it at the right time. I've decided that's my goal for this month, to just enjoying being with DH. If i get pg that's a bonus. I know it's crazy but i also have this slightly superstitious thought that if i'm just DTD to get pg it won't work. I feel like i have to be doing it for the right reasons. (I think there's a bit of the romantic in me!)
Kit: I can see where you were coming from with the honesty policy on this not being your first pregnancy. I know that sometimes i have been honest about my miscarriage because i think people should know that it happens and it's nothing to be ashamed of. Sometimes I do it because i'm annoyed by people's insensitivity. You know, people who bug you about 'when are you going to have a baby?' or 'when are you going to have another one' (in my case), as though you can just go and buy a baby from the store whenever you want rather than it being a very personal process that couples go through and over which you have limited control!
A colleague asked me a while back: are you and your DH thinking about having another one (he and his wife were expecting)? I said "actually i just had a miscarriage' (He's a very nice guy and i didn't feel like lying and knew he'd be sensitive to this information). Without skipping a beat he said: oh that's hard...my wife and i had a m/c before this pg...but that's great that you are your DH are open to the idea of more children." I thought that was the smoothest response imaginable and gave him full marks for thinking on his feet!
Ric: No problem coming back after a break from belly belly. Good to hear from you.
Crafty, porsche, bons, saffy, alice, dory, mathewsmum hello lovely ladies (and to anyone i missed).
Hello everyone,
Hope all you lovely ladies have had a good weekend. Just popping in to say hi.
MurryCod - you must be so excited about tomorrow!! I guess you are in Adelaide now and resting up for tomorrow morning. Hoping you have lovely bright news waiting for you in the morning - go those little blasties. Can't wait to hear how everything goes x
Possum - how are you? What's happening with your cycle?
Forshelby - so your DH must be a happy man today :) We definitely need as much fun as we can get here otherwise this TTC business just gets you down. Thanks for keeping our spirits up!
Hubba-Bubba - how are you? We haven't seen your name here for a long while. Where are you up to? Hope all is well with you.
MatthewsMum - has that flu gone yet?
KittyKat - how's that belly of yours? I hope you are doing lots of snuggling and resting up.
Just a quick one tonight - hi to everyone - Mildez, Porsche, Crafty, Saffy, Ferrals (if you are reading), Sunbeam, Audax, Dory, TTCaLC, Reet, MissK, Ric, Iona-Macca, Bons, T-hopes, Gem and anyone I've missed - sending you lots of love.
AFM, I was lying in bed this morning thinking of baby names - we have this silly conversation every time we start IVF that we carry on for hours/days that starts when one of us all of a sudden says "What about..." and usually the other one says "No! That's awful!" or "Mmm maybe". So I guess that's a sign we're ready - the baby name game has started already! My temperature has stayed high-ish (could be better) so I'm feeling positive about things. Spent today doing lots of cooking and DH was out in the garden, think we are in nesting mode again. Oh so hoping we get our winter bub!
Alice x
Oh and I meant to tell you that I went to our local market this morning and bought...wait for it...chocolate chai tea! No, really, it's fantastic - caffeine free and no sugar and tastes delicious - I was in heaven finding a treat that I'm actually allowed to have. Pathetic I know...sometimes it's the small things...:)
Good luck MurrayCod!!!!! I'm so so so so excited for you and DH, you'll be in my prayers gorgeous woman!!! xx
Hello to everyone else !!
xx
Alice, Chocolate Chai! You are making my mouth water! I really like chai. Never seen a choc version before, only vanilla. So pleased to hear you are tossing around baby names. I'm glad you are getting into the idea of a June cycle. I plan on being 'in tune for June' with you! (Well i'm hoping i'm lucky in May but i'd be testing in June i think).
Murray Cod: Thinking of you. Hope all goes well tomorrow.
AFM: i miscalculated my last cycle. Checked my diary and it was 28 days just like the one before not 27 as i first thought. Silly cos it's only one day difference but i feel better knowing my cycle length isn't systematically decreasing or anything.
Quick question. A bit embarrassed but... i'm trying to keep an eye on CM and i'm wondering how you can tell when it's EWCM and when it's um...'fallout' from DTD?! How long after DTD would you be sure that it's CM you're looking at and not something else? Hours? A full day later? (Forgive me but i'm a newbie to this CM business).
Hi Ladies
Just wanted to say yay to murraycod you got 2 bakers dozen and a few more you lucky girl so pleased for you as you have such a big chance now of a big family like ME !!!!! No seriously I am so pleased for you I know how hard these last years have been for you and I told you the light is on at the end of the tunnel you just have to beleive in it ! Glad everyone seems to be on the right track either busy bdancing or in the TWW with me ! its going quite well for me considering not stressing too much just GOING WITH THE FLOW ! chilled out man ! can't beleive how chillled I feel really ! so unlike me in this TWW incase your wondering I will not test until at least 7 days late so that gives me another 15days so I am having a 3WW this time ! I have suffered with really bad thrush the last 3 days its a pain but got some meds now so it should ease off ! ( funny though not usually a sufferer unless I am UTD ! anyway will know sooner or later hey !
sorry not many persies but as I say staying away and just chilling really just wanted to wish Murraycod all the best !
Hi Ladies :-)
I figured I would finally bring myself back to the forums, and this is where I need to be!
I m/c'd in Feb at 10w. AF came 6wks later, and I've been waiting for her to visit again so we can start TTC but it's been just over 6wks again now and it's driving me nuts. I took a HPT last week which was a BFN, and I feel like taking one again but I have no symptoms and can't bear to see another BFN just now.
I have a room full of little stuff I can't look at and a close friend who is due any day now and, quite frankly, sometimes I just don't want to get out of bed!
But.. I'm feeling pretty positive right now, so :crossfingers: I can join you all in getting UTD this month :D
Murraycod - thinking of you this morn, hope all goes well!!!
MsKara - sorry to hear about your m/c, we are all wonderful ladies here which will help you along your way!!
crafty - good to hear that your chilling your way thru this TWW (oops 3WW) hope it goes quickly for you
HI to everyone else, my computer (well the uni computer) won't let me go back any further
It looks like I'm out for the month - I think AF has arrived this morn...oh well at least she's here before we go on holidays on saturday so we can have some fun while away hehehe
Hello MsKara, just wanted to say welcome and sorry for your loss. It's a lovely group of women here and I'm sure you'll feel welcome very quickly. We have our moments - from sad, to crazy, to ROFL - it can be very therapeutic!! So hope you will join in and let us help you get through this hard time. I lost my bub at 8wks in February and the pain is still very raw at times. I don't think we ever get over it but it certainly has been easier for me being here and being able to share those feelings with others who understand. Big hugs to you. It can take some months for things to settle down after a mc - it's frustrating waiting because you just want to try again as soon as you can so hope you don't have to wait too long x
MurryCod - thinking of you this morning xxxxx You must be all gowned up now and ready for your transfer. Hope the nurses are being super nice and your FS has great news for you. Exciting!!!!!! We are all thinking of you - how are we going to get through the next two weeks?! You'll have to post everyday or we'll go spare!!!!
Crafty - that's great you are feeling laid back about it and mm, well, not that I would want you to have thrush but if it's a possible sign of being UTD then I'm hoping you're right! How's the crafting going??
Possum - LOL "fall out". Um, well EWCM is elastic, so to speak. You can stretch it between your fingers and it won't break. "Fall out" (hee hee), on the other hand, isn't elastic. You usually get EWCM when you are about to ovulate then for a few days so you only really need to look out for the first sign of it and know that from then on (girls am I getting this right?) you are ready. Are you temperature charting as well? If you have a regular cycle you could count back 14 days from the end of it and guess that's when you O if you don't want to temp and use that as a guide but usually the EWCM is obvious at some point during the day. Hope this helps :)
T-hopes - what's happening with you?
Bons - is your DH home yet?
Hi everyone. Have a great day
Alice x
Iona-Macca - we posted at the same time. Sorry for your BFP but at least you won't have her spoiling your holiday. I keep meaning to ask you what you are studying - seems there's a few of us in here doing it. What is the course?
Alice, I'm studying accounting, basically got a year left!!
Hey Everyone.. Miss YOU all!! Feel like i havent been here in weeks..
Well went to my Doctors she told me i have 2 tubes( ofcourse) but only one is working :( but she said i can still have babies
she helped me alot cause we talkede about how long we been TTC and she said she TTC for 7 yrs and finally got prego at age 35. so that relieved me alot.
She told me on the first day of AF count 14 days from then and then 14,15,16 and 13,12,11 3 ahead and 3 backwards is the BEST days to conceive.. she said if im not pregowith in 6 months
she is going to set me up with some meds to help me O. She said i got a feeling ill get a call from you in 3 months.. Lets hope ,right i said..LOL
So that is what happen but other then that she said everyting looks good.. she said have lots and lots of sex even if u got to have it 24 hrs a day..LOL
The kids keeping me busy... getting things ready for our Vacation.. was going to go to Virgina Beach but ALL hotels thatis close to the beach is full for the Soccer tournament so im not sure were we are going now..
I hope everyone is doing good. Its 10pm and im exhausted wish it was still the weekend
BEST WISHES FOR ALL
THINKING OF YOU ALL!!
XOXOX
Anita
Forshelby- They say to start testing using opk's from day 12 onwards.. but yeah if ur happy to just go with the flow for a while do that! U might fall pg straight away and not have to turn into a crazy lady like the rest of us!! :) golly gosh the amount of money spent on opk's and hpt's from everyone in this forum wld be enormous!! :) see is ur next af comes on time.. that will most likely mean that u did 'o'. All this talk of u spontaneously bd'ing gets me frustrated.. i wish my dh was at home and not working away! haha.
Murraycod- Thinking of u today! Hope everything goes great! u will be mays first bfp!! i think anyway, kit urs was in april wasnt it..? x
Possum magic- this is going to sound gross.. but maybe smell it??! 'fall out' has quite a distinct smell i reckon... with me it usually comes out within a couple hrs after a bd. Do u use the opk's?? if not u cld maybe try them so u dont have to rely so much on ur cm.. The cm thing is all pretty new to me too.. i dont think i wld know when im 'o'ing just by checking it.. the opk's are a godsend!
Crafty- Yay for thrush if it means ur UTD!! :)
Iona macca- sorry about af arriving :( enjoy ur holiday though.. how long are u gone for?? u might just conceive while ur away having fun! :)
MsKara- Sorry about ur loss. I have also been hugely frustrated at my annoying body. If urs doesnt sort itself out in the next couple weeks see ur doctor and maybe get some bloods done?? I waited 10 wks after my m/c to see why i wasnt getting af.. i feel like i wasted so much time!! Good luck x
Alice- Bring on the nesting! what scrumptious things did u bake???
Afm- One of my friends whos into crystals etc. called me yesterday.. she has this crystal thing which she can ask questions and it either tells her yes or no..i havent actually seen what shes talking about, but i think its all to do with the movement of the crystal.. anyway earlier last week she said that she asked it.. will marita get pg on tues? it 'said' no, will marita get pg on wed? also no, will marita get pg on thurs and it said yes! Im pretty sure thats the day i o'ed on and its really the only day while i was away that we got a good bd in because of all the spotting! I know it probly all sounds a bit crazy but hey it keeps me a bit positive and if it turns out that its correct ill be over the moon!! We'll just have to wait and see i guess! Positive thinking!
Kit- how early did u get ur bfp?? 9 dpo?? im going to go crazy with the hpt's in about a weeks time.. i think ill use ur strategy.. start testing early.. it worked for u!!
Anyway better go. Hello to everyone!!! xxx
Reet- Thanks for the advice! I haven't had much luck finding somewhere (searching online) to buy OPK's, so I figure it's a sign. None for me this month. Let's hope this is the one and only! lol... I am always on a very regular cycle, within the 28-30 day mark, so that's good enough for me. I am hoping af doesn't arrive!!! I'm sorry if my random deed doage is frustrating to you, it must be hard not being able to have your wicked way whenever you please. Especially at a time like this! But it's really good to see you're thinking positively and I like the sound of your friend with the crystals. She just might be right, you know. I really hope she is.
MsKara- Welcome back! I'm so sorry about your loss, it must've been so hard waiting so long for af, too. When I mc'd at 8 weeks, I was one of the 'lucky' ones who returned to 'normal' (whatever that is...) straight away. I am thankful that my body works like clockwork, and I can always rely on my cycle being regular. I wish I could do something to give you some of my good fortune in that sense. Just remember you're still grieving, so be gentle with yourself, ok? It's been a long long time since my mc, but I still need to go easy on myself sometimes. I don't think it's something you're meant to just get over, iykwim? The pain just changes into something more manageable. It might sound terrible, but it's kind of become part of the background noise of my life. It's always there, but it's not at the forefront anymore. Tbh, I really only came full circle when DP finally said we can TTC. I waited more than 2 years for him to say that, so it was a huge relief, (he said never) and since then I've felt a happiness close to before our loss. Not quite the same, but close. It's nice to have something to look forward to again. I hope you fall pg quickly, and that this one sticks! Babydust to you!
Possum Magic- There's no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid mistakes. Or at least that's what an old boss would have me believe. I too have the same question, as I do find it slightly difficult to tell exactly what I'm looking at for at least a couple of days after bd. Not very helpful for me at the moment since I've been attacking him at every opportunity.... LOL. So I'd just like to say ME TOO in regards to that question, but with a slight modification. I want to know if EWCM will still look and feel the same, even if we've been DTD madly at the time. i don't want to miss it!!
Alice - So glad to be of service. I try to keep positive, no matter what. It really does seem to rub off on people. Someone at work even asked me why I'm so happy all the time. I confessed that I'm not, I'm just really good at pretending sometimes. :) I prefer to use honey, rather than vinegar. So far I'm very sticky, but I think it's working..... lol.
AFM, nothing new to report. Had some slight cramping today on my left side only. That was a bit annoying...... not sure why I'm cramping so early. Maybe getting ready for O? (6 days away). What do you think? Also, out of curiosity... where can I buy OPKs on the Goldcoast? I assume the chemist has them, but after the last trip I'm not keen on browsing around. The lady behind the counter looked at me like I was an alien when I asked if paracetamol is all I can take during pregnancy. Then she looked at me like I was umm.. 2 aliens (lol) when she asked how far pg I was and I said I was TTC. I thought that was pretty rude. I mean, you're supposed to ask these questions. Or am I mistaken, and I should just take anything willy nilly because the pharmacy staff are too uptight to answer me without judging? haha.... nothing like a bit of sarcasm. Seriously though, really put off by that woman's attitude. I know I look fairly young, and I'm only 25, but really.... she should just answer my question without making me feel like an idiot. Well, that's my rant over. Back to waiting for O. hehehe.....
oh yes, and DP is a very happy camper with me being so randy lately. It's so nice to be off those awful bcp and feeling normal again! I forgot what it was like to feel turned on at random, rather than having to tell myself to get in the mood because it's been more than a week since we last DTD. Matter of fact.... I might just have to wake him from his manly couch slumber right now in a provocative manner. LMAO
This is a me post, apologies in advance, but I need your advice. Ok, so this morning DH and I (he took the day off, wanted to come to the appt, I didn't think it was that big a deal, but hey, the man wants to be involved). All bloods good, HCG at 5 weeks was 2355. Very happy. Went shopping. Got annoyed when I had to go pee for the 4th time that morning. Blood. Lots. So freaking unexpected, no pain no cramping no anything. So, I'm shaking and my heart's pounding, I call DH. He sneaks into the girls toilets, I show him the blood (I honestly don't know why, and in hindsight a bit icky, but I wanted too at the time). So we go to emergency. I was in a daze, no idea what's going on, I just kept telling Tiger ''it's all going to be ok'' and practically hyperventilating at every twinge. We see the triage nurse, explain, she checks the blood and it's stopped. Thank God. She says she'll give me an appt for beta's in an hour or so. I go to the toilet - blood. Lots. I go back to triage nurse. We get given a bed, I'm refusing to stand upright or sit, cos I remember my Mum saying she bled with my Sister, and she lay down for 3 days and it stopped. There is no freaking way I'm standing up. They take blood, well, after blowing 2 veins they take blood. I'm still kinda waiting for the cramping to begin, DH says he's hopeful. I say if we make it, and Tiger's a girl, we're calling her Hope. The midwife says that they'll put my blood in the counter, and depending on how high HCG is is how long it will take, she says an hour is good. I hyperventilate anytime feet come near the curtain, I want to see no feet for one hour. I get taken for an ultrasound, no bloods back. It's internal and I'm still bleeding. I apologise (lol!). The Dr can't find anything. I hate her. She keeps looking, she says ''ok'' and shows me a smudge on the screen, but she can't find a heartbeat. I dont care, I'm still pregnant. Another Dr (or a tech?) swivels the stick around a bit, she finds the heartbeat. I love her. They can see the bleed, but don't know why it's there, it's right behind the baby, which scares the crap out of me. We go see the nurse for pamphlets and beta's. I'm sitting up, and I can feel some bleeding, I slouch as best I can. She says beta's aren't back, but too much info is a bad thing. I look at her like she's crazy. She sigh's and rings the blood people. They say the maching is still counting and it's over 10, 000. I tell her I like information. Information makes me happy. DH tells her we have an ultrasound booked for Friday and should we still go, she says definitely not. So, that's my question, should I go to the ultrasound on Friday and double check everythings ok, or do I let it go? I feel very tender, and I was told to expect a bit of spotting. I'm still really scared, but very aware how differently today could have gone. I have no intention of standing or sitting up for oh, 7 1/2 months. Crap, this was such a lucky day, so glad DH was there, could not have driven myself around. So 5 weeks 5 days, beta's over 10,000, baby with a heartbeat. And some blood. So, happy and scared. Pretty freaking usual really. I trust you guys, do you think I should go on Friday, or leave it?
Reet: I got a potential positive/evap line 11 DPO, and BFP 12 DPO with internet cheapies that tested 20 miu. I had cramping 8 DPO so I was hoping for a day 11/12 BFP, cos apparantly after implantation it takes 3 days to build up the HCG. Good luck sweetie xoxo, when you get your BFP - try and make it hassle free, beg the baby to be nice to you!
Oh Kit, My heart was pounding as I read that.... are you okay? Those numbers are great. My HCG was only at 3900 at just over 7 weeks. (On the decline, I suspect). I realise mine were very low as I was about to mc, but 10000 is a huge difference.
Let's look at the good things here. DH was there. Tiger has a heartbeat, and your HCG is right up there. That's a pretty good handful of good things, I think. I know how heart wrenching it is to see all that blood, and I can understand the panic you must have felt. It's okay to be scared. You'd have to be made of steel not to be afraid right now. I don't know what kind of advice to offer, except to take it one step at a time. I know that's pretty useless but it's all I can come up with without sounding patronizing. I'm sure you'll get enough condescending comments from well meaning people around you, should you tell them what's going on.
You'll be in my thoughts all night and day until we hear from you again. Stay strong, and I'll be sending you all the good luck vibes I can muster. I don't have any more words, but I do have a huge HUG here for you. xoxoxoxoxoxo
Oh, and if it was me, I would still go to the scan. I don't know why they would tell you not to? I think the more information you can get, the better. Best of luck, sweetie. I am so so sorry you've experienced such a scare.
Oh my god kit! u poor poor thing :( what a day.. but u shld be so happy with the outcome.. i think u shld take a few days off work and lie down. When i started bleeding thats what everyone (my mums friends, my friends, doctor) told me to do.. unfortunatly it didnt help for me.. mine was already gone, but urs is all good with a heart beating!! yay!! I have done some research and they say when u wld normally be getting af it is quite normal to bleed.. apparently some of the lining that the sac etc isnt attached too can still shed.. a doctor suggested that this was happening when i started bleeding at just over 8 weeks.
I honestly think u will be fine.. like forshelby said.. everything is all good - theres a heartbeat and ur hcg levels are going up.
Oh this is bringing back so many scary/ painful moments.. i remember feeling like my world was crashing down when i first spotted blood.
I hope this is ur only scare for ur whole pregnancy.. get it out of the way now!! Dont u wish that we werent all ttc as hard as we are.. imagine finding out we are pg at like 8 - 10 weeks like a lot of other women do, it wld be so much easier and the 12 week mark wld come so much quicker.
I reckon u shld defintely go for the scan on friday, i dont understand why the midwife wld say no??? Golly gosh i think ill be wanting a scan every week!
Try and relax and focus on the fact that U SAW UR LIL TIGERS HEARTBEAT TODAY!!! WOOHOO!!
Good luck kit, you'll be right though, just lay back and relax for a few days x
oh by the way did u ever get ur progesterone levels checked? were they all good?
Forshelby- Woolworths sells Forelife Opk's.. they are just near the hpts and condoms etc. Or i got some off the internet, they are called David Ovulation tests.. maybe try googling it.. u get like 50 for $35 or something.. my friend got them for me.. u also get 10 hpts with them.. which is handy! Good luck!
