forshelby - i had the same prob with my last pregnancy with hot chocolate - I was so upset with not being able to enjoy my hot chocolate

Alice - so sorry to hear that your going but yay on being able to start IVF (except that it's in 4 months). Please drop in to let us know that your doing ok, we'll miss you!! xoxox FF has me testing on 12th that is when AF is due (well if I go back to 27/28 days but the last 2 cycles were 25 days)

AFM: still nothing to report only 3DPO and yesterday felt like it dragged on....

    a few personals...and something personal

Alice: we'll miss you if you don't post but you have to do what's right for you. I'll be thinking of you even if you are only 'lurking'. You must trust your TCM dr a lot to wait on her advice. I hope that what she is doing for you is just the trick.

mskara: THat is very hard, hearing about other people's pg but also finishing a quilt for others when you had hoped to be finishing one for yourself can make you heartsore. I'm a quilter and i know it can take me months and months longer to finish something than i think i will. Are you going to keep working on your quilt? I thought it could symbolise hope: so that when you get your next BFP you will be ready? Or would it make it harder?

Reet: I know the 'heartsink' of that BFN. So sorry it wasn't +ive. I'm glad you're going back to the dr: i think sooner rather than later is better if things don't feel right.

Damprye: very strong of you not to test! Very impressed you are 'going with the flow'...and the ice cream McNuggets!
Forshelby: Sounds promising ooooooh, excited for you to test!
    Dory: Yay for 24+ weeks.
Mathewsmum: hope you are 100% over your flu and feeling good.
Iona Macca: Good luck for the study: I know that feeling; where you manage to find umpteen things to do that are not studying!
Saffy: Hi, got my fx for your next IVF. But we had decided not to get a year older, remember???!!! Just kidding
Kitfaerie: So lovely to hear all about your MS and sore boobs! I reckon spot of old blood was from the bleed you had a few days ago and nothing new to worry about. I know it's hard to know how to talk to people TTC when you are already up the duff. THe SMS was thoughtful. Either you really did read into it something that wasn't there or she just doesn't want to seem like she's not happy for you so wouldn't fess up. But i think you did all you can.

AFM: Started feeling 'fluey' yesterday: a bit seedy, aching back. THen last night i started to get some cramping. I've had 'twinges' on and off for about a week but last night's was distinctively cramping one spot on each side, which to me feels like pg rather than AF coming. I couldn't help myself... i tested this morning... there was a second line. it's faint but DH agrees it's a I'm scared to believe it in case it disappears. I'm going to test again after AF due date (in two days) to check it's getting darker but cautiously happy.

Woohoo congrats Possum I cannot wait till it gets darker for you

Iona- I hope the next two weeks fly by for ya

Alice- you do what you need to get your BFP, I cannot wait to hear an announcement from you in 5-6 months

Forshelby- Not too much longer before your test time *squee*

    So sorry Reet

AFM- Not much to add, AF went MIA yesterday until night when I had some slight spotting again which I still have today. Very crampy atm though which is somewhat weird as it is up in the right ovary, I hope what happened when I fell pg with my boy isn't happening again as it would mean that O day is today I so wish I had some OPKs just to put my mind at ease. I started gagging when I though of food yesterday ~.^ Well that is all from me for now.

Kit - so so pleased that Tiger is snugly. About your friend - you did the right thing. Ball is in her court now. She might be being honest and its all good or maybe she needs to work through some stuff. In the end, you're still her friend. You will be able to tell in time. Good to see the Twilight escape helps.

Alice - I am really going to miss you around here. Your posts really light up my days. But I understand why you need to take a break - being on here is so good most of the time but sometimes it's not and a break is good. Have faith my friend. I do in you and your TCM. Can't wait for your BFP news.

Possum - awesome news. Congrats. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Ms Kara - did you get your appointment? I understand how impatient you're feeling.

Dampyre - hope things settle themselves soon.

Forshelby - what's the update on today's symptoms....

I haven't heard from Murray either. Fingers crossed Murray..

Mathew;s Mum - oh such good news. It's so close now.

    All good here.

    Hi Ladies,

    Another BFP?! Omg! CONGRATULATIONS, Possum!

Alice - I'm sorry to see you go for a while, and that you have to wait for IVF. I hope the next 4 months flies by for you, and can't wait to hear your BFP announcement. I'm glad I have you convinced with my symptoms, because I'm not entirely. Thanks for the encouragement.

Iona - You had a hot chocolate problem, too? Now I'm a little excited....... I bought a new one last night to try, so I'll let you know how the next batch goes down. Hehehe..

Damprye - Gaggy? Test! lol. Your willpower is amazing. I would be peeing on any stick I could find right about now.

AFM, Couldn't resist taking another OPK this morning. So negative it wasn't even funny, so decided not to waste any more. I heard they aren't as sensitive as a HPT and the HPT would show + before an OPK anyway. Not sure about that one, but I figure I'm wasting money and disappointing myself by peeing on sticks constantly. Oh no, I've become a POAS addict.

So it's been a draining day for me today. A very dear old friend at work retired, and we had a bit of a 'ceremony' for her last day. Needless to say, I was a blubbering mess, despite my best efforts to hold it together. I will miss her very very much, and seeing her cry totally set me off. I still feel weepy just thinking about it. Anyway, by popular demand here are my symptoms for the day, lol

-Nausea on and off, especially in the morning. Almost threw up when I saw the mess of stagnant water and last night's dinner DP left in the pot in his attempt to 'soak the grime off'. Ewwwww..... he was not impressed at my gaggy face, as he says he meant well. I know, but ew.
-Armpits hurt more than boobs today, not sure what is happening with that. 'bruised' sensation around the sides, nipples the same as the last couple of days. (will update if they've changed since I haven't checked them yet after work)
-Weepy (though I have been known to have a PMS cry in the past)
    - NO HEADACHES. Odd, since I normally get headaches for the last week or even two before AF. Yep, I'm lucky like that...
-sniffly nose this morning, and a little blood when I blew it. Only a speck.
-exhausted (but today was very very emotionally draining)
-backpain almost non-existant, and cramping only slight
    -cm staying the same. lotiony
-no sex drive whatsoever, and it's been more than a week now. Confused by that. When I think about DTD, I just feel uninterested, and would rather sleep right now
-hungry as hell. (usually get this before af though too)

So that's my 9DPO in a nutshell. I'm not feeling all that excited today, just kind of flat. A lady I work with, who knows I'm TTC seemed to blow off my 'maybe I'm pregnant' statement today after my public crying session. Her response? "You're probably not. You've been on the pill for years and years and only just came off it. Don't get all disappointed if you're not." For a close friend, I found her comments really patronizing and kind of un-supportive. a simple 'i hope so' would be good, ya know? I reminded her I've only been on the pill for 2 years, and didn't bother telling her about my crazy symptoms, since she didn't seem keen to listen. If I'm not pg this cycle, I'll be asking questions as to what the tingling boobs and bumpy areolas are all about, when the only time I've experienced that is when PG.

Here comes the hopefulness again..... Bring on 10dpo! Getting tempted to test early, now... but so far sticking to my test date of June 7. Or maybe 6... hehehehe

Oh forshelby, whenever I see that you've posted I jump on here to see the update hehehe

Oh how rude of your friend - 2 yrs isn't long being on the pill. I was on it for 10+ years before we started TTC#1 and it took me 7 months to concieve going straight off the pill. This time round took me 4 months from going off the pill but we weren't actively trying....now i'm coming up to 4 months since the m/c but the month after we weren't trying as I couldn't do it.

Oh i can't wait till the end of the week, that this is it for you sweety xoxox

POSSUM!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! YAY!!! So happy for you my dear, I wish you a happy and healthy 8 months and a gorgeous lil bubba in your arms at the end of it

Alice: Oh darling, I'm gonna miss you so much! But you do what you gotta do, feel free to stalk The important thing is to get a sticky bubba and you do whatever you have to do to make that happen.

Forshelby: I got pregnant first month off the pill with Splat, and my mother was pregnant with my sister 1st month off the pill too - actually my mother got pregnant 1st try with my sister, 2nd with my brother and 3rd try with me (although as she says - your father was only home on weekends). She gave me such unrealistic expectations! Lotiony cm is the one that stands out for me, good luck babe

Damprye: Do you temp at all?

AFM, bad day. Had decreasing morning sickness for the past 3 days after the spot of brown blood of sunday. Usually when I wake up I feel like I've been hit by a truck, whereas the last few days I've felt good in the mornings, but start to feel sick as the day goes on. Really hoping it's just random morning sickness fluctuations. Got a doc's appt tomorrow morning so I can get beta's done. I really thought that once I'd seen Tiger's heartbeat that the anxiety would fade, but it goes on. Seriously hanging out for 12 weeks.

Iona - I find it incredibly sweet that you're so excited to read my posts. Feeling like a bit of a thread-hog at the moment, but things are so confusing right now, and I know you ladies have been through all of this stuff. Hopefully your BFP isn't far away.........

Kit - Thanks for the positive thoughts! I know it's not unheard of to fall pg straight away, and with the help of OPKs etc I don't think it's unrealistic for it to happen. Also my regular cycles and a-ok hormones (as far as I can tell) is a huge plus. My mother was another 1st try and BLAM she's pregnant kind of lady. Her exact words were "I'd practically think about having another baby and suddenly I'd be pregnant." I was even conceived after a vasectomy which the doctors called successful. (no, it wasn't the milkman, lol) Best of luck for your BT's tomorrow. I hope those numbers are doubling, doubling, doubling! And I'm sure the m/s thing is just shifting a little bit iykwim? I guess you can't feel the same at the same time of day every day, right? Say hi to Tiger for us

Small update: noticed a lot of blue veins through my chest after a hot shower. Does this ever happen for no reason?? I'm trying to be objective here and find a possible 'normal' cause for the things I'm experiencing. Oh, and I swear my areolas are a deeper shade of pink. Can't be sure, though. I also think they look a little bigger, but can't make up my mind if it's real or not.

Only 4 more days. Trying not to get my hopes up, but it's so hard with all these supposed 'symptoms'.

kitfaerie-hope all goes well at dr's tomorrow,i know it must be hard to not worry about morning sickness decreasing but what i've read/heard it's not always bad. With my 18 year old i didn't have any morning sickness....forshelby-your symptoms still sound promising,i think i've read somewhere about the blue veins,i think it might be a pregnancy symptom
